I was reading about the amd x2 for notebooks coming in a couple of days, and there was this article that said that the new nintendo console named revolution is going to be named Wii......Now what kind of name is that? I liked revolution better, it looks like its going to be another kids console.

I was just vacationing in mazatlan this weekend, until a sting ray decided to turn my vacations into a 1 legged vacation. I was just going inside the ocean, and suddenly I felt as if something sharp had stabbed my foot, It hurted and it immediately started to bleed. I immediately told my uncle and my aunt as I was leaving the ocean, they saw the blood, and when they pressed the injury a whole lot of blood squirted out. Thats when they realized it was something more than serious, maybe something sharp had cut through an important artery or veing inside my foot because I was bleeding like a fountain.They told me to lay on the floor with my foot up in the air while they where pressing the injury to stop the bleeding. As soon as it started bleeding they helped me into the van and took me to the nearest hospital, where they told me it was not a sharp object that had cut through my foot, it was a stingray. Its the most painfull thing that has ever happened to me, that things poison hurts a lot, It hurts like 10 times the pain of the extraction of the back molars, and believe me, my molars hurted a lot when they were extracted cause they had to get broken up a lot, it took me like an hour and a half for each freakn molar.If you ever get bitten by a sting ray be prepared for a whole lot of pain that will last for about 2 hours, depending on how you react to the shots that supposedly take the pain away. Freakn things never had any effect on me. Stingray poisoning is like a torture.

Well if you want to like sleep around 4 hours per day or at least less and still be ok you should try out the polyphasic sleep method. Ive been trying it with the core sleep I get about 4 to 5 hours of sleep per day. Before you go out and do this sort of thing, I suggest you investigate a little, try to find out how it works and why, and if you can adapt to this sort of schedule. One thing you are really going to have to take care of is your eating habits. Your meals are going to be as important as breakfast is after every nap. And they have to be healthy meals. It consists of taking a half hour nap for every 4 hours through out the whole day. So, it would give you a whole lot of free time to do almost anything you want, but its really tough to adapt to. Ive tried adapting to it many times, (to the full method) but I just dont feel like doing it without the core sleep just yet. I dont need that much time anyways. If you get over the first week, youll be fine. Other ways to search for this is the polyphasic sleep or ubersleep.

Everything, you can do almost anything on the computer. I used to play games when I had time, what I do on my free time is record music when Im inspired, and when Im not I just practice or play with instruments. I also mess around with graphics from time to time, I am currently using it to be up to date on subjects related to my carreer, and starting a business with a friend. So I use it for everything, from work, to hobbies, to learning, and some rare times, playing. I still go out though, but Im definitely going to need to buy a really comfortable chair.

I wouldnt call it cheap. I would call it buying intelligent. People who are used to, and still get money from their parents never value money like the people who do. People who earn their own money know how much its costed them to earn it and they know exactly what they want and what to expect from it, getting what they deserve through all the reasearch etc. I also look for reviews and try to get the most I can out of my money. I also tip, and I often help poor people out with some change, I usually have to sacrifice a lot of things to be able to go out and stuff, you just got to treat yourself sometimes.

Well I dont know about that holy war that was just mentioned, a very religous friend told me about something like that going to happen, but I dont think it was going to be anytime soon. Where either you join one side or die, they will say something like, either you are with us or against us. I really find it kind of akward to think that the devil will just pop out of the sky and stuff like that. I dont think a comet will probably crash into earth that day either, because it would probably have been discovered already. And a 3rd war? I dont know, the way I see it is that middle eastern countries dont stand a chance against the United States's weapon technology. Besides, if it is an allied war, I think that the allies that would be on the United States side would definitely be stronger than the others. Though, I think they would probably use nukes, I read the other day that the United States has a way of destroying them with a laser before they reach their target.What I do think is going to happen, and I am afraid of is the Bird Flu. It is a whole lot more realistic than any other event that could happen. During the whole time of the world there have been a lot of, I dont know how to call them, cleansings maybe? In which a lot of people die in a catastrophe, and I read an article the other day, if this virus develops and mutates soon there still wont be enough time for preparation to try and fight it. It is said that if this happens within the next 2 or 3 years it could wipe out way over 40% of the whole worlds population. Theres a whole lot of info about this flu in the internet. Its worse than any epidemic, and treating it is going to be really tough since its going to be really contaigous once it reaches a level high enough to be passed on from human to human. The vaccine will probably not be discovered until 6 months after this outbreak, and it will probably last a whole year. Lets just hope it doesnt happen.

I really did not like the final fantasy advent movie, I guess I was expecting a good movie (had really high hopes for it), all I got was impressive graphics and a movie script that was probably written by a kindergartner. I cant wait to play the game, although I dont think it will be superior than the original final fantasy 7. The movie white chicks is really really funny, especially when you see a girl at your school that looks like the white chicks. LMAO!!!! Its probably one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Sorry!!

huh? have I been missing something? Last time I played counterstrike was about 2 years ago, I have never played cs:S, but those ragdoll physics and the wall thing seem pretty cool. I do remember people needing skill in Cs, I dont know why they would leave that out in a new version... Definiteley wouldnt be much fun to just walk and shoot.

