When you go to add and remove programs, click on the "change" option and choose remove all. Norton has a habit of failing to uninstall completely if you choose "remove". If this is the issue, and you have locked it in a partially removed state, go to Symantec support and download the symantec software removal tool. It will get the remnants of the program out of your pc. I recommend bitdefender or zone labs to my clients. They are low system profile programs and exceptionally good. I'm also having the same problem in my lappy but the drive is opening & closing so that I can put cd's in da drive. May be its a problem with windows vista or may be a problem due to any new virus that my anti-virus couldn't detect. okie...... The fatc that India will rise up is so far-fetched. First of all, flash cant load external scripts dynamically, but can load at compile time. Just write the code AS in an external file (viz myScript.as) and load it by the code #include "myScript.as" (Flash simply replaces that line wwith the code frm file).
