  1. Btw, this thread is almost a year old. Please look at the posted dates. I have added much more recent works.
  2. SM you didn't follow the guidelines. You said "Text: Xisto Corporation", you have "GFX Trap".
  3. That would be photoshop jumpa. Please stay on topic.Nice tutorial, but you forgot the brightness/contrast, there's no depth in it.
  4. I think the fire is from the render. But I'm sure there is a tutorial on good-tutorials that'll tell you how to make fire.Request filled! Thread closed.
  5. Well I put the brushes in my "student file". Which is a file that has all my files from my computer classes. And I can upload them from there. It was just something quick for the teacher, since she wanted to see what we could do.
  6. I guess you can haslip. It's not hard to make at all..
  7. Ya..I suggest changing the name of the site. "My Green Hole", then seeing a picture of a girl on the splash page could really lure traffic away from your website. Doesn't look to professional...
  8. Might as well post this aswell, nothing special. We're learning photosho in class Please do NOT adjust your T.V. Sets.
  9. We're working with Photoshop in class, and ofcourse I'm ahead. Here's something I whipped up for fun. I didn't have any resources besides some brush packs I downloaded . And I can't even put them in the presets folder! Comments?
  10. Or you make go to https://support.xisto.com/ ; and fill out the forum with the information that you posted with your hosting request. It'll all be done for you.
  11. I would probably read George Washingtons. You know, to see what was going through his head at the time..
  12. Also, it might help to get rid of the cathodes. It's a usless addition to the computer that requires power, which I'm sure they get pretty darn hot in there.I suggest a new power supply, and a new surge protector. If you can get a UPS. It'll come in quite handy (Uninteruptable Power Supply).
  13. To be brutallu honest, I've never backed up my computer. For one, My DVD Drive has never worked, making it quite hard to make a disk over 500MBs. Being 15 I dont have the money to by an external harddrive, and my parents won't get one for me. Hopefully by the end of the year I'll have a job with the district, and I can either get one fromo them, or have the money to by my own.I've lost my computer to a power surge before, lucky my harddrive was in "ok" condition. But I don't wanna take that risk again.
  14. Well I agree with this, and disagree. For the most part, if stupid had laptops at there desk, they'd be tempted to go out and surf the web while the teacher is talking. Or even get on some chat programs. It's easy to get by filters so there isn't much stoping people, espessialy on a wireless network.Though it would make the teachers life easier, not having to try and read the chicken scratch some kids produce. The only way a teacher wouldn't be able to read a paper if the student made the font to small, or didn't even print it!Then again, most students don't know hwo to use a computer fluently, there will ofcourse be some issues, and maybe data loss on someones part.
  15. I don't know how to make it the slave drive. How bout I just unplug the DVD Drive, since I have 1 cable branching into parts, one goes into my DVD and one into my CD Drive
  16. One problem: I don't have any other IDE cables.Could I be able to just completely disconnect my DVD drive, since it doesn't work anyways?
  17. Ya the Computer had a power surge. So I took it in and had the motherboard and power supply changed. Before then the CD Drive worked fine, now it doesn't..My Secondary IDE Channel is Disabled, could this result in an issue? Because my Drives are said to be "Funtionaling normaly"..
  18. Well I can just press the button and the CD ejects. The CD Drive just doesn't work. I can hear it spin for a few seconds then it stops
  19. I figured it's the motherboard. Because I didn't have a chance to install all the drivers before my DVD Drive crapped out. http://forums.xisto.com/index.php?acttbox&shout=4569 Can anyone decifer that?
  20. My voltage could be to low, that's a strong possibilty. Because my CD Drive worked find before I got a new power supply and motherboard when I had the power surge.Haslip told me to do something, I didn't quite understand it, maybe he'll explain it further?
  21. I've had problems with my CD and DVD drive for a while now.First off, my DVD drive is +/- RW, and it used to read CD's, after a while it stopped working. When I had my power surge I mentioned that it didn't work. They replaced it. So it worked for about a day, then stopped again. Well if I know anything, that's not supposed to happen. Now AFTER I had my computer fixed, my CD Drive stopped working aswell. I just replaced my CD drive myself today. Still doesn't work.I don't want to take my computer back into Best Buys because then I won't have it for another few weeks, and they'll probably just replace it...Is there any software that I could have installed that make them not work anymore? Because both drives are new and working. I heard from the "GeekSquad' that this could be the case, but I wouldn't know of any software that'd do that...Any help to get my CD Drives working would be appretiatied, thanks.
  22. I keep posting here, well for the most part I'm a moderator! When I first came here, I came to help people out, and learn new things, I wasn't really here for the hosting. Then with new things, comes new ideas . So I made my own website and got hosted.I'm still here because I love the community, everyone is great. I love being a moderator for Xisto.
