  1. I use Windows XP on my main pc with dual boot with Ubuntu horay and Windows 2003 Enterprise Server on my second pc. I like Windows, but I like Linux more. Let's wait for the compability to go further

  3. heh, sounds tempting but i rather keep my files in my computer :oim sure it will be hard to reach 1 terabyte of storage unless you're uploading every CD you have.
  4. I might advice you to try linux here with Gimp, it comes lighter than Windows + paint.

  9. If you think that's taking away our privacy google for "Palladium" Most of the privacy stuff built in will be option, meanwhile there will be lot's of work arounds. Dont get too scared yet. Our privacy is not highly threaten yet

  11. got something running marking all those folders as read only? some utility to protect files, anti virus or some firewall doing it?
  12. I use emule plus and dc++ with reverse connect, no problems with spyware at all.

  15. You can always mount the ISO and install on VMWare of Virtual PC... It's safer.. you're not keeping it anyway... im sure of that lol
  16. There's a basic guideline industry, write games on the most compatible plataform, which is windows.Longhorn will not force you. That's a different technology which I dont remember. It's a chip that will be included on all motherboards. But probably no one will follow it Longhorn privacy will change, but on registrations against piracy. The main thing, will remain as XP, ir similar...
  17. For the most interesting in having a closer look @ longhorn, there will be a release in about 20 days or something, in the end of April. It's the official beta 1 and second they say, there will be some nice surprises. WinFX has been removed, which has improved the general performance, Avalon had a code review and lot's of changes happened. Let's see, good or bad, it will be a surprise lol
  18. I used Easy CD Creator, but gave me some problems on Buffer Underun, so I gave up and I'm using Nero for 2 years now. Really good.

  21. @ AbstracT - we can't blame her, if there's someone to blame it's him. There's no concret sign, there is body language, there might exist physical signs, but they are not easy to find, unless he gets home with lipstick on his shirt or something. He is the one who has to have conscience of what he is doing here. Cheating, betraying love, is one of the worst things that someone can do.
