How To Make Your Own Counter Strike Source Dedicated Server!
iGuest replied to AbdurahmanL's topic in General Discussion
Hi. I know this is old, but for anyone following, this IS a CS 1.6 server. Although it is the source updater thing it still downloads 1.6. That is why no one can find the srcds.exe, cause 1.6 doesn't have one. Also that is why the hl1 things are created. To make it right edit the batch file so it is '"Counter-Strike Source"' instead of 'cstrike' Make sure you use the quotation marks ( " ) arround Counter-Strike Source or it won't work because of the space.Hope I helped :)Ryan -

Hearing High Pitch Noise In My Head WHY does IT HAPPEN?
iGuest replied to Unregistered025's topic in Health & Fitness
Ok, not to sound bad or anything because I know you were trying to help but the loud noise is not the only reason for ringing in the head. I am a very quiet person, always have been. In fact I'm one of those people that can watch TV with it muted and still hear it. I have a ringing in my head very often and I have high blood pressure (hyper tension). The ringing is called tinnitus and can stem from many different causes. One big cause is over medicating... for instance if you take too many aspirin you will get that ringing or buzzing in your head. There are more reasons but saying that loud noise is the cause is not really true. Doing a little research on the internet can go a long way also because even though loud noise can be a cause, as I stated there are many causes from an ear infection to ...well psychiatric reasons such as depression and anxiety. -
If you wish to know the worlds fastest processor clock it isn't measured in Ghz. It is measured in something called Petaflops. This type of recording is much faster than any commercial processor will achieve any time soon. It is used for super computers and that is the only place you can currently find this speed

I use firefox browser and I have the same problem with the youtube page jumping back to the top when I am trying to scroll down to search for videos of interest. My screen does not do this with any other website; just Youtube's site. I would love to know how I can fix this problem because I am getting so annoyed with it that I am about to stop using Youtube altogether. I am sure there are other video sites similar to youtube's site that will work properly.

Steam: What A Load Of Crap! I wish I could download pirated games.
iGuest replied to rob86's topic in Computer Gaming
I also bought TW Shogun yesterday and have been experiencing the same some problems as yourself. Just uninstalled and re-installed steam this morning and the Shogun install is running of the disk not steam this time. Might be worth trying it again, but agree Steam is Crap. -
Super Member, since when is it illegal to transform your familiy movies made with your own camera in mov format to a format readable by other devices (eg. Tablet)? This just shows how the industry is hurting the rights of individuals and let people even start to believe that speaking about changing video formats is illegal...

It absolutely amazes me that doctors in America are held in such high regard. I've gone to tons of them for different problems and it was always the same experience. The doctors were always in a huge rush, didn't look like they particularly cared and just wanted to quickly solve my problem with some sort of pill. The pills doctors have given me have caused me so many side effects and have never worked. I'm then shocked at the huge amounts they charge. I always hear the same crap that they charge a lot because they went to school 10 years or more. Well so what they should get paid for results not because they memorized the name of every bone and muscle in the human body. What engineer gets paid a lot whose bridges collapse but he went to school 20 years? Its the only profession where you can shrug your shoulders say I don't know whats wrong with you but here's a pain killers and my bill.

I just want to add that I’m using a free account at byethost.com since 2009 and I think they offer a very good service for the price! I would like to point out that the first posts on this thread are from 2006... so things are completely different today, if that was ever the case at all (I have my doubts once all these users saying bad things about byethost.com end up advising the same competitor host company - I think each one should take its own conclusions about that...).I have to say though that the free service has its limitations: the PHP mail function is disabled, the 404 error page doesn't say the page cannot be found and shows the user service offers from byethost (or securesignup.net); and also on my case the Google ads didn't show up because of problems with the byethost subdomain I use - xxxxx.22web.net.Nevertheless, the free account as many good features too: completely ad free; nice control panel tool - VistaPanel; getting started tutorials; php & mysql enabled; and automatic script installer. All this and more for a price that can’t be beat, which looked perfect for someone like me, who was starting and learning the basics before launching my first website. I was satisfied to the point that I decided to migrate to a paid hosting and they even offered me a free domain to go along!Ricardo Silva

