  1. Considering I'm a music fanatic...I'd say above 15. Here goes..Calm Before the StormSilver BulletPromiseTiger LilyWrite this DownHey, Don't StopGuernicaTautouCar UnderwaterTime & ConfusionNever Take Friendship PersonalThrough the DoorScarlet Letter Part IIBroken Glass SyndromeMy Favorite AccidentKillWorkPainHaha...I was running out of time at the end, so I just thew on all the 1 word Jimmy Eat World songs I could think of. You never said we couldn't be tactical
  2. I'm sorry, I was going to answer your question, perhaps with something inciteful and though-provoking, but upon reading this over...Did you say that Metallica was the world's biggest band?...I think not.
  3. Everything comes back eventually...it's the trend of our world.Look at bellbottoms...or Carebears, My Little Pony...Thrash will be back strong eventually...just like Leave it to Beaver came back as a movie decades later haha.
  4. I'm into all types of music, but my heart really belongs to rock and all of the subgenres. Ska, Indie, Alternative, Powerpop, Punk, Hardcore, Acoustic, "Emo" (quotations because I don't think it really exists )...I'll listen to anything, because music is just an amazing force in life, but that's really where the majority of my listening time is spent.
  5. UnderOath <3Senses FailMotion City SoundtrackDaphne loves DerbyCartelMatchbook RomanceSpitalfieldThere are tons of amazing rock bands out there, both signed and unsigned, and from all the different subgenres of rock. I really can't say what the 'best rock band' is out there, or even my favorite, but those are some of my most listened to at the moment. I love discovering new bands I haven't yet heard of, especially if they're good haha. Don't just settle for a 'best' rock band, keep searching! There're tons of gems out there
  6. Radiohead is definitely not Indie. Modest Mouse, yeah, Franz Ferdinand, The Pixies, definitely, but Radiohead, no. You are correct Caveman, they are alternative. As for other Indie bands I like besides those mentioned... Armor for Sleep Inspection 12 June Lovedrug Daphne Loves Derby (gods) Faraway As Tall as Lions Lakota Anatomy of a Ghost Forever in Motion Gratitude Like Yesterday
  7. I've played Devil May Cry 3, and in my opinion, Capcom has done some good. I was very afraid that DMC3 would end up like the horror that was DMC2, but thankfully it is like the first one but improved upon. The fighting system is great and allows for alot of freedom in style, and the bosses for the most part are difficult and well thought out. As always, it's a little too short for my tastes, but that only shows that it's a good game. Who wants a game that they feel is too long?
  8. Sometimes its better to receive games or consoles later than the rest, because it gives the companies time to do a broad range 'debug test', if you will. That way, you don't buy something and find out it is horribly defective. Oftentimes, even though the Japanese get games and consoles first, there can be a horrid glitch that wasn't caught during testing that causes the game to lock up or worse. I say it's better to wait for a quality product than to have it asap and end up disappointed.
  9. I think it is unfair to judge any system, console or handheld in its first 6 months or so. Games are always lackluster and lacking in number during that time. Also, any games that come out in the beginning can be looked on basically as experiments. For example, look at a PSOne title released at release and then look at a later one that came out just a few years ago. The system didn't improve, but developers find new ways to push the hardware and coding to the limit. I still don't think after all these years that PS2 has reached its limit yet, I'm sure developers could crank something even more amazing out. So basically, give the PSP some time. Even the DS isn't coming into its own yet, I'm sure there will be some amazing stuff in the next year or so for it. The same is true for the PSP.
