I've found another theory about 420 after Google search.. http://www.snopes.com/language/stories/420.asp Similar to yours, the article did mentioned about Hitler born on 20th April. The thing is, it's just a normal day like others. Why is it so special or to be noticed?

Actually it's happening to me as well. But it will still update your statistics log still every 2-3 days or even more. The statistics were used to update every few minutes. That could be a configuration that the administrators of the servers to save resources and bandwidth for the rest of the users.

Since it's beta, they have the rights to do whatever they want to the software. Although it's annoying to see changes every now and then, you are sure to be among the first to experience the new features of MSN 8 which many doesn't have the chance. I'm getting jeolous of you because I love glass effects with 3D glowing graphics which you can get to experience now. I'm not downloading the beta because I think it's not yet stable. I'd rather use an older version. At least it proved far lesser bugs and better stability than the one on beta.

I've compared this design with the previous design, and I prefer the previous one. It's too grayish-white on the top left. Try lower down the white tones and put more reflective black features like the detail on the right of the logo. The background should still say at the back, but strong, so the navigation box and content box reflective features stand out. The logo is better than the previous one. However the logo is a little too far from it's right detail. The distance is alright in the previous design. It can be wider than the previous design, but not too much. The gray buttons in the navigation menu and the gray bars in the content area that I'm expecting are far darker with more reflective features. The smaller bar that I'm requesting is expected smaller by 1/2 of this size. The smaller bar in this design still seem too big. I've also noticed a problem that the reflective features in the navigation area and content area are on top of the navigation buttons and dividers in the content area. The reflective features should be behind the buttons and the bars. In addition, please also make an extra button for each of the buttons in the navigation menu for a mouse over effect. The additional button should also follow the reflective glass effect. You shall choose the color tones upon your professionalism. I'd prefer if you will add a glowing neon effect the each mouse over button. Also, I will need 2 more set of buttons to add on in the navigation menu, namely "Video Archive" and "Music Archive". The order of arrangement of all the buttons from top is, "About Myself", "Blog", "Photo Archive", "Video Archive", "Music Archive", "Community", "Feedback". I'd also prefer that the navigation area box's width be smaller, making a wider width for the content area. However the resulting total width of the template, from left most to right most, should be around 800px. Also, I'd prefer the navigation button font size be smaller. I guess this is more or less going to complete. I'm very excited on this design. You've been doing great! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Participant: truefusion Status: Pending for design modification - 3rd phrase

Wow... I don't even need to download any program to use it. Google is everything on the web and its browser-based technology owns. The RSS reader works perfectly. All you need is a google account, which is also the same account for Gmail. It's really nice. Thanks for that..

There's an option to quit the beta on the main page of the Live mail. It's the first page after you've signed in.. I couldn't get a screenshot of it since I'm already out..

There are many generators on the web to change your email addresses in the source of your HTML script to an indirect string such that only your browser will display your email address correctly. This way, spam bots are unable to collect your email address and hence you will be kept away from them. Search google for such generators. One of such is this.. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Yahoo Mailbox Skin New Yahoo MailBox
Inspiron replied to farsiscript's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Will you show a screenshot of your yahoo inbox? I don't see a new skin change in my yahoo mail account, neither I saw any invites from Yahoo itself. All I see is spam mails in my bulk directory.. -
To add on to mayank's comments, Cisco majors in security, both hardware and software for corporate uses. Most banks around the world uses Cisco hardware firewall and intrusion alarm systems that is capable of alerting the owner of the intrusion. It's also commonly used as burglar alarms at home too. In Singapore, Cisco security alarms are linked to the police. This means that when the alarm triggers, the police is the one that will be first alerted.