Wow, thats pretty cool, though the cat in my house has his litterbox and since he is only 1 its no problem for us. The real problem here is the dog, she like to mark territory a lot, no matter what we do she always waits until she is inside and when nobody can see her, that she leaves us her little presents. If only dogs could be as smart and clean as cats.

My worst ebay experience was when I order the Nintendo GameCube when it came out a couple of years ago. It costed >$500 dollars in stores here when it just came out (about 3 -4 months after the US), so I thought I would save some cash and buy it from ebay. I bought a used one for about $300 dollars, it had two controllers, tony hawks pro skater 3, and was in excellent condition in its original box. Everything went perfect at the beginning, the payment was received and the seller shipped it...... Until it entered Mexico. These 2 legged rats from a service called mexpost, intercepted the package and were holding it until I pay them $250 dollars for customs and their stinking services (intercepting services), and not only did they do that, they were supposedly threatening me to return my package if I did not pay them (they werent going to return anything, eventually one of their employees would misteriously disappear it...) so I had to borrow the money from my mom, and got grounded and stuff but I got my Gamecube... Now Im more carefull with shipping, there are services from other shipping companies that have a place you can use to send the things you buy, and before you buy them you can ask for an estimate of how much it will cost with everything included.

Well, I dont know his age, but Im thinking that it is somewhere around middle school, and I definitely think you guys here at Xisto are being way to harsh on him. I mean, you dont even anything about his life, how can you possibly keep on criticizing him, its either just for post count, or you have nothing else to do. Ok, I admit, the first posts are ok, and I think that about by now, he already realizes that he messed up badly, but why criticize him so much? He probably is one of those innocent type of people who dont act before they think, or are easily influenced by others, like in this case his so called "friend", or maybe he has peer pressure problems, or just wanted to feel cool for a moment, or problems in his house. I do not think we should turn our backs on him. and as fellow Xisto members we should try and wish him luck and hope he learns from this mistake, and maybe he might be able to think before he acts next time, Instead of putting him down and stuff. It would be awfull to have your future messed up just because you where influenced to do this type of stupid dare joke. Wow, your page is really really cool. I had a problem like this a while ago, it looked fine in my computer but in a friends computer it looked messed up. It was the flash player version he had. The problem was that flash player wasnt even informing him that he needed a new version. I dont have a cellphone, and I really havent cared about it, its not like people cant reach me, Im always on the messenger or somewhere where they can reach me. There is no excuse for them not being able to reach me or contact me in anyway, and when there is no way for them to contact me, (in example in the movie theater, or out) it IS because I am already somewhere and I wouldnt care about them wanting to contact me, But society and specially my work are pushing/forcing me to need one, so Im probably going to get one. At least I will be a bit healthier than the people I know who have been using cellphones about 5 years before me. I had always been aware about these waves being harmfull especially in the cellphones back then, I do recall them being dangerous, and I definetely think they still are, all though less intense. C'mon, I mean, they stopped calling laptops, laptops, because people had the idea that they could use them on their laps, then they started having cancer and had to call them notebooks, I dont think that having a radio transmitting device next to your head could be that good, could it?

I seriously doubt any thing like this would ever be made since sleep is for the resting of the mind. You would probably end up dead if keep your mind working while you sleep. This would probably work more when you are awake, but then again it would be almost like the same thing as studying.

This kind of reminds me of the evolution pearl jam video, where all the people working in computers where enslaved by their systems. I think that this will have a major impact on the electronics worlds, and I think that its beign kept so much as a secret to keep pirates away from trying to discover a way to hack this sort of thing. Though I think that nothing is impossible, I really think that this will be something difficult for them to acheive. This is really bad because I was just wanting to get my feet wet on linux, and what for? if in a future I wont be able to?

I really prefer amd's over Intel. I definetely think that even though amd chips are a whole lot cheaper than intels, it doesnt necesarrily mean that they are low quality. They are even better than intels most of the time, maybe because we see it from a gamers point of view, in which I think amd is stronger, but in mobility I think that intel i the leader right now. I really dont care much about mobility, so I would rather get an amd chip and some extra ram with the money I would be saving.

Sorry, I didnt mean force, what I meant was that the user was told he needs the flash version 8 in case he has a previous version. Because I have had problems with this in some computers where they have flash player 7 and the page just looks awfull because it doesnt have flash 8, and they dont even know why, and flash doesnt automatically update its player anymore.... I kind of remember that it used to do that? Oh well, thanks for the links, right now I am checking them, I was already considering forgetting about the new filters and just export in flash 7, but now it depends. Thanks again.

wow, for being a beginner it looks great. Nice job, I like the first one better, though I like the colors of the second one but the only thing I dont like about it is that the rifles look like they are made of asphalt or something weird.

I think soccer is one of the best sports in the world. Its really fun, I used to play in a soccer team in Texas, but that was like 8 years ago. I still play with friends sometime but very ocassionally

Wow, thats pretty cool, but I still would like to shell out twice as much for a pc that will do the same. Sure apple pcs are pretty but I would rather spend the money on something else, something I can keep on upgrading easily. Though If I was rich I would probably go ahead and buy the mac.

Does anybody know any code I could put on the actionscript or in the html that will make the visitor to a webpage download flash player 8 in case he doesnt have it? All I have found so far is this 1000 line javascript code, but I wouldnt want to use that, anybody know another way around it? Thanks.
