A homey! Kamusta? I wish I could create something as great as that! What a pretty webpage. (And what a pretty dog. Yours? I couldn't even get a pic of my cat on. All I get is a red cross. Pffft!)

There are a lot of tools out there for creating your own custom toolbars, although I have no experience with any of those tools. I have some idea behind how they would be created, although I haven't worked on a graphic web browser, only lynx, but it's not much different from creating toolbars for window/frontend programs. It would require experience in (D)COM programming. - (Distributed) Component Object Model, most general purpose languages can work well (personally I would use C++ as it's the language I know, but Java, VB, etc can do this too) and maybe ActiveX (for IE, but not necessary).I think you'll be better off trying out the tools for making this, just search for "creatie custom toolbar" in google and you should see a number of sites useful to you and hopefully provide a means of creating what you want. (hopefully free of charge).Cheers,MC

I know about the MFC but from actually having products of MS, although if you want portability there are a number of options, of which will work with Dev-Cpp since I too use that as an IDE when writing programs on Windows with portability in mind. The only place I remember that had a model skeleton of the MFC classes at work was winprog.org/com/something.Currently I'm using the fox-toolkit but the developer makes too many frequent updates, that he should provide patches instead of the full-blown download again since a lot of the errors are just missing lines out of the header files, etc. I wrote a Notepad clone for Linux to test fox-toolkit out and it was exceptional, except the bloated, 120% the size of Notepad but it's something you have to live with if you want your source to be portable across different platforms.I know Dev-Cpp has a package for it, but I think it's outdated. There's also wxWidgets (formerly known as wxWindows), which might be more to your liking as it's not hard for MFC programmers to grasp it's concept as it's pretty similar to MFC.I suggest you try wxWidgets, or you could look into fox-toolkit, which does require a bit more and you definitely need to read the documentation, over and over until it sinks in.Cheers,MC

There is no such thing as a free whm. The most you'll be able to find would be a demo of some sort.

Don't laugh, okay? I'm so new at this and I need help on how to add meta-tags to my site. That is, how do I get search engines to point to my site when my name is typed in Google or Yahoo! Search?I use FrontPage 2000 and I'm self-taught. So, please talk me thru, if you would be so kind. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, they are PHP files... and he, not she

Actualy, if you want to learn PHP in the right way, you shouldn't use any precoded stuff. I don't think, that creating basic forum is hard. Some SQL table and few forms are enought AFAIK.

I'm a terrible newbie so I stumbled through FrontPage to create this. My original one used an FP theme--but the elements wouldn't go online with the rest of the page when I tried to publish! So, I simplified everything based on a design a very kind person from another forum suggested. I tried to make it look professional. I wish I could put those shadowed button thingies on (or whatever you call them LOL!). I dunno, what do you think? http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Thanks!
