  1. I'm impressed. I thought that was bloomin' brilliant. I really do like the techno-ish guitar part. It really works well with the rest. I do have to agree with the person above me, a bit of guitar or something at the start would have spiced up the intro nicely and really made it something special.
  2. I like the look of the 'hidden test' cheat. THe one this tutorial was about looks a bit dodgy. I wouldn't really want to risk it, I've nearly killed my computer enough times lately. I'm going to try out the 'hidden test' one right now, though.
  3. Making it a .txt file only would make it a LOT safer. Other than that it seems fine to me.If you did add a member login then perhaps you could add the abilty to open and edit already existing files. That would be very useful for someone who needs the ability to store and edit files on the web. I'd recommend adding a maximum file length as well, you wouldn't want someone to make a ridiculously long file which uses up all your webhost space.
  4. All of those products look very good. They all have multiple uses and if they are furthered then there is real potential for them. I'm especially impressed with Photosynth. It reminds me a bit of Sketchup, but more image oriented rather than design.
  5. The likely-hood of that actually happening is incredbily small, however, it's not entirely impossible. It might have happened. Without further evidence or information I wouldn't like to hazard a guess as to the truthful-ness, but I would say I consider it unlikely to have really happened.
  6. Um, I personally wouldn't advise your registry JUST to do something as unessential as this. If you edit the registry incorrectly you WILL majorly screw up your computer. Windows will probably never load properly, and chances are you will lose all your documents. The registry is what makes Windows run, it tells it everythign it needs to know, allows programs to run and is basically something you shouldn't edit for anything too unimportant, like this.
  7. If you want to have fun, then try Game Maker XP. It's free (although the paid for version has a few more features) and has an easy to use language called GML, or Game Maker Language.
  8. That's a very clever script. The principles behind it could be applied to a lot of other things as well. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished version of this script. I can't see any errors in it, although I'm not exactly God's gift to PHP
  9. I'm extremely impressed. The layout is clear and easy to read, the images are effective and fairly small, and the pages are organised logically. I like the colour scheme and it's impressively coded. It could, however, take a while to load for people with slower connections than mine. Enabling caching would make it better for people.
  10. That's pretty cool. I might have a look at those, see about installing one of them on my computer, although I may just go for Apache, simply because it has the most features and is the most known web server technology.
  11. I only use IE when I have to, like now while I'm on my school's computers. At home I only use Firefox. I find it's features (especially tabbed browsing) make it many times superior to IE. I also love the large base of add-ons you can download for it; I use about twenty different ones and after using them, I doubt I could cope not doing so.
  12. Although this is great for stopping people trying to install XP illegally, it's pretty crappy for people trying to install it legally. Really, I don't think you should even have to phone Microsoft up to get the un-installation-deactivation (if that makes sense XP) code. I hope they think of something a bit better next time.
  13. Although I couldn't see myself in particular marrying a robot, I can understand that in thirty plus years people might. If robot's become as sophisticated as humans with developed personalities and characteristics, the differences between human and robots which would impeed such a thing from happening now, would become defunct. Sure, some people will object to others marrying a piece of metal, silicon and hydrolic fluids, but others will welcome it, fully embracing the hance to marry someone who knows exactly how to care for them, what to do when they get ill and will (probably) never cheat on them.
  14. It's a programming language, but it can't be used independantly of an interpretor. It can be used to store data, but it can also be used to display data and content.
  15. Also, you might want someone you trust to try your website for security holes. If they find any, they should be able to tell you how to sort them out.