Steam: What A Load Of Crap! I wish I could download pirated games.
iGuest replied to rob86's topic in Computer Gaming
If I'd had the first clue that I'd be sitting here on Boxing Day, waiting for TW Shogun 2 to download all the guff from Steam, I'd have left it in the shop. I don't want to play online, multi-player, none of that stuff, I just want to play the game.As the previous poster says, it says nowhere on the packaging that you HAVE to download Gigs of files to get the game to work, it simply says an Internet connection and a free Steam account is required. Well, I have both of those, so I should be playing my game NOW, not waiting for files to download.I mean, what exactly was on the TWO DVD disks in the packaging? This is like the bad old days when I was a kid, sitting in front of the telly, listening to a cassette player squealing away whilst I waited for ZX Spectrum games to load. One difference, I'm in my forties now, and I have lots of real-life stuff to do, the small time slot I had to myself for relaxation is nearly over, and I've spent it staring at a screen again.Steam is a great name for this process, my dog lays things that steam out in the garden, and now I have to go and pick them up before my wife gets home. Cheers Steam, I'll try to avoid buying anything with your name on it again..."Outraged", Tonbridge Wells -
The Best Free Roaming Rpg? Suggestions needed.
iGuest replied to buherath's topic in Computer Gaming
does anyone know a, how can I describe it, almost modern day (free roaming if possible) RPG. By modern day I mean not really futuristic, but with out a fantasy element that plagues most RPGs (plagues is a bit strong but I am fed up with all RPGs being fantasy, or Fallout) Preferably relativly realistic and , possibly FPSThanksP.S. It had better be rated 15 or under (not sure what that is in america) -
I really like this virtual box software, i do use this in my ubuntu Operating System its just like host and guest system.where host would invite his/her guest for dinner or some other work.the guest operating system uses the stipulated configuration of the hardware specified in settings during the creation of the virtual Operating System and completes its work within the specified hardware requirements.

I used to play Coke Music every day all the way through elementary school. I bought so much coca cola for bottle caps to gain benefits and possibly secret furni as well as spent countless hours a day on that site viewing ads that they made money from promotion. It would be an intelligent business decision to bring it back under the guise of an improved game with the same original system of bottle cap codes to redeem for in-game benefits.I am sure you all would agree if you came back to post or this board was more active. If anybody knows of a similar game please e-mail me at Dub_En@yahoo.comNo habbo hotel, haha.

WolfQuest is my favorite, but you should really try FeralHeart. You can be a canine or a feline. It's 3D and it has lots of customization options, including size and abnormal colors. Then you go into this huge world and you can join an RP, or just wander around! http://www.feral-heart.com/

Our struggle to comprehend time and all of it's components can be attributed in part to the present development of the human brain. I suspect the human brain is still capable of much more than it is now, and will continue to evolve. In addition our language also restricts our ability to understand what we observe. We can only define what we can put into words, or perhaps more accurately, we cannot define very much more than what we can manage to put into words. I am aware some people are capable of relaying information through music. But not being so inclined myself, I cannot comment on it's limitations or lack thereof. Math seems to be the most comprehensive way we can define the most complicated of things. But still, our understanding is limited to our ability to employ math. We have yet to discover all of which math has to offer. So, we have yet to be able to comprehend all of which we can observe or imagine. The restriction of language I can only poorly attempt to explain with the following example. And this may be a weak example, but it's the best I can do..... " This time I will be able to explain time to you without having a hard time of it. "I have used the word 'time' three different times, ( heh, 4? ) and each time ( argh ), and each instance of it's usage has a different meaning, but identical spelling and pronunciation. I can attempt to reiterate the above sentence without using the word 'time' redundantly, but approach the present limits of my particular brain.... " This attempt I will be able to explain 'Time' without having a difficult instance of it ". Now that is poor grammer. Not my strong point. Let me clean that up a bit. " At this particular moment I will be able to explain to you the definition of 'time' without difficulty.... Alright, I was better able to communicate my meaning by employing a greater command of my language. But I hope I have illustrated my point. We are restricted to understand and define to ourselves and others what we observe and imagine by the complexity of communicative processes. All of that being said, I originally thought that time really didn't exist. And it may still not, my comprehesion of it is tentative at best. We use days, months, and years relative to us only on Earth in this solar system as a unit of measurment of the passage of 'time'. And it is not a concrete thing, like a 'concrete' noun. It is more of an abstract thing, exactly like an 'abstract' noun. It has no substance to itself, it really doesn't exist. Confusing and contradictory. I know. Like I said, the limits of the human brain, ( mine specifically ) and that of my adeptness with my chosen form of communication. Which is written English. But I struggle at all times ( again with that word, there is no avoiding it! ) as I expect we all do in all things to put it, or imagine it, and everything we contemplate, much more simply. Building from my very rudimentary understanding that velocity and distance effects ( affects? ) our measurment of the passage of time. I think time is nothing more than a unit of measurment itself, that defines the relationship between velocity and distance. Now I suspect I'm missing something here. Matter. I think I have left matter out of the equation.Time is the unit of measurment used to define the relationship between the velocity of matter over distance.?.... It has no beginning nor and end, no more than a 'pound' does as a unit of measurment to define gravity. Where does a pound begin?, where does a pound end?. Doesn't make sense, because it isn't effectively applicable. So you can't apply a begining or an end to time, any more than you can say a pound starts at 1 oz, or 1 gram, or 1 nanogram, or an even smaller measurment until we enter a new discusion about how long you can split something in half, and then half again, and in half once more, and half of that. Though a pound clearly has an end. Perhaps I'm completely wrong, or perhaps that is just a bad example. But that's the extent of my ability to explain my undertanding of Time, at this time. ':-)

Hey all. I found this thread when I did a google search and I was wondering if somebody here could tell me of a way to rip the music from GTA: Episodes from Liberty City. Specifically the music on the Self-Actualization channel. I am running a Windows 7 PC if that matters.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
