And I notice that you quite often get things wrong which need correcting. In this instance, it wasn't even a correction, merely a suggestion as to how to do things better. And your point might have more validity if we weren't talking about something whose very basis is technical. I post a lot on other forums where technical preciseness is the norm and not something where it's considered 'unimportant'. So when posting on subjects of this nature, I apply the same level of specificity across all boards. I can't help it if you don't have the same rigorous standards or the knowledge to match it.

Trends That Get Too Popluar... Why do I hold a grudge agents them @_@?

There's enough hate in the world as it is without adding to it just over what someone wears. -
You got other things to worry about first - says your account's been suspended.

Can't tell you why it happened cos I don't know you or him but it's probably cos he has certain inadequacies which prevent him from standing up like a man and giving you a real reason for not wanting to hang out with you. I'd say it's him who's got the problem, not you. You'll be the one with the problem if you waste any more time worrying about someone who was probably too immature for you in the first place.

If you want to make 'web-standard' sites, do all your coding by hand.

And while we're at it, why don't we call anti-abortionists pro-sticking-their-nose-into-others-business?

Add to write your CSS more concisely: .menu { background-color: #193265; text-align: center; font-weight: bold }.menu a { font-size: 10pt; text-decoration: none; color: #BBC9D7; display: block; width: 100% }.menu a:hover { background-color: #1F3E7E; }

There's heaps of similar threads already going round on this forum; don't really need another one.

Not if you know what you're doing.

What a load of rubbish.

What are you talking to me for? I haven't posted anything in this thread prior to this.

Internet Explorer And Web Standards The harm IE does to Web

Web standards is a set of guidelines as laid down by the World Wide Web Consortium: they're not something that each individual person has their own definition of. -
Web Browsers Safest Internet Web Browsers

That's only part of the reason. Because the majority of the world's PC users use Windows OS, it's almost guaranteed that people will use the software that it comes pre-installed with it cos it's free. Without any sort of commercial imperative to make a better product, MS programmers haven't needed to apply the same stringency to their products as other software developers. -
And I got it wrong too. It should be http://www.w3schools.com/ Please merge my posts if need be.

You got the URL wrong. It should be W3schools.

It's not browers; it's users and you'd be surprised at the number. It's generally not something that individual users do, but rather IT departments looking after big networks of computers that only want users to have the minimum of functionality.

As the top & left scrollbars are only going to be moving in the same direction as the right & bottom (ie horizontal & vertical), there's no point in having them. You've got all the possible movement you want (except diagonal which isn't going to happen with scrollbars) with the normal two scrollbars.

I'm glad you got something out of them, but from a quick look, there's loads better resources out there.

It may not seem like such a big deal but I believe it's symptomatic of an ever-increasing trend in (at least Western) societies for people to be less and less conscious/aware of the effects their actions have on people around them and their environment. People don't care about other people any more, they only think of themselves. You say "so what?"; I view that as you saying "f*** you, I don't know you, why should I care about you or alter my behaviour not to piss you off?" (By the way, this is not directed at you but rather at people who do things that piss others off and either do it deliberately or are oblivious to it happening.) People care less & less about other people today - they're too caught up in their own little world and don't care who they offend/tread on/push past to get what they want. Extrapolate that attitude and take into consideration the effects on things that people don't directly interact with (like the environment), and you can see why this planet is the trouble it's in.

Try reducing your number of keywords. Keywords are given next to 0 importance in PageRank but can affect you negatively if the spider thinks you're 'keyword stuffing'.Also, you've got an extra <body> tag above your <head> tag which shouldn't be there.

Web Browsers Safest Internet Web Browsers
Tyssen replied to Antihack's topic in Security issues & Exploits
It's because IE uses a different rendering engine from Opera: Opera is a standards-compliant browser, IE isn't. A lot of sites uses CSS hacks to get things to work in IE and if Opera identifies itself as IE, it gets fed these hacks which aren't compatible with its rendering engine and result in incorrect display. You can, of course, set Opera to identify as Opera or Firefox rather than IE. -
Same could be said about baseball caps - aren't they s'posed to keep the sun out of your eyes? Well, why wear 'em sideways or back-to-front? And sunglasses - again for keeping the sun out of your eyes. So why wear them upside down off the back of your neck? For no other reason than cos the person doing so thinks they look cool. You'll always get those people; not much you can do about it.

Korysweb Layout Made it for a friend..

You could've used background colours instead images in a lot of cases. Also, blue text on a dark grey background's very hard to read. -
Isn't it funny the excuses people come up with for bad weather?
