  1. I completely agree with your statement. Personally, I have never seen Star Trek Enterprise because I'm not a big Science Fiction fan...and I don't like the faces of some of the characters on the show. Recently, I saw VH1's Best Week Ever, and they had a segment on the cancellation of Star Trek Enterprise. One of the comedians said, "I feel bad for Star Trek because I feel like I never had enough time to ignore it." (or something along that line) I cannot agree with this quote more. Please don't flame me, ST fans.
  2. YIKES! I cliked on http://kalacreations.com/ and I got this: Warning: main(./forums/conf_global.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mstr/public_html/index.php on line 139 Warning: main(./forums/conf_global.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mstr/public_html/index.php on line 139 Warning: main(./forums/conf_global.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/mstr/public_html/index.php on line 139 (Check line 139) As for your gallery, I get a 404 error.
  3. You don't have a lot done...Before making a website, you have to think of what your layout will be. Draw this out on a piece of paper first. Then, I would recommend using CSS to code the layout (this is usually the hardest step). Next, use Fantastico in your cPanel and choose a Content Management System. Apply your CSS to your CMS, and you should be done!
  4. I was going to sign up, but spawn_syxx9 convinced me not to.Anyway, I don't think the layout of ShutMail is bad; I just think that the webmaster(s) there believe(s) in a basic theme for their site because it loads so much faster. However, in response to spawn_syxx9's experience, I think that ShutMail needs to recode some stuff...or go to beta like GMail.
  5. Well, I don't think they store ALL their movies on their hard drive. When I down...erm...rip legal movies...from a friend, the output is usually 700 MB which ends up on a CD. This is a reason why I'm considering moving to other countries because organizations like the Motion Pictures Association of America come after you...or at least I don't think they can.
  6. Haha, this is interesting... So far, no one has gotten 20/20, but NilsC has gotten very close.
  7. For me, it'd have to be Mozilla Firefox, Winamp, Microsoft Word, and Macromedia Flash Player (I saved a swf file on my computer, so I can play the game [http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ is anyone is interested] without connecting to the Internet).
  8. Recently, my sister told me about a fun little flash game that tests your ability to spot a fake smile. I got 15/20, and she got 16/20. Let's see how well you do: Spot the Fake Smile I think the ability to distinguish smiles are essential because it helps to know when the other person is faking so you won't waste your time associating with them. Post your scores below!

    Gmail Drive

jmiller87, GMail Drive is a shell extension that adds a drive to your computer. You can find out more about GMail Drive at GMail Drive shell extension I don't personally use GMail Drive, but I've heard good things about, so I might use it some day.
  10. I think the only reason Norton is winning even though the majority of the people on this topic don't like it is because it comes with almost every new computer nowadays. Norton came on my computer that I bought two years ago and it came on my sister's. It has a complimentary 60 days LiveUpdate - which is the only bad thing I can think of
  11. You have never been so right. I use Winamp all the time when I'm listening to music because it has the hotkeys feature, so I don't have to go to the interface everytime I want to pause or go to the next song. I only use Windows Media Player when I want to play a video because I had a hard time when I tried playing the Ashlee Simpson lip sync video on Winamp. By the way, what skin do you guys use on Winamp? I use the Haxbox skin because it goes with my Windows skin (StyleXP).
  12. My site wasn't working in the morning, but it is now! All I hope is that it works on Monday because I uploaded my Java homework to my webspace.
  13. I haven't seen or used NOD23, but I've used Norton Professional 2003, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because, like haron said, it's slow. In other words, Norton uses too much system resource, and when Norton is scanning your computer for viruses, you basically can't do anything because it slows down your computer significantly.
  14. I cannot go to my site either - neither cPanel nor FTP works. I'm using the computer at my school right now, and I keep getting a network error. If any admins know what's wrong, please tell us. Thanks!
  15. I only like informercials if they don't interrupt my regular broadcasting. Like, if they show the infomercials early in the morning or late at night, then I have no problem with that, but if it gets in the way of my favorite shows, then I get mad.I agree with Sprnknwn; we can always turn off the TV and do something else.
  16. My screenname is not on there yet, but then again, I've only been on Xisto for about 3 days, so I don't blame google. However, when googling my screenname, I got 53 results. How many results do you get when you google your screnname?

    Trap17

You can always start your own topic or perhaps a poll.I felt like that once, but I created the BitTorrent Client poll.Just remember not to spam because you don't want to mess up your free, good webhost
  18. Thanks for the tip, Amezis. By the way, I will be using Gallery for my picture gallery for my site, so if I upload all my images to imageshack, is there a way to link the images from imageshack to my site so it'll show up in the gallery? If you use, or have used Gallery, and you're afraid of wasting your bandwidth, you know my struggle. Gallery makes you upload your images to your web space, so I just wanna know if there's a way to hotlink the images from another server. Please reply if you know what I'm talking about.
  19. I don't own any systems/consoles at home, but I've played almost all of them at stores like Best Buy. I think the N64 is the best because it's classic - I'm old school. The newer consoles are too cliche for me, but I'll get one once I have enough money. My favorite game on the N64 would be Mario Kart 64 because I love racing games, and when mixed with funny weapons like turtle shells and bananas, Mario Kart easily becomes the best game.
  20. That's the thing - ads or ad (however you look at it). I don't like it in anyway, but that's just my opinion. I mean, I understand their reason for putting ads on their browser, but I don't use it
  21. I <3 Firefox. Its interface is small navigation bar at the top is so small that sometimes my mouse misses the buttons. I also like the fact that you can customize it to your heart's desire. Of course, the tabs come in handy too.I've seen screenshots of Opera, and I don't like it. First, Opera is not free (there are free versions of course, but I don't think it's worth it). Second, the free version of Opera is clunky - worse than IE.
  22. You can use a rollover Javascript + DHTML menu, which is what I have on my site. Go to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ to download it. The program is not free, but it's definately worth it if you want to have something on your site to impress users.
  23. I agree with Miller Time. I don't see that's the big deal about an iPod.I use a Sony CD player that has the capabilities of playing Atrac music, so I can store music files at low bitrates for higher quality. You can store as much as 480 songs on one 700 MB disc. On my CD player, I have about 250 songs, if you wanna know. The best artist, in my opinion, in my CD player is Eminem.Personally, I think the iRiver is better because it's battery life is longer, and it has a colorful interface.
  24. I heard that surfjunky is bad too because I heard that they shut down your account once you reach the 25 dollars payout limit
  25. OOO!! I love Gunbound I played it all the time.
