  2. I've never heard that sit ups were bad for you, just that they didn't really do anything. As far as bicycle crunches go, I think I've heard something about those. Not really sure, though.
  3. Did you technically break any rules, though? If it's not in the handbook or rule book or whatever you have she honestly shouldn't be able to send you home. 0.o
  4. I have lots of dreams about cannibals. I don't know why, but over the past few years I've developed an irrational fear that I'm going to be eaten by one due to those dreams. >< And it's sick stuff, too. Like, the cannibals are old ladies. And then, like you said, I have dreams where I'm being chased. Only, I can't scream.*shrugs* dunno where they come from, and don't really care as long as I don't have them.
  5. The only things I can't read are like, books. I had a dream a while back about the fifth or sixth Harry Potter book. I had somehow gotten an advanced copy, and I couldn't read it. I just about threw a fit because I had gone to all that trouble to get it.
  6. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Took me a little bit to find it . . didn't realize that they had added an "r". I is stupid. ;p
  7. Aw he's so little! It's too cute. I think Kit-Kat works perfectly for him. How'd you come up with it?
  8. I have that problem, too. My doctor put me on some Melatonin pills. She said it was natural, too, so I won't get addicted. So far, it's working.
  9. I hate it because it's pretty and shiny and I don't have it.And it's slow.*cough*
  10. I was an idiot and bought a copy of SUSE two years ago. I'm too stupid to figure the wrapper thinger, so I have no internet when I boot into Linux. Oh, and then I forgot my login password, so I had to remove it . . andandand. *ahem* I love linux, but not Suse.
  11. I would tie up any loose ends (prayers, fights, la de da). Then, let everyone I'm close to know that I love them, and anyone I've only been on bad terms with know I don't really hate them, much. Finally, I would eat whatever and however much of it I wanted and sleep. That way, I would just die in my sleep.
  12. I'm sorry . . . my boyfriend's cat just recently gave birth to kittens, too. She had four, but one was stillborn also. That's got to be terrible. >< But in a few weeks he should be up and about . . . so I guess that gives you more time to think of a name.
  13. The only people I'm friends with who would be willing to get off their rump this summer are either severely underweight or over. I'm overweight . . . but ehh.And I guess you need to find a partner that's just as motivated as you. That's the main problem I run into. . . I had this one that we both started off the same weight . . . but then she just starved herself for a year and dropped 50lbs . . I only lost 10.
  14. sfdaljdsaflj cuteness! His markings are similar to my cat's (Jack). How old is he now? If you still haven't named him yet, you might want to wait until he's old enough to be playful to name him--that way you can pick out a name that's just right for him.
  15. Oh, no, stuff like that still goes around today. Women still are treated like . . . less at work. Mind, it's annoying when people go to the other extreme and are all for female supremacy. Bleh, it's like no one can just chill.
  16. I see this a lot . . . if people actually knew as much about Christianity as they pretended to, they'd understand, even if they didn't care.
  17. Heh, third one's coming out this year so ya better watch it soon. Mind, it's going to be in theaters, so I hear.
  18. Sure. If you need any more, I'll be glad to look.
  19. If you're trying to make a valid point, examples would be nice. Here you seem to be showing a lack of insight as to what Christianity is, and as to why his (the Christ's) death was.http://www.allaboutjesuschrist.org/sinless-jesus-faq.htm Actually, most of the testimonies I hear are from former drug abusers, prostitutes, street children, etc. Christians who grow up in Christian homes make up only a minority in the Church. Children who grow up in Christian households tend to take Christ for granted. ie, think they can do anything, or walk away from Christ completely. You're confusing me; that is nowhere in the true Christian. You didn't even state what religion it was--from what I can tell, it must be a cult. This does has nothing to do with your point.
  20. Let me correct you on something: he didn't "let" others kill his son; that's what Jesus was sent for. You make it sound like it just happened for no rhyme or reason, and God just sat back and did nothing. And he did do something, didn't he? Jesus rose from the dead. It wasn't "okay die now plz".Also, it was exactly easy on God. If you were a parent, or could at least see from their point of view . . . you could see that any loving parent would rather kill themselves than their child. Er, and all the other important bits were said in the post above me.
  21. No, I thought it was a very good point nirmaldaniel made. But, I suppose it's not something a non-Christian would understand.Besides, as for "wasting your whole life waiting" . . . we're not just sitting around on our arses. We're supposed to be preparing, and living each day as it comes. "Live no day but today", eh?
  22. Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell (by Susanna Clarke) hands down. I have lots and lots of favorite books, but it's so hard to narrow it down . . . Battle Royale, Lord of the Flies, The Twelve Kingdoms, and just about anything Orson Scott Card and Terry Pratchett writes. Nrrgh. *happiness*
  23. So, did the other guy just twist the story around a bunch, or are they convicting you even though they know what really happened? I dunno, but I agree with the people who said you should take it to court. Or at least find out what the other guy said.
  24. I feel stupid. I really don't think I've ever heard of that day. . . . *lives in ignorance*
  25. I agree, it was great. I was kinda confused with the added Susan/Caspian romance, but I really don't think I minded. (Ben Barnes or whatever his name is, is, well, hot.) The CGI was even better than in the first, too.
