Do You Have Stairs In Your House? I am protected.
bangms replied to Velveteen's topic in General Discussion
I have a two story house so I have one set of stairs. -
I've only sleep fully clothed. Straight Up. I don't think I've ever slept naked, it just sounds really weird to me. I've probably slept in just underwear like a couple of times but that's probably it. The only reason I would have slept in my underwear was because it was super hot or something. But on a daily basis, I sleep fully clothed.

Do You Think That Friday The 13th Is Bad Luck?
bangms replied to karlo's topic in General Discussion
I think Friday The 13th is not bad luck. I don't understand why people believe it is. I guess it's what you believe or whatever but I personally think it's just stupid. Like that whole 666 day - June 6, 2006 - was totally dumb: nothing significant happened. In general, I think that superstitions are fake and that things we come across in life are both positive and negative. -
Well I'm not a Coldplay fan but I have to say that they have some really really cool songs. The ones I've heard from them: Clocks and Viva La Vida are really cool songs. Especially Viva La Vida, one of my favorite songs right now. I like their style and music genre so maybe I'll start being a fan of them soon.

Whoa. I never knew I shared my birthday with Steve Jobs. I respect him a lot as the CEO of Apple so I think that is really cool. He was the only person that actually sounded interesting on the list. There's some other people that share my birthday such as Mayweather Jr. (American Boxer) but they are not as interesting as Jobs. I think I learned about this in 8th grade. It was American History...I think. Hey, I've been to Arizona once. Does being at the Colorado River count? Parades are nice. Wow...no comment. One of my best friends is Cuban... Sorry about the lame comments, I'm just bored.

My answer would probably be No. I think leaving the Earth, friends, family, practically my life behind for the experience of seeing deep space doesn't seem worth it to me. I mean it does sound like an incredible experience, like truly spectacular, but going out and never being able to come back, it doesn't sound worth it. It does make me curious to think about what is out in space and even further than what we know but I guess I just have to leave my mind to imagine.

Hmm. That is a tough question to answer. I know most people said they would travel to blahblahblah . . . or whatever but I would just spend time with loved ones close by. Traveling to some sort of destination would take up too much time so I'd rather have like a huge gathering. Of course the money...I'm honestly not sure what I would do with it. I'd probably spend some of it on myself with like food or something - there would be no point in getting like a car or something if i was going to die a couple hours later anyway - and give the rest to others. I would straighten up an tension between me and others and just tell everyone how I feel about them at that moment in time.

Keyboard Cars dont throw that old keyboard out
bangms replied to serverph's topic in General Discussion
Whoa. That's pretty cool - but I wouldn't do that to my car, if i had one. Even though it's creative and colorful, it would be so embarrassing driving around everywhere with that on your car. -
I Found Out What Lorem Ipsum Was Yesterday.
bangms replied to EricsSite's topic in General Discussion
I think I found out about Lorem Ipsum was when I started getting into making websites and borrowing templates from the web. What I like about it is that it does its job - it fills up its space. Unlike ';alksjvajnoiruhg78905gy98hsrpsh49ghkjgls' or whatever, it's actually constructed in a way that it resembles real sentence patterns. -
I live in California, USA. I live in Southern California in the Los Angeles area - well actually about 40 miles east of Los Angeles. I love where I live - it's a nice community, great warm weather, and I live near the entertainment capital of the world!

How Do I Get Rid Of The Placeholder Page? [resolved]
bangms replied to bangms's topic in Web Hosting Support
Whoa, my bad. I totally forgot that I applied for a different subdomain. On my application, I wanted BangMS.trap17.com but now I decided to change it to AmpdMS.trap17.com. On the form I filled out, I put: (ampdms.trap17.com). And this is the one I want to have instead of bangms. Sorry, I guess that was my mistake. Should I make a new request? -
I was just wondering how to get rid of this page. I put all my files in the right place: (/public_html). I'm using php files for the home page that link to html/css files in another folder. I registered my domain yesterday so is that why I'm getting the error? Here's the site if you want to see the placeholder I'm getting. Edit: Another problem I'm having is accessing a remote database. I'm trying to connect to a mysql database at 'localhost' but when I click 'Go Back', there's nothing in my Access Hosts Table. Maybe I'm having these problems because my domain is new?

hehe. It sounds like most of the people here found Xisto by using some kind of search engine. I used Google to find free web hosting that had php and mysql. Xisto wasn't the first site to come up but by looking through the different sites on the first site, I somehow managed to find Xisto. The hosting/credit system makes it really easy to maintain hosting and I'm enjoying the site. The thing that attracted me to Xisto was the great reviews I've heard of it on other sites. Keep it up!

