That's nothing. You should check out the xbox page on gamefaqs.com. They have so much forums, including for each game. They also have a general page for each system. They had many thousands on at times, and it gives lots of help if you need any. As long as you don't type illiterately, people will respond. It's a nice community as long as you know the rules. I've been there for about 4 years or so, and the site gets better and better. Try it out sometimes. It's much more reliabe than other forums/boards about games.

Supreme Court Rules Against P2p Sharing
iGuest replied to vizskywalker's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Most p3p programs like Kazaa and Limewire will be the ones that can likely get affected by this ruling. Something like bittorrent stands in a different p2p program style, but maybe one day that too will be in court. First it was music, from Napster and sorts, now it's p2p programs. They really are making their way to jail these illegal distribution waves. -

Installing Photoshop 7 On A Second Computer
iGuest replied to jrdonjar0591's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I have to disagree with the Setup file needed. (sorry guys)I know what you're talking about with the setup files, but this is just a program that installs the files to the drive and registers it within the registry file, but we can do without it and if you look at my method of installing it on Linux, you'll definitely find how you can do the same thing with Windows without the installation CD (which was my first method). Just make sure you correct the registry with your computer's program locations. You may need to grab additional .dll files from your Windows System folder, but I never needed to for Linux (or did I?) but it will complain about which files are missing, so you'll just need to grab them and make sure they're in the right location, accessible to the program. This method described works for most programs without a setup file, just make sure you locate the correct registry locations for the file and you're set. However, what you're doing is considered, need I say... but do what you like, most people do anyways.Cheers,MCP.S. I believe Photoshop 8 is out, but I'm a GIMP user now. -
The thing is, everyone has different needs and ideas, each from basic to quite complex, and I feel a lot of people reach for the complexity of it all, before understanding the basics.PHP is quite a powerful language yet it doesn't mean you should try to harness it's power straight away, you'll learn more of it's power the more you explore it. HTML is the language shown to a web browser, PHP is just an addon to give you additional methods of sending HTML to the browser, more than likely, something that is dynamic. PHP is by no means a replacement for HTML.Start with the basics, learn how to display your current date on your page. What you will realise from this is that Server-Side languages rely on your Server's settings, so the date will most likely not be in your timezone unless you're in the same timezone. So you'll need to calculate how you can alter the date to reflect your own.Learn variables and strings/arrays and how you can manipulate it's data, and how you can display it.Learn File I/O operations, write files, append files, display files, etc.The best thing with learning a new language is to have an idea of what you want to get out of it. Lets say you wanted to display the date on your page, how will you go about this? The best option is to search php.net's documentation on anything date related, here you'll learn different techniques of displaying the date. From trial and error you'll pick up what you'll need from it. If you really do start having difficulty then do feel free to ask but always suggest what your goal will be, if people understand what you're aiming for it's easier than to show code and expect them to know what you're attempting, especially since there is multiple ways of writing the same code. Now that you've learnt something simple about the date, why not work on making a calendar and displaying that?Just get into the thinking process, think of the things you want to do, don't make it too complex till you fully grasp the basics of it.I wouldn't start with writing a spreadsheet file in PHP without first understanding the basics of file input/output operations or even how spreadsheet files are actually formatted. You'll even need to know about string manipulation, variables, objects, etc.Always have a goal in mind, this is to help your learning process and to achieve the most out of what you want. Things that are the hardest to come to grips with is how efficient and secure your code is, there's really no solution to this other than you figuring out the best method and getting help from others. Eventually you'll start writing efficient code, but for now, try writing code that does the particular job you wanted, then work on fixing it.Another thing is, always keep snippets of your code, and name them suitably to what they do and always heavily comment them, so that you can always look at them and realise what they actually do, especially if you've not looked at that code for some time. You may also later on, figure out better ways of actually writing those snippets when you discover new methods. You may later use your snippets to write your very own library of useful code that you could use to easily develop your websites.Cheers,MCP.S. To install your own web server with PHP, MySQL and more, download XAMPP from https://www.apachefriends.org/index.html, saves you the hassle of your own installation, but use XAMPP as a learning point of how to install each individual package, this was the very first method I did. I used PHPHome at the time, but I found XAMPP more feature packed. From here, I got the basic understandings of how to install each individual package, and in what order too, I did write a tutorial on here about installing individual packages, but it disappeared and my notes for it is located somewhere on one of my backup CDs so if I do ever come across it, I'll post it back on here.

