Configuring ICS with Static IP address on Vista BasicInternet Connection Sharing ProblemsReplying to gnubugDear Gnubug,Read your expert guide on troubleshooting network connectivity on "Xisto".I'd like your expert advise over configuring internet connection sharing on NIC card attached to a cable via wireless NIC card. The purpose is to share wired internet connection configured with static IP address over a wi-fi medium.Now here's the scenario: I've two NIC card wired and wireless(802.11g) on the laptop.Wired NIC card has a local static IP address and cannot be changed otherwise no access to the internet. Now I would like to share internet connection of that static IP address via Wireless NIC card. In other words I am looking to make my laptop into a wifi-hotspot, which would rebroadcast signals to wi-fi enabled devices like ipod touch, laptops.I've tried everything here from Microsoft Vista help site to technical blogs and still failed to turn my laptop into a hotspot.Please help, I cannot sleep until I find a solution to this problem.Thanks in advance.. -reply by larry wang

Printing problems with Office 2007Office 2007 Document ProblemsHi, After installing Office 2007 last year, I suddenly experienced random printing problems. In Excel the page often prints only the second vertical half of the page, right from the edge of the paper, leaving the right side of the paper blank. It also sometimes happens in Word. external Harddisk is locked by Bitlocker in win 7 and unable to unlockHard Drive Lock Problem ?hiiiiiiiiI am using dell inspiron 1525 and dual os one is win 7 and other is ubuntu 9.10. I lock the seagate 1TB external Harddisk by using bitloacker.I save the "usrkey" in a flash drive.Accidently some one format the flash drive.But I succeed to fine the "48-digit" recovery key.There is no such option to ask password when I connect HD.When I use recovery key to get back data it take lot of time ans system hangs.My all important data in my HD.Please tell me how can I get my data back and use the HD.Thanks in Advance -reply by Ronald

Nod32 Is my choiceNOD32 vs. Kaspersky: Which Is Better?I like Kass pretty well but it is a bit heavy on the pc. I used and tested alot of the av's before I bought one. Kass was one on my top list but it did not detect as much as nod32 did in my test but it did find some that nod32 did not but nod also found some kass did not. Overall thoe Nod32 faired the best and its light on my pc So I recommend it over all. But if you buy kass you will be protected pretty well. -reply by George Caldwell

Crapy ChaseChase-good Example Of Bad Bankingits not a question of spending even...I asked chase in NJ how to close my accounts with them as I was leaving the country and there was no money on them anyway...Was told that they would automatically close down after a few months of non-usage...This did not happen. It turns out according to them that I had 50 dollars on my debit card account. Tried taking it out from an EU ATM, but it dint work... So I waited. Some months ago I figured they were charging me over $50 per year for this stupid points program they have, which was not originally explained to me and wasn't in the documents I signed, so now that they have charged this $50 this year...My account should be well closed. I have no idea however if this is the case, since I haven't been receiving bank statements for a while in Europe and have not been able to access my on-line account with crappy Chase for over an year after one of their web-site, database breakdowns that happens ever so often. Only thing I'm worried about now and cant seem to verify is if they have kept my account opened charging me more and more overdraft fees for an year and half now since I left the states/created by them charging me fees I did not agree to instead of me spending anything/ .I wouldn''t put it past them. Sims 2 Body shop?The Sims 2 BodyshopI keep making clothes and genetics for my sims in Sims 2 Body Shop, then when I transfer the genetics or clothes to my game it works fine, but then when I go to my game to use the new clothes, I go to create a sim mode and I don't see any new clothes or genetics available a.K.A. The new ones I added from Sims 2 Body Shop. Can anyone help? Thanks!P.S. Reorganize blog/ to .blogWordpress On SubdomainsI installed wp and all is set up as domain.Com/blog how ever I needed to set up subdomains for other reasons and so seems like I should keep uniform so I am trying to switch to blog.Domain.Com...The site is working fine with the subdomain but everything still says domain.Com/blog and I want it to say blog.Domain.Com...What am I missing...Do I need to do a complete reinstall?