Disconnections are sometimes and usually due to the faulty telephone wiring in your home, or somewhere between your home and the telephone company or ISP. Also, since you are using 56k modem, your internet connection might be anytime disconnected due to the fact of noise in your telephone cable. Noise is generated when there is interference in your telephone cable. That includes magnetic elements, and can also be caused by picking up your phone while you are connected to the internet. Hence if possible, avoid all these. Broadband on the other hand, is not vulnerable to noise as easy as 56k connection. You may still talk on the phone while connected in an ADSL network. You may like to refer to the following on speeding up your connection http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://www.robustftp.com/isb.html (freeware)

It could be regarding PDF plugins that you've moved into an optional folder in the Acrobat Reader installation directory. Usually reinstalling Acrobat Reader will solve the issue as it writes back all the plugins in the correct directory. Unless you know which plugin to restore, you then manually move that particular plugin back to the original directory. jlhaslip's comments should be refering to this thread.. http://forums.xisto.com/topic/24772-speed-up-acrobat-reader-loading/

I've signed up for the Live Mail beta program. I don't see things like what your screenshots are. Neither do I see 2000mb of storage space. I was a plain white page with all my mails listed in rows. I didn't get a screenshot of it because I thought it was really bad. I quited from the beta program and got back the usual hotmail interface.

Something Is Wrong With My Videos it only happens in IE
Inspiron replied to illdevilinc's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Embedding flash, media player, java applets, or any other objects are coded differently for different browsers. <object width="550" height="400"> <param name="movie" value="somefilename.swf"> <embed src="somefilename.swf" width="550" height="400"></embed></object>This is the minimum code to embed a flash application. To further customise your flash workability, you will need to add on additional parameters with the <param> tags. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ You can see that in the set of codes above, there's <object> and <embed> tags. You need both of them. Here's why.. <object> tag is recognized by Internet Explorer, and Netscape recognizes the <embed> tag and ignores the <object> tag. You've probably did not include that <object> tag, and hence your flash application, or any object, is not viewable on Internet Explorer. Firefox follows Netscape's standard of coding, hence you can see them in Firefox. -
Microsoft Warns Users Of Pirated Windows Os with a Desktop Message
Inspiron replied to Inspiron's topic in Operating Systems
The article was published on April 25, 2006, and it stated the above message, that it will affect the few countries. Hence if you are not staying in that 5 regions, you've probably not see those tatoos on your desktop. Wait till Microsoft releases that update to the whole wide world, then you should see it on your desktop. -
It's definately not the same between upgrading your current computer and buying a new one. Your current computer is already six years old. Upgrading it will hardly get the overall same performance as getting a brand new computer. I'd suggest getting a new computer, either customised, or branded. If you are going for a branded computer, I'd recommend Dell. It's the best computer manufacturer known in the computer industry. It's well known for it's stability and support. I've tried other brands of computer before, as well as some experiences from friends, many other brands os computers are not stable. And some were worst in their support. Some of their support people simply made you wait on the phone and dragged as long as they could. Otherwise they would refer you to elsewhere where it's out of their business, in which you will have to pay for support. I've got 2 Dell computers at home. They are still work fine since 5 years ago. There were no major problems occurred. Hence in terms of stability, I would say Dell is better.Building your own computer is another way. It also means a brand new computer since it's built up from scratch, like what the computer manufacturers will do. Just that this time, you build it yourself. Although it's not easy to build a computer, it's always good to learn building one. Because you get to choose the parts for your computer, it could be a cheap computer overall.

Losing Quality With Animations. Question.
Inspiron replied to savge17's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
SVG format seems cool. According to the samples you've provided, I can see that it takes some time to process the vectors before displaying it. I'm surprise with this format because it isn't really an image file. Rather, it's just an image information file to tell the browser, or the image viewer, to render the image according to the information file. I'm somewhat surprise to see that is can be viewed as text. Also, I've tried zoom in and it doesn't get pixilated. I guess this technology of imaging will be the future. However, it will take alot of processing time to render those images on the spot. A webpage with full of svg graphics might be terrible. -
If you are looking into PHP books, I'd recommend "PHP Fast and Easy" series. Get the latest edition to suite the latest versions of PHP. That was the first book I've read that made me understand PHP from basic. I was a total newbie on PHP then until I've read the book. It even teaches you how to install it, together with Apache and MySQL, which other PHP books doesn't include. I would say it's really an ultimate book for dummies. Get it from your nearest library to read it up and buy it if you like it.