This is pretty neat. Yeah, it seems that only the US zip code will let you do it though. Lucky me Anyways, I'm gonna pass this around to others too if they haven't seen it yet.

The Source has beautiful graphics, the environment very realist and worked well, the physical motor is taken well in account, but I like CS 1.6 because I always have fun with , i play it all the time , and i well playd in the future , it is my better FPS . enjoy ! go - go - go !!!
-
This really has to do with if you have a better computer or not that is capable of handling Source. Even though Counter Strike Source's timing was perfect in my opinion, the only problem was that people who've played CS 1.6 and below, didn't need a high end computer to play it. Mainly the problem I see is people don't have videocards strong enough to get at least 30 frames per second. I would be playing my Source a lot more, if I had a better videocard, but I don't have one at the moment so mine can only take me to about 20, and much less when I'm in fire fights or smoke. The good thing is videocards get cheaper after awhile like games, so once that happens, more people will likely be coming over to play source, and then one day even 1.6 might be known as a classic of the golden age like Tetris Another thing is, people aren't home as often anymore. Some go to pubs, even though they have a great computer at home! If I had to choose, I'd rather play it at home if I had a decent computer that can play it. I'd also choose 1.6 if it means it'll save me 200 bucks from buying a videocard that can give me at least 60 fps. But I really think more people will start playing Source soon once videocards that can handle it are cheaper.

http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Here's a video that's funny it's very well done. It has to do with a kid who's been playing too much counter strike, and now he's in the game himself. If you look closely, you'll see some known glitches on the actual game that's like this. Also, look how he holds the gun, I was laughing because at the beginning he wasn't able to put the gun down since the game is like that. Some other notices are the hostages and the camper terrorists with duals. This is a very well done video and hope you guys like it haha.

Well, I don't have much time these days, so I'm always around a computer, or away from my house. So the DS is very handy at that time since I can play it where ever I am at with it's long batteries. When I'm home, I have the PSP and can do whatever I want on that, or I can play console games, but I've beaten all my console games, and currently waiting until December to go shopping spree with about 700 bucks So yeah, buy whichever is more 'con-ve-ient' for you. PSP for home, DS when your away. Or if you're the showoff type, buy a PSP and a movie everyone likes, and that'll impress them I think I'm the only one that bought a PSP when it came out among my friends, and one of the few who bought a DS, but it's very fun to play wifi with others, it makes the game more fun that way.

I think this time around Nintendo will do it right though. Before they went with those mini dvds, which they could've went with a normal dvd at least, and that would enable them to also play dvd movies like the other two major consoles. Nintendo's licking its wounds, and building up from that lesson it learnt, that's why it's going with dvds now.If Nintendo gets this right, the Revolution might just stand a chance this time around, I even believe it'll be almost equal competition for the XBox360 if the effort is well put. It's still likely that the PS3 will be the major leader again, but as long as Nintendo tries this time with this Revolution, I think we can see a brighter future for this console. Another good feature of it is backwards compatibility. I was thinking of buying both PS3 and Revolution, and the new Zelda coming out looks very nice, and since my Gamecube is getting old and very very bad, I'm happy Revolution is doing what the other two companies are doing, and what the Nintendo DS did, have backwards compatibility. Now hopefully we see more games like this on the Revolution, including old favorites like Metroid, Mario, Smash Brothers, and etc.

thnk you Rejected, Moody, iceblade, & warbird , you mean that the revolution is going to be a revolution in gaming , I am in a hurry to see the result of the nintendo

I choose the PSP because it has the better deal when you compare it. The PSP has 16.77 million colors, while the DS has only 260,000 colors. That's a big difference when you think about it. The DS has the touch pad idea, which is a pretty neat thing and is never seen in much games at all, but the PSP has the ability to play UMD movies, also play it straight out of your memory stick, which can be very cheap in saving money from buying a movie. The proccessor clock speed for the psp is Processor 1-333MHz, while the DS is at 67MHz only. That's about 5 times more almost. The good thing about the DS is that you can play Gameboy Advance games, which is a nice addition so you don't have to switch over to another system to play another type of cartiridge. The DS also lasts longer in battery life, but it's unlikely I'll be playing the PSP outside or far from an outlet really. The games on the PSP and DS are quite the same, and that they both have their own types of enjoyable ones. So I can't really say anything about the games except that it depends on itself. So if you're in for some very nice graphical games with intense gameplay, choose the PSP. If you're in for the family oriented games with the new style of a touchpad screen, the DS! I have both so I'm not reallly complaining

Not only am I looking forward to Diablo Three, but also Starcraft Two. These two titles are something to look forward from Blizzard, and for some, Warcraft is something expected.I wonder how the games would look with updated graphics and gameplay. It would be awesome I bet.

