how to install bitdefender on windows xp professional Windows Vista Sp1 Blocks Antivirus Programs I have been trying and searching for so long to install bitdefender total security 2008 on my computer and I am running it on windows xp professional. I cant findmy files.. How To Lock A Folder And Keep It Private I've downloaded programs which can hide and lock your folders/files. I installed them at that same day, and then lock some of my files and folders. I've deleted some of the programs, and then when I looked at my files I cant seem to find them. I already uninstall and deleted all the remaining programs but still I cant find my files. When I checked my main folder (I mean where my locked/hidden folders were) the size of it is still the same but when I opened it the folders werent showing. Removes Norton Ghost Norton 360 I really like Norton 360, but I'm pissed off that it removed all my Norton System Works Premier. I can understand removing the anti virus portion of it, but I no longer can use ghost which I used for all sorts of things, like backing up and cloning c drive after a complete windows install and all the main software I use already installed. I'd made complete system recovery DVD's for all my machines and other peoples as well. Now I don't have Ghost, I cant access those backups and ghost images anymore.

RE: Xampp And Wampp Questions Xampp And Wampp Questions I installed XAMPP today and I used DynDNS to set up my domain name... I'll try to explain it step by step, although I haven't worked all the kinks out (I'll explain at the end of the post): 1. Get XAMPP up and running (fairly easy, no real reason to explain here) 2. Open DynDNS in your browser, set up an account, click my services, and then Host Services. Once you do that, click Add Hostname. 3. Type in a name (I.E. ThisIsMyHostname.Subdomain.Com; you most likely won't find a domain for free) 4. I clicked wildcard (I think it has to do with virtual hosts, could be wrong) 5. Click Host with IP Address as your Service Type 6. Now this was the most frustrating part for me: the IP address field. For me, it auto-detected the wrong IP, and I'm fairly certain it is because I am behind a router. My solution was to run the ipconfig DOS command and look at where it says "IP Address." C:>ipconfig 7. Once you have the IP and have put that in, save your changes. I don't know about the last option, mail routing, so I just left it unchecked. Ok, so we are pointing our URL to the computer's IP address. Good. If all goes well, you should have a perfectly functioning web server to put your site on. Of course, in the computer world, you have to assume the worst. So, let's troubleshoot (THESE SOLUTIONS ARE FOR XAMPP ONLY): If you are having problems with setting a start page (I.E. Index.Html, the first page you want to look at when you type your URL in), go to your C:/xampp/htdocs folder and rename index.Php to something random, index.Php.Xyz. Just make it so index.Php doesn't get read (I believe that running it redirects the site to the setup folder). After that, you should be able to make everything normally. What if you are behind a router? People won't be able to connect from a computer outside your private network unless you port forward. (https://portforward.com/ is a good reference) (https://www.apachefriends.org/faq_windows.html) provides a list of ports that you will need. That should be all. Now, my problem is, although I have port forwarded, apparently external connections still time out. I have no idea why (I did port forward a huge range however. Maybe I should port forward each individual port?) Hopefully this helped a bit, if any. And if I'm wrong on some stuff, correct me, as I just started getting into web dev. You should have 12k lobsters then. Sell them at the GE for low price and you will get like 3.6M!then from lvl 76 fish shark till lvl 99.You should have like 100k shark and sell them for about 106M! together you should have about 109.6M! Give it another try! My Acrylic Nails Are Pretty Disappointing Hey I'm really sorry to hear that. I've never had acrylic nails but I've gotten them done at places (just painted, or French manicure/pedicure) and I learned that some people that work there speak more English then others. So, maybe you had this one bad experience but I wouldn't cross it out forever. Try another place, or maybe even just another person to do your nails. But, painting them yourself works okay too. The thing is, you have to be good with, both your right & left hand. It's hard for me to do them because I'm terrible with my left hand so it's hard to do my right hand. My suggestions to you are just to wiggle them and try to pry them off whenever possible. They'll eventually get loose. But, you should know that acrylics are meant to stay on for a very long time so it may take a while to come out. Hope it helped! ~Talia -reply by Talia