Google To Take On Geocities Google Page Creator
Inspiron replied to dontmaimyourself's topic in Search Engines
I just want to add a point that this service from Google is indeed free webhosting. I've tested uploading some of my html files, together with pictures and embed flash. Everything seemed to work great and loading fast. Comparing the speed of loading, I would say Google Pages wins Xisto free hosting, somehow, honestly. However, Google Pages only serves basic web hosting. This means that you cannot have PHP, ASP, or any servers-side scripts hosted on Google. They will not work because they are not support features. Moreover, Xisto free hosting wins in terms of hosting space. Google Pages allows every account 100MB of web space, at an added point of unlimited bandwidth. Although Xisto free hosting has a limit in bandwidth, who is going to exceed that limit? It's going to be difficult to exceed the limit unless you are also running some sort of service that has many members or subscribers. So here's the summary of what Google Pages offers- 100MB- Basic HTML webpages hosting- Unlimited bandwidth- No PHP/ASP/JSP or any server-side scripts supported- No MySQL or any databases supported- Speedy downstream- No ads, not even Google Ads. -
Have you tried to open that particular picture file with another picture view or photo editing software. I'm suspecting that the picture file is damaged or has an extra or missing a certain bit of data such that ACDSee is unable to show your picture file. Check if that picture file is valid by opening it with another picture viewer. If the picture is still viewable in another picture viewer, you may have to repair that particular picture file. http://www.officerecovery.com/pixrecovery/ Alternatively, if you are able to open that picture file with another picture viewer, try saving it as another file name, hence resulting 2 of the same image or picture. Try opening the new picture file which you've just created with ACDSee to see if there's anymore errors in editing the new picture file. There should not be any more errors prompt. Basically, this method only saves the picture or image on another file, without getting any extra information existing in the currect picture file which gives you error in ACDSee. Those extra information in the picture file may not contain anythiing related to the picture, which included the time and date the picture taken, the name of the camera which the picture was taken, etc. This problem is unlikely to be a virus since you've scanned your computer thoroughly and confirmed that your computer is virus-free. However if all the methods above fails, you may want to delete this file if you suspect it contains hidden virus scripts or trojan scripts.

You cannot keep it somewhere where people cannot access the stylesheet. The html file you've coded have linked to the stylesheet. Hence whenever your visitor visits your site, the stylesheet is also downloaded together with the html file, images, sounds etc. The alternative to protect your stylesheet is to encrypt it in such a way only your html is able to understand. Humans, like us, will not be able to understand the stylesheet codings even if they've got the exact stylesheet file. A little search on google gave a nice software that is able to encrypt your stylesheets as well as your html files and javascripts. http://www.htmlguardian.org/help_main.html As stated on the webpage, Fortunately there's a fully functional free Personal Edition for download and use. You may like to try that out.

It's okay to have a web-based version of Google Talk, which many claimed to be much better than the orginal client version from Google. The think about this service is that it goes through a 3rd party company or server, which like matto commented, is insecure. Furthermore, the service, as stated on the full-flashed webpage, is not affiliated with Google. However, the site has added strong point of having SSL v3.0 128 bit ARC4 (1024 bit RSA/SHA) encryption. So it's a matter whether or not we should use the service and trust that our data will not be leaked in any way, voice or text messages. The service now includes instant messaging, hence we assume that text is also encrypted.Anyway, the point is that it goes through a non-Google server, that made us to think twice before entering our userID and password in it.

He may be able to help you further with the integration. Also, you would have to check out the module's author's documentation for integration to phpNuke as it may not be so easy. Alternative to the paid version of phpnuke, which you will have to install yourself, there is a free subscription based phpnuke hosted for you, just like those free ready-to-go forums. http://www.createaforum.com/

Ok I've just found out that Microsoft is developing the brand new interface for Office 2007. This version will be unique unlike other of the previous Office versions, in terms of workability. Users of current Microsoft Office may need to re-adapt to this interface as working on it may be slightly different. Check it out the screenshots.. Microsoft Office Word 2007 Microsoft Office Excel 2007 Microsoft Office Powerpoint 2007 You may like to view this video on the new workability and interface http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ mm http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Likewise to the Microsoft Vista operating system, the Microsoft Office 2007 will come in 7 different versions. Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 Microsoft Office Professional 2007 Microsoft Office Small Business 2007 Microsoft Office Standard 2007 Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 Microsoft Office Basic 2007 The detailed differences between the 7 versions can be found herehttp://www.microsoft.com/err/office/ Thanks to Paul Thurrott, a great someone from Microsoft, posted more screenshots of this new office interface, They can be viewed here http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Unfortunately, I'm unable to find for a beta download link for it to test it out. I assume Microsoft didn't realease it.
