That is not necesarily (sp?) true, one click on your link and you may gain a regular visitor which in turn turns into one gauranteed hit per day... and they spread the word. Dan - Since your site is not of music I would rather like to link to you with a 88x11 image.. please make one... I would cut down the one that you put up.. but there is not button as "this page cannot be found."

That could work - but you'd need lots of money for bandwidth - might take you a while to come out of the hole - but when you're out I'm sure there is good money.

You must not have that much experience in web sites. You gain more "members" through affiliate programs like this - however it is really not a program, just a link image trade. I gain 99.9% of my hits from these - while only a few, lets say 3 people a day, come through Yahoo and Google. My Site's Google PageRank: 2/10 How to get higher? Link to more sites right? I believe so.

That doesn't make sense, just thought I'd comment on it. Why would you want a CMS if it's hard? Isn't that the point of one - to easily update?

just use cutenews (available at cutephp.com) and design your own website and just include the php to display your news.. VERY SIMPLE! more simple than any complete cms - in my opinion.

As most of you know, as if the large banner under this doesn't give it away, I run the website ZROenergy (hosted by the great Xisto). Anyways, to the subject.During the pass few days I've received an average of 60+ hits. At the beginning of this month I was receiving 100+ hits on average. I'm linked to around 35 websites - some receive less than 10 hits a day - others a little bit less than me - and only a few receive my amount if not more. I'm linked with Becca, from Xisto, who runs Vintage Fairy (dot) com. (Which is a sexy website I must say.. drop by and say Chris sent you!) And I would surely like to affiliate with others from Xisto - why? I don't really know. But it would be nice to be part of a larger community together, in which we can give reviews of each others websites - sometimes in affiliating - you gain a friendship - because you visit each other's websites daily.I affiliate with E/N (ie everything/nothing) websites, some blogs, and most importantly with MUSIC websites... being because my website is a music based website. I "big link" (ie 88x31 images) music categorized websites while I only "small link" (ie 88x11 images) other types of websites. So, if you would like to affiliate, please put my button up on your website (found on my website's about page) and reply here (replying in my shoutbox would also be nice) and I will most likely put your image link up - I rarely refuse to link to anyone... but it does happen in some vary unusual cases. I don't care how many hits you get - quality is what I look for - I don't want my affiliates to make my site look bad - just as I'm sure you don't want yours to... who wants to be put in the same group as beginners - when others view you as an expert (yes, imagine that! haha) - and who wants to be categorized with rippers (ie stealing other people's designs! - I DO NOT affiliate with rippers).And thus, this has been a long post so I will say good bye... and I hope to be viewing your site with one of my images on it soon!

this site is designed very badly. i can't even navigate it. lack of easy navigation is the single worst thing in any website. i give it a rating of 0 out of 1-billion.make it navigatable. too many ads messes that up too.

here is what you do: ...first, download cutenews. found at http://cutephp.com/ ...second, install cutenews. the download is very easy and simple, as cutenews uses flat files and not mysql databases. ...third, cutenews allows you to post news in an online form. http://ww38.yoursite.com/cutenews -> add news. you can edit your news, seperate them into categories, archive them, delete them... and so on. ...fourth, viewers may post comments to your postings. ...fifth, you can always let people register so they can post. ...sixth... cutenews is easily mod-able and is one of the best news/blog programs out there. it is fully customizable via an easy template editor included in the download.

Asking what religion a person classifies themself as is a way of finding out what their underlying values and virtues are. Most Christians are good - in their conscience - though they have the underlying values, the modern person knows that no one is as they say they are.2. It's something to talk about. If you have the same interests it is easier to talk to people. Say, you can talk about what your church does or whatever.3. They may just want to know what you believe in. Do you believe in Buddah, Jesus, Moses, Ra, etc.4. They want to bash you. "Your religion sucks. It is just another way of conformity!" Usually spoken by a thirteen year old. Blah.As for me, I don't attain myself to any religion. I have the underlying values of a Roman Catholic. However, I do not attend Church. Religion is non-existant in my life, except for my base values. I believe it is a great way to be - and it hasn't gotten me in to any troubles - or caused me to fight - and I'm a good person. What?

Does anyone know of a script that will tell people if an IP is online or offline? Like it will ping it like every fifteen minutes or so and will display an online or offline image accordingly. Or at least it supports images, text is fine I guess, but I'd rather it use images.Any help on this will be appreciated! Thanks!
