I personally think that metallica's version of "Turn The Page" originally done by Bob Seger is crap compared to the original... I love how Bob Seger sings it. Probably because he did it first and he did it better...IMO Later, J. (TS)

As I mentioned before. Members will be able to select from a variety of colours with the same over all style. There are currently six different colours to choose from. But only members will be able to pick which they will see. The default colour is my personal favorite. As for my forum being pretty much empty, that's because I'm still developing and modifying things so that it is more user-friendly and admin/mods have a better control over the overall forum... Wrong, and wrong. 'Hackers' are nothing like what the media seems to enjoy portraying them as. And no offense, but I think that those who fit your idea of 'hackers' have better things to do than go around creating folders on your computer.

Before posting a tutorial, please make sure that it meets a few basic requirements: The spelling is as accurate as possible. The language used is as understandible as possible. As few slang acronyms as possible are used - eg. avoid things like 'IMO', 'LOL', 'FYI', 'BTW', etc. Absolutely NO 'short-hand' is used - eg. 'u'='you', 'r'='are', '2'='to'/'too', 'c'='see', etc. It is in English. It's not everyone's first language, but I would assume that most people here can speak it - and it's the only audible human language that I know. It isn't copied from somewhere else. This means copying and editing to make it look like yours, or just directly copy-and-pasting it from another site (or anywhere else) - no forms of plagiarism will be tolerated at Xisto, for ethical, legal, and quality reasons. It was originally written by you. Make sure all quotes/other excerpts are rightfully referenced to the original author/piece of work. It is too something real and relevent. We don't want a step-by-step guide to collecting rocks from the surface of Mars. It is of relative quality, that someone might actually find useful. Stick to these basic guidelines - plus any reasonable additions you can come up with - and you should be on the way to writing a great tutorial.

Whoa, slow down. Take a deep breath. You wanted to subscribe to a topic, so you mean you wanted to be notified of any new posts to that thread so you could keep updated? You noticed that there was only print this post, no email this post or track this topic? If you can point out which thread(s) you are talking about, I'll look into it. I got a starter's package. However, I noticed that my number of posts reduced. I think -10. So it reduces, when you order a package, right?How about upgrading to standard package, do I need to post 40 or 50 posts? 40 because I already made previous 10 posts from my starter's package? You many not have uploaded all files correctly or they havn't uploaded properly. You may not hav also edited any files correctly or missed editing any files.Recheck all of the above!(by the way im not sure if u hav 2 edit any files for mambo, dont know much about it either)

1.If you mean the phpnuke you uploaded doesn't install properly it can be because:*You havn't created a database for you r phpnuke*You havn't edited your config.php properlySO your nuke file can't communicate with your database correctly.2.If you are meaning you can't install phpnuke via cpanel addon script you may just need to retry .Im not sure which one of these two applies to you?? Please explain your self or tell us how you are installing phpnuke. (eg. via cpanel or uploading a nuke package)

Did you upload to your site soemwhere in the public_html folder??? Because if you didn't you wont be able to view your files through your browser. E.g: I wanna veiw index.php thorough my browser I upload index.php using my ftp to public_html/site/index.php So now I can view it thorugh my browser at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I dunno if thats wat happened 4 u puppy but try it out if u think u did it wrong

Hey all, I have just recently switched my browser over to the FireFox browser by Mozilla and ran into a problem with it. Apparently it does not support word-wrapping at all. I was just wondering if anyone knows how to script a table with a fixed width so that if you had one very long word, it would put the BR in where it's needed, instead of overflowing the table or expanding the table out of preportions? Most deffinately. This topic has been going on for days now with no one getting any use out of the thing... I'm surprised one of the Mods or the Admin hasn't locked it or something. It's now basically everyone repeating themselves for those who refuse to quit complaining about everyone else's sigs. I figured that much. What I'm looking for is auto thumbnail generation on the fly. I've use perl script (album.pl) which can create the thumbnails on the fly when the page in viewed. And it does it through the tmp folder. But I don't like the layout for album.pl. So I'm in hunt for php image gallery

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about IPB... I only use phpBB2 Forums. If you want more help on changing the style of your forum, you should check their site. Most forum sites have tutorials that will help you with that... Sorry I couldn't be much help, J. (TS)

During the downtime today, the home page kept working. It was just the forums.And all that time, I kept refreshing the home page in the hope of any news about the downtime on home page. But it never happened. Even now when the forums are back online, there is no news about this neither on home page nor on any forum news.

Your poll should be which server side web language.Anyways, I vote for PHP. Have tried php and perl. Perl is good for script to run on a u/linux server (like bat files). But for web, php is better

Same is the case with sleep on new MS keyboards. It has a sleep button on top right. Although my computer does recovers fine from sleep, But its just my kid who loves to press that button (to get my attention) . I would like that button to be programable.

Actually I don't have a liscenced copy of ps at work on my machine. I don't even do graphics or anything like that for work. Its intalled on _a_ machine at work, which I have access to. I hope it doesn't voilate the liscense terms.
