I agree. They have created documentaries that show models of what the Dinosaurs would have looked like from the information collected from the bones. And has anyone actually help a Dinosaur bone? I don't see how they can just make up bones from other bones, because the material is obviously bone. That sounds more like a joke to me. Who would want to nuke the sun?

I've kept my credits positive for weeks just posting some of my issues in this forum. I didn't post anywhere else. That is because I'm one of the people who struggle to keep them positive. My account must have been suspended at least six times since I created it. I'm not one of this people who can write paragraph after paragraph over why school is good/bad, or the hardest game etc. But there are a few topics out there that interest me. All it takes is one average post per day at the very least. And I mean average post. It's not hard to get one credit out of a post, and if you don't, its border-line spam. So it really is not that difficult.

Crash Bash. Seriously, has anyone ever completed that game? You have each level 10 times, and each time, you have to win three times in a row without dying. Even then you got three other guys against you in an areana, with an extremely biast system. I think they used computers as games testers.

This is a useful topic. Although when I had adsense, I never received any money. Does it actually generate any worth while revenue? I may make another account for it though and try it again. I had very little luck with it last time...

Thanks, but I figured out another method that worked before I read your post. I opened the .htaccess file in my forum directory, and added the line: php_value upload_max_filesize XM, replace the X with the number of MB. This topic can be closed now.

That is the setting to change the limit. I've been on support boards for the forum software, and seen similar topics. It even tells you there how to change your host files so you can increase the limit. Since this is not supposed to be host related, can I do that myself?

On my forum it says that I have a 2mb upload limited. Apparently this is host related? I was wondering if it is ok to have this increased? And if so, how would I go about increasing it?

If your run out of bandwidth your account gets suspended until the start of the next month. There's not really much you can do. The solution we came up with is to terminate my current account and apply for a new one once i have enough credits. Most likely when my account was created some of the files did not get transfered properly and so things don't work right. Getting a new account should fix this. I guess you will have to do the same, but I think your site will lose a lot of traffic with it being as popular as it is.

Me too. I think there was an error when my account was made, and it missed out some files. Although thats a simple guess, I'm not very experienced with CPanel. I know where the update link is, but I cant actually access it because I go an error before I get into the page. My PE teacher told me that if you do weights that are heavy, you get large muscles, but if you do weights that arelight but for a long time, you get strong. Doing push-ups once a week wont really be enough to see any real improvement. You should do them everyday, because it only takes a couple of minutes right? An easy thing to do is, each night before you goto bed and after you wake up, do as many press-ups as you can. Then you should see an improvement. I dont know about a toned body though. Equipment would probably be best for that, but most people dont have it. There are things around the house you can use though. For example, if you want abs, you can do sit-ups, and to make them harder you can put your feet up on a stall or your bed or something, and you can get a good work out like that.

I know you can download awstats free, so if i knew where to upload the files into my Cpanel, maybe i could get it working again.

A while ago when my site was new, i searches for it on both google and yahoo, and it would come up on yahoo and not google. Later it would come up on google. So I dont know which is best, but I only use google. I dont like yahoo even it does get better results. Although i heard somewhere that yahoo uses google as a search engine... is that true?

In my CPanel, the bandwidth counter is constantly at 0, it never changes. I can never see how much bandwidth I've used this month. My awstats never work also, so i have no idea how much traffic is coming through my site. Does anyone know how I can fix my bandwidth counter? Thanks.

I voted for yes, which puts the negative credits system in favor. Really, your credits should not even go below 0. As a requirement for hosting, you must remain active on the forums. That is what you sign up for when you get the account. This topic is almost like complaining for what happens when you're meeting the requirements(No offense intended!). Actually, my account has been suspended atlease six times, and I did get to -25 at one point. This system does keep members posting, and once you get to zero, you cant expect the credits to stop decreasing. Thats almost like free credits. You wait until you need your account to post, and you keep your account active without even posting. So i think its good idea. Although it would be good for if they did stop at zero, maybe my site wouldnt be down so much.

Here's something I found on another forum, and thought I would post it here. This apparently makes your Invision Power Board a lot quicker using eAccelerator. First, check if your host has eAccelerator(Im pretty sure Xisto does) Second, Add the followinf code before the closing php tag in conf_global.php(Found in your root directory): $INFO['use_eaccelerator'] = '1'; Thats it. I tested this out myself, and the forums do load really quick, but I'm not sure if the speed has increased. Could be my imagination because I expect it to increase. Try it out for yourselves.

Well, posting is the more efficient way to have a credits system. And there are so many forums on Xisto, and many topics that should interest many types of people. I think i will make most of my topics in this new forum, since i use Xisto for game development myself.

Sounds good so far DeM0nFiRe. I believe there is already a pokemon starter kit for RPG Maker XP right? I think it was those guys who released that pokemon game on RMXP. That should help you with the battlesystems and menu systems. Actually, it would be easier if you started or turned this into a RPG Maker VX pokemon starter kit, since the graphics are a lot simpler.

Thanks DeM0nFiRe, i just noticed the new forum up. It would make me more active as well. I see your already posting your RMXP stuff there. Im using my Xisto account for an RMXP forum too I guess we can teach the Xisto members a couple of things about game development.

I will try and explain it to you. * Is there no "Select all" possibility in the File Manager?No, I dont think so. You can back up your "home" directory in CPanel. Which you can find in the "Backup" section. That will backup all files in the "public_html" folder. If you do a full backup, you get all the files stored on your account. Like files in trash etc. * How is it possible to overwrite files/folders that already exist?You can do that with an FTP program. If in the file manager, i think you have to delete the files, and then upload the new ones. How I've done this in the past(transfer hosts), is download a copy of all my files, zip them, upload the one zip file and extract everything. I only use FTP for small files. * Are there any files I do not need to copy (specific for my other hosting company)?I think this is up to you. Your new host will work fine without the files from your other hosting company. Just upload your personal files, from the public_html folder.
