I can't see Google introducing an OS, sorry. It would be really hard, as it would need to support every single game out there that works on XP or Vista to be successful. Would a google OS be free? Or would it be $100? $200? Who knows. How would they distribute it? Microsoft currently make mice, keyboards, webcams etc. Google would have to match those as well.
In a nut shell, I think it wouldn't be feasible for Google to introduce and support an OS. I would rather they stick to what they do currently and do it well.

There are heaps of really dodgy areas in the world, and sadly that has happened to Niagra Falls. Take Inala for example. There are numerous Vietnamese stores and shops for food, yet the area is infested with 'bogans' and it is really dangerous. Everyone bags out Inala, its like the only bad place in Brisbane, well sort of, one must also consider Nundah, Kingston, Browns Plains and Richlands as well. Once again we are at that time during the term when we have a heavily workload from school-I have my French listening exam tomorrow, Maths exam tomorrow, French writing exam on Thursday and our full Modern History assignment due Monday.I have been staying up late completing work and doing study, yet anytime past 11PM and my dad starts pressuring me to go to bed. I have too much to do at the moment, going to bed early is a luxury for holiday times.But once this week and next week are over, I just have a Geography assignment (easy peasy. allready halfway finished it), French speaking exam, and possibly a Maths assignment. All due over a period of 2 weeks, last 2 weeks of school for the term.Then it is the September holidays and going to FRANCE!!!

I say yes. They are just as bad as those violent TV shows showing gruesome murder of people. It gives murderers and rapists ideas on what techniques to try on their next victim. Horrible.

Actually the people who did that bashing of animals and nailing of magpies is believed to be a group of 30 or 40 year old men.

I didn't say the murders should have a slow and horrible death, I just said many people like that who torture people and animals with NO REMORSE have no right to be here at all. Of course, if they had proper rehabilitation and GENUINELY were sorry for their actions then we should forgive them... if they are mentally unstable and murdered someone/tortured/raped etc. etc. then we shouldn't really get rid of them as they weren't of sound mind to contemplate their actions.

I didn't eat the fish knowing where it came from... I ate the chips as I knew that they can't have touched every single one. When we got home I made another lunch as my tummy wasn't 100% filled.But the place was empty which was a sure sign, everyone seemed to be at a restaurant across the road. Such a pity we couldn't go to the normal place we go to, which is about 1km down the road. We get good food, great service in a nice clean place for a decent price. But when they touched the food I didn't know what to say.. I was just thinking 'what the... did he just touch our food, with those grubby hands, in front of us?'A200

The thing is, you pay when you order, and by the time we had our food we truly realised how horrible it was.Dad did go in and speak to them and say you should be washing your hands or having gloves on AT LEAST and touching customers food is not good.I agree, I hope that the place is normally run by someone else and this are there brothers or sons or something. I swear, if I food inspector or mystery shopper went to this outlet, they would be shut down for good. Very shoddy food practices! I feel like I should alert some government agency... if a flu outbreak started, that shop would spread it extremely quickly.To my rant >>My family went out to the Brisbane bayside quite a few times back in the summer holidays in January, mainly because my sister had been taking out dog to obedience classes there. Because it was on a weekly basis on Sunday night, we would have dinner at a nice restaurant, opposite the bay that had outside eating so it was a nice meal. Prices were decent, and the food was awesome. We normally have fish and chips there, and it always comes with salad and we also buy milkshakes which are nice too. Price for fish and chips + salad was $9 IIRC. Milkshakes were $3.It seems the locals liked it there too, it was usually full of people, and was well lit, waiters were nice and was a generally enjoyable place.Well today we went down to Wynnum again (at lunchtime) and went to a place further down the road where my dad had to go to some exhibit or expo thing. After that we decided to have fish + chips somewhere, and I suggested we go to the place down the road where we went heaps of times, and is a 5min walk down the road. But oooh no we had to eat at this other place, which was closer as my dad couldn't be bothered walking or even driving just down the road so we went to this restauranty place where you eat outside on tables and chairs on the footpath. Their prices were pretty shoddy, and when I saw it I wanted to go to the other place... turns out my gut instinct was 100% correct.Fish and chips at this place was $12, and had no salad and was just *BLEEP* fish with chips (full of fat) just chucked in. We ordered what we wanted, and the person serving us had black stuff under his fingernails, which was totally gross. His clothes were pretty dirty and his hands were dirty too. My horror continued. Mum wanted quiche so he took it out of the display cabnet and put it on another plate (he didn't use tongues or anything to move it, he used his bare fingers on food (ewww). Then we sat down and waited for him and the other person there to cook it, and I noticed they didn't have gloves on, so they were handling customers food with the same hands that had touched money which has been goodness knows where, and hands that he just coughed on, that had been rubbed on dirty clothes, that were also being used to cook food. See my issue?Well 20mins later lunch finally arrived, and he just put it on our table with a grunt and went back out. We looked at the plate with fish and chips just chucked on, looking really gross. (I wanted to puke, knowing where it came from). Seeing as there were two different types of fish in it, my dad went in and asked what was what. So he came out and picked up our fish from our plate (still with grotty hands) and said 'this is either cod or nile perch, dunno which' and picked up the other one and said 'barramundi' and chucked it back onto the plate and went back in. I couldn't believe it... Noone really wanted to eat what we ordered... we were dismayed... I also noticed that the place was pretty much empty and all the locals seemed to have ordered from another shop nearby... The next time we go to manly, I know sure as hell I will never order from that place again. Heck I am surprised noone has contacted the food safety authority or something, they would shut it down in a heartbeat.A food critic would give it a rating of -9999999999999999999999999/10. However, I think that the place normally isn't operated by these two people, I hope that someone else normally operates it and they were filling it... I HOPE. From the outside, it looked like a good place, but on the inside it was pure ewwww. If there was an outbreak of some serious disease and was spread via the practices of that store, I imagine they would get sued a heck of a lot of money. I notice large fastfood chains like McDonalds and Subway seem to do the right thing- have the people operating the register NOT TOUCH food, and vice versa. As they know good practices, and chances are, you are safer eating their food than anywhere else. I hope you liked reading my big rant, I felt I must pass the word about this dismal place.A200

