  1. I am having the same problem, but I will wait 48 hrs before worrying too much, but cpanel ( sub domain name) still does not work..
  2. My browser tries to save the .php file every time I press shout
  3. I watched a video on this subject in physics class. When they observe the particles they behave in a certain way. But! when they didn't observe them or watch them, there was a totally different result. Its something extremely hard or impossible to understand. Fine line between them. The two boxes, not the same. of course are going to have two different results.
  4. But you have to admit, it would be really cool to have one! The bed design is a little impractical.. I use my computer while in bed.. how does that work out?
  5. I don't like the thought of destiny and everything happens for a reason ideas, If there really was a destiny wouldn't there be some way to read it? Everything is random, why do particles act two different ways when we observe them or not? you can turn around and expect something and it not be there. We cannot see the future, it hasn't happened yet. And if it hasn't happened yet how can we define it with destiny?
  6. I know exactly how you feel! I recently had to install ubuntu onto a removable hard drive so I could always have my data. In a way it is like a soul, It can have a thought process and a meaning to its life but it gets iffy around the free will part.. My computer is my friend and I treat it just as I would any other human being. is that odd?
  7. And what about something like lamination paper? clear and durable, or better yet laminate the paper... like the cd skins
  8. Mplayer for me! you can get frostwire for Ubuntu just check out frostwire.com
  9. I loved KMPlayer probly illegal in the US because of all the codecs included but I never had to switch to another player once I had that! http://forums.kmplayer.com/forums/
  10. SONET (Synchronous Optical Network) is a standard for multiplexing data. It is used primary for backbones composed of fiber optics.++++Ok explanation coming---- Say you have a ring (hence sonet ring) point A= point of data entry B= exit data from point A is split up and sent around both half's of the ring, so if one half was to get cut all the data would be routed to the other half and no data is lost ( unless the entry or exit point is disabled) VERY BAD! My Dad spent a month explaining this to me and I thought id share my headache with the rest of you. Ok your data is split up to both sides of the sonnet ring and if one side gets cut your going to be ok...!!!! IF YOU PAY FOR IT !!!! If you haven't paid for it, when the ring is cut and the data tries to go to the other side the server says HEY! password! and if you are not on the list your data does NOT go through and your circuit goes down... then the customers complain and say "You have us on a sonet ring why are we down?" then you say "you didn't pay for the other half" kinda funny how we have come to nickel and dime people now days.
  11. I guess we are lucky its free, it works and it works well ( if you set it up correctly ) I haven't had to go back to windows once. But WINE could be a little better, it would be nice to be able to use every program I had in windows but I not complaining cause Ubuntu was free. I think having a software repository like linux does is a lot safer than going out and downloading from a public server. The Ubuntu Programmers maintain all of that software ( if you only use the official updates) and I don't think they're out to get us all with viruses...
  12. When I first switched over to Linux I used Ubuntu. Love at first sight! Worked out of the box with my old desktop and made it run like it was new. Now I have it installed on a removable hard drive so I can take my desktop with me. Windows was just getting too... well crappy.. I was tired of all the malfunctions and hardware incompatibility. Thank you Ubuntu!
