5. You don't need to have the flash communications server running on your desktop PC. All you need is an actual server, sometimes the same box as your web server if the load isn't that great, where you install the latest version of the flash communications server, while Josh_JPN's tutorial is based around FCS 1.5 the same features are usually available in the latest version as well, along with more improved systems and faster response times. What you do need to be wary off is if your web host provides FCS or if you have access to get it installed, as at the moment I have no idea how flash security works when targeting an FCS server on a different domain or IP address.-Knightcon

 15. There are two ways to do this. The first is the 'proper' syntax - the second requires a new class:<STYLE type="text/css">input[type=text] {width: 300px;background-color: cyan;}input.text {width: 300px;background-color: yellow;}</STYLE><FORM><input type="text"><br><input class="text" type="text"><br><input type="text"><br><input type="submit"></FORM>

 19. Many websites rely on information from other websites to run. This is fine when it comes to text, but when using images, most webmasters don't like you hotlinking their pictures. Hotlinking is when you place an image on your website that is not stored on your website. This uses up the image host's bandwidth, which is something they don't like! So, how would you go about putting an image on without hotlinking? Well, you could download it from the website, and upload it ont your own, but this is time consuming, and many websites have dynamically updating content, which means you wouldn't be able to. We're going to create a script that'll show any image, without hotlinking! Simple version: This version simply gets the image off the site, and displays it. Place this script in a new .php page. To access the image, you can go to page.php?url=image_url. (Where page.php is the ppage the script is on, and image_url is the full url of the image you want to display (including http://) <?phpheader('(anti-spam-(anti-spam-content-type:)) Image/PNG');//Tells the browser to display this file as a png format image$url = $_GET['url'];//Sets the variable $url to whatever was in the ?url= parameter$image = imagecreatefromgif($url);//Gets the image at $url, and stores it in the variable $imageimagePNG($image);//Writes the image at $image onto the page?> Complex version: This version is the same as the simple version, except it's designed to let you add things onto the image, e.g. a frame, watermark, etc. <?phpheader('(anti-spam-(anti-spam-content-type:)) Image/PNG');$url = $_GET['url'];list($width, $height) = getimagesize($url);//creates a list of variables, and sets them to the width and height of the image at $url$extimage = imagecreatefromgif($url);//Stores the image at $url in the variable $extimage$image = imagecreate($width, $height);//Creates a new image, where the width and height is the same as $url's width and height$transparency = imagecolorallocate($image, 1, 1, 1);imagecolortransparent($image, $transparency);//Sets a colour for the background, and makes it transparent. Hopefully this colour (#010101) does not occur in the image at $url. If it does, those parts of the image will appear transparent.imagecopy($image, $extimage, 0, 0, 0, 0, $width, $height);//This places a copy of the image at $url into $image//Any other code, for anything you may want to add to the image should go hereimagePNG($image);?> If you get content dynamically from a website that may contain images, and you want to use this script with it, you can use the following code: $string = str_replace('<img src="', '<img src="page.php?url=', $string); (Where $string is the text dynamically taken from the page, and page.php is the page where the image script is located) P.S. Inside the headers, it says "(anti-spam-(anti-spam-(anti-spam-content-type:)))". Take out the '(anti-spam-' and the ')'. The forum changes it, for some reason.

I then unzipped them and tried to to drag them into my calculator, but when I click the games from my program window. All that happens is the name of the game + the letters prgm before it show up in my normal window. By normal window I mean the window where I do my basic calculations. I don't know what an OS is or a mirage and I'm not using one with my calculator.
 23. Acidify, I note that you brag about how smart you are that you were not led by the nose by the "chimp" in the whitehouse who somehow "fooled" millions of people.Yet, as to the facts I note you do not cite any facts whatsoever as to how many were massacred by Saddam. Likewise you also say that Americans are kiling more then Saddam ever did, again with no evidence.some facts for your enlightenment;Iraq / Iran War:The bloody eight-year war ended in a stalemate. There were hundreds of thousands of casualties, perhaps upwards of 1.7 million died on both sides. Both economies, previously healthy and expanding, were left in ruins.Casualties Iran- Est. 500,000+ soldiers/militia killed or wounded Iraq- Est. 375,000+ soldiers/militia killed or wounded Iranian and Iraq Civilians killed/wounded = 100 to 200 hundred thousand as best could be estimated.http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ the 1986 Anfal campaign, the Iraqi government destroyed about 4,000 villages in Iraqi Kurdistan The Iraqi government executed approximately 182,000 men, women, and children.1,754 schools destroyed to,450 mosques destroyed 27 churches destroyed 270 hospitals destroyed 75% of villages in the region were wiped out.Sources:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/; The 1988 Anfal campaignViolation of Human rightsThe campaigns of 1987-1989 were characterized by the following gross violations of human rights:a) mass summary executions and mass disappearance of many tens of thousands of non-combatants, including large numbers of women and children, and sometimes the entire population of villages;the widespread use of chemical weapons, including mustard gas and the nerve agent GB, or Sarin, against the town of Halabja as well as dozens of Kurdish villages, killing many thousands of people, mainly women and children;see) the wholesale destruction of some to,000 villages, which are described in government documents as having been "burned," "destroyed," "demolished" and "purified," as well as at least a dozen larger towns and administrative centers (nahyas and qadhas); Since 1975, some 4,000 Kurdish villages have been destroyed by the Former Iraqi Regime.d) By the most conservative estimates, 50,000 rural Kurds died during Anfal alone. Middle East Watch has documented three cases of mass executions in late 1988; in one of them, 180 people were put to death.e) Army engineers even destroyed the large Kurdish town of Qala Dizeh (population 70,000) and declared its environs a "prohibited area," removing the last significant population center close to the Iranian border.http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ War:Some 175,000 Iraqis were taken prisoner and casualties were estimated at approximately 20,000 according to U.S. data, with other sources pinning the number as high as 100,000.100,000 excess deaths - estimated in the September 2004 Lancet survey of mortality before and after the 2003 invasion of Iraq; The Iraq Body Count project counts between 43,269 and 48,046 civilian deaths reported in major media through September 1, 2006. ( By whom you seem unconcerned and unmoved in piety)Post Gulf War 1991Iraq's ethnic and religious divisions, together with the resulting postwar devastation, laid the groundwork for new rebellions within the country. In the aftermath of the fighting, social and ethnic unrest among Shi'a Muslims, Kurds, and dissident military units threatened the stability of Saddam's government. Uprisings began in the Kurdish north and Shi'a southern and central parts of Iraq, but were ruthlessly repressed. In 2005 the BBC reported that as many as 30,000 persons had been killed during the 1991 uprising

 25. I'm having a similar problem with an entirely different setup. I'm running Filezilla server on a cable connection with just a linksys between the modem and the computer. When I access my files locally via File and Printer Sharing, they load quickly. When I try to FTP into that system locally, it's very slow. When I access the FTP remotely, however, it's fast. It's very strange.-kevinthenerd