Live Journal Or Myspace? Which is more addicting.
iGuest replied to fillrbnny's topic in Websites and Web Designing
MySpace of course, but here's some reasons why I went with MySpace over Live Journal.1)Lots of help and lots of people to talk to about basically anything.2)All my friends use MySpace, and they find it a good way to talk to their friends without having to pay anything but the electric bill.3)The coding is easy and since everyone helps you when you need it, you won't be lost once you get used to the site. 4)This is only me, but I love seeing the little red envelope telling us someone left you a message. It feels nice seeing it. -
Psp Becoming A Mobile Porn Console?
iGuest replied to Tommy1405241497's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I think the Korean PSP can do a little more with their official PSP WEB BROWSER, but hopefully we get our hands on an official one that can go a bit faster, and can play online avi files. There's homebrew programs that can play avi, but not avi online. Oh well, one day ! -
The main reason I came here was because it's a great addition to Myspace. After people check out myspace, they see it leads to my hosting. The bandwidth is also very good so it can really be helpful when I need to put something up where I can't fit anymore.I do not mind putting ads in my hostings and stuff. But paying is hard since it'll most likely use money order or paypal, and it's a hassle to get those unless I get a money order about a month early since I'm very busy and don't have the time to leave work, and my only source is a computer there. So yeah, in the future it might be okay, but for now ads will be just right.

Psp Becoming A Mobile Porn Console?
iGuest replied to Tommy1405241497's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Haha, of course it's bad acting! I hate those porn movies where they have like a story behind what they are doing, and why they have to do this. I rather watch it raw and nothing more :/ (Too much info huh ) Thing is, for THOSE WHO WANT TO SEE IT, they now have a new way of seeing it. Don't forget though, without porn, many types of tapes and sorts (Like DVD, Videocassette, etc.) wouldn't have been popular without it. That's why that one beta casette thingy was not a big hit and failed. So yeah, if porn helps the industry and the system, let it be so. Just means better firmware and and sorts in the near future for us. -
My favorite is Final Fantasy Eleven. I love how you can combine two class abilities, and a ranger mixed paladin is my strongest. They both are at about 70 right now too! This was also the first MMORPG I've ever played, and it was the best one yet. I don't even have to play the storyline, I can just go around and talk to others, socialize with them and sorts, and these people are fun to chat with. Also, when I first started, I got lots of help from just random people! Like this one guy, he said he'll help me with my money problems, and teach me some basics, so I don't get blacklisted and sorts. He also gave me so much money! When I got to like level 20, he started joining me in quests with his underclasses. Now we're like about the same, and we camp a lot for Nightmare monsters. I love this game, and I hope others can enjoy this experience because it's really worth the 13 dollars a month deal. I'll continue to play this until a new Final Fantasy Online game comes out, and then I'll play this game from time to time until all my friends join up with me on the new Final Fantasy.I rate the game 10/10 since it gives you the greatest experience ever to talk, play games, and especially have some awesome fun.

Building A Budget Gaming Pc how would you build a gaming pc?
iGuest replied to discharges's topic in Software
Alright, here's something I don't get from this AMD talk. How is AMD the best for gaming? I don't know the specific details of the processor, but from all the talk I've heard on boards, I'm quite curious as to how it's the best? I'm not going against it or anything of course, just want to know Speaking of videocards, would a refurbished videocard be ok to buy? It says it has a warranty of 1 year or they'll refund your money and give you 5% off the next new item that you buy. It's a GForce 6600GT 256MB, and it's about 290 right now. And as you know I won't say where it's from or else it'll be sold out fast. One last thing, what's a good price on a 140-180gig hard drive? Hopefully they don't cost that much. Thanks a lot for the help if there is any. -
Protect Your Site Or suffer the consiquences
iGuest replied to iGuest's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Oh wow, I can't believe these guys are doing this out of fun. I seriously hope these virus spreaders are warned or caught, because I don't want my sites to be down because of hackers and viruses finding the slightest opening to go thru and take control. There needs to be some great programs that can help. -
Actually, I'm more interested in the Metal Gear series. It looks awesome and was probably the funniest trailer for the ps3.

Psp Becoming A Mobile Porn Console?
iGuest replied to Tommy1405241497's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Oh yeah, and with the game Wipeout, you can basically go online, and online has more porn so it's already a system that can play it haha.