Extremely good news! It was supposed to be out by the end of 2007, but a delay to Aug '08 isn't that bad, considering it is a very good quality product and forum software. Best of all, its free!

I will definitely use MyBB over phpBB now. If you are looking for a good forum software, choose mybb!

I haven't seen Prince Caspian yet. Sort of ironic seeing as I was hell bent on being in the first screening of the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe at our local cinemas on the opening day. It really annoys me a lot when I have been doing homework and assignments and my brother + sister are watching TV (they are in uni so they don't have homework or study to do at the moment) and when someone comes to the door or something, they expect me to drop what I am doing and open it, even though they aren't doing anything useful and are closer. ^^ Yeah editing core files annoys me too, its especially annoying when mods are updated and you don't pick up on it, and it gets to the stage where the version of the MOD you have isn't supported so you have to uninstall it manually and reinstall. Even boards like SMF, MyBB, AEF have had plugin installers for ages, its a real shame phpBB doesn't.

I have used the styles on ShadowFlames Development- I quite like BF Vista and Glacier styles, and there are some nice styles, but I do notice quite a few styles that are prosilver with the colours changed and its a bit repetitive and doesn't look unique.

I have used phpBB2 and 3, IPB, vB (i didn't own the script, but my friend who has a copy of both let me take a look at the admin cp of his forums), SMF, MyBB, AEF and some others which I can't remember the name of.I like phpBB3 a lot, but I have quite a few gripes about it.1. Due to the fact that heaps of phpBB3 users are at the community asking for help at the same time means that its really hard to get support there, and most likely you won't get your issue resolved. phpBB's success is it's biggest failure. Support. There simply isn't enough people online to answer every single support request and most of the time it's best if you ask at a smaller phpBB board (forums like StarTrekGuide for example) where you would get support.2. That prosilver style. Yes it looks nice, but no matter how hard to try, it will ALWAYS have that 'prosilver look' and thus it is hard to make your board unique.I have to go now but I will add more later-A200

^^ You forgot TAZ and AF...But good luck. Every forum has to come from somewhere. At the beginning of this year I tried The Admin Helpline and we only had 1,600 posts and 32 members... I gave up in March. I was going to reopen last month but decided not to as I simply wasn't interested anymore and most of the stuff people ask I probably wouldn't understand! (I remember trying to help someone with a basic template problem on the MyBB community and what I was saying confused the poor person :D)My main problem was I spammed too much. There were like 800 posts in the general discussion area and 800 total elsewhere (including like 100 posts on announcements and news). So of course, noone joined (except me, a friend and some random people from sites I regularly visit).But anyway good luck, I hope you are successful, the admin forum field is pretty saturated with forums so you'll have to make yours different and special but you never know. One day yours might be a big forum too. You just have to put in the effort and find people to post and make sure those posts are quality. :)A200