I'm kind of unsure about what you're saying but I think I get what you mean. You're saying that if we treat our computer as a 'being' then we'll do more than we could ever do. Personally, I think of my computers as just . . . computers. I think of them as a device that helps us with everyday things. Even though I think of computers this way, I agree with the second part of your opinion. The computer gives access to tools and communication with people that we wouldn't ever come across without a computer. I do though disagree with the part about treating computers as a 'being' or 'living thing' or whatever. They're just simply devices that accomplish the task that they're given.

I doubt that this problem could be malware/virus/spyware related. After all, you did say it was a new computer and in addition, you already scanned your computer using your anti-virus/anti-spyware programs. If you got a reinstallation disc with your computer, I recommend reformatting your harddrive and reinstalling a fresh new install of your operating system - that way you're sure that there are no software issues and no unnecessary system manufacturer programs. If you can't even start up the reinstallation with a new disc, then you know its a hardware issue and if you still have warranty on it, then return it and ask for a replacement. If your reinstallation does work, it might be some drivers that weren't updated with your hardware.

I would have to say Simpsons. My answer is biased - probably like most people here - because I don't watch Family Guy as much as The Simpsons. From what i've seen of Family Guy, I didn't as much humor as when I saw The Simpsons. The humor I did see was by using dirty jokes or something. I haven't watched either show in a long time so I guess my opinion shouldn't matter that much.

Here's one of my favorite quotes. It's not serious or 'deep' or anything but when I heard this, I couldn't stop laughing."The Mavericks should do the Box and 1 Defense.Put the box on Kobe, and the one on everyone else."-Lakers vs. Mavericks, March 2, 2008I think it was one of the commentators who said it during the game. I'm a Lakers/Kobe fan so when I heard this, I thought it was hilarious.

I agree with lethologica! I can't wait until The Dark Knight comes out. It looks so good. I hope it does as good as Iron Man did. I'm also looking forward to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). I guess 2009 is kind of far off from now but I can't wait to see what Michael Bay and the visual effects studio ILM - Industrial Light and Magic - can pull out of their hats.

Bogus Grand Theft Auto Iv Contains Trojan
bangms replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Security issues & Exploits
I totally agree with kobra500. If you're not even smart enough to know that it is not even released on the pc yet, then you deserve to get spammed with malware and viruses. Grand Theft Auto IV still isn't available for the pc yet, right? If it was, it would make sense why people would try to download it. But seriously, how can you be so dumb to download a nonexistent/unreleased game? -
I surprisingly found this movie enjoyable. At first, I thought this movie was going to be some boring family movie, but it turned out to be really enjoyable. There were a couple funny times and the chipmunks' attitude is what makes the movie interesting. The music is also really cool - I think any age group would enjoy the songs. I would recommend this a Rental.

I can't wait until this movie comes out. I really enjoyed the first Batman of this series and hopefully this will meet all the expectations that this movie is getting. I saw Iron Man already this year and in my opinion, it was the best movie of the year so far. Dark Knight seems like the only competition to Iron Man for this summers blockbusters. I guess we have to wait and see if this tops Iron Man as best movie of the summer.

Saint Michael's Movie Review Corner: Iron Man
bangms replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
I completely agree with you 10/10 rating. It was without a doubt the best movie I've seen so far this year. The action kept me interested and the humor made the time enjoyable. I've personally never seen Robert Downey Jr. in any other movies beside this and I have to say that I'm impressed by his acting in this. The story and character development is great and it all makes sense. Definitely a gotta see movie. -
I really enjoyed this movie. I like the whole direction that the producers/director took with the whole 'it could happen in real life' thing with the camera. It gave you a sense that you were actually watching confidential video of recovered footage from a monster attack. The monsters were definitely unique. It's not like other movies where there are monsters and only a couple people are killed, but rather many people including lead actors/actresses die in this movie - which gives a sense of realism. I heard that there might be a second cloverfield but i guess we'll have to wait and see.

Movie Review - Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian
bangms replied to coolcat50's topic in General Discussion
I agree with you coolcat50. I really enjoyed watching Prince Caspian. The whole look of the movie and direction still kept the continuity with The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe but showed us a totally new side of Narnia. I'm not going to say that this is the best movie I've ever seen but it was definitely worth seeing in theaters. Unlike varalu, I actually thought the movie was kind of long. There were many battles and great CGI that kept me interested throughout the film. Story was also good too - it all made sense to me. I would give this movie a good review and recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. -
I've had experience with only Yahoo and Gmail. My main email service is Gmail because I like the whole design aspect of it more than Yahoo. Also, Google seems to provide better web services than Yahoo so I guess I'll stick with Gmail for a while.
