-Problem solved...I feel like an idiot. Trying to make my own .htaccess files and stuff. Then I got a stroke of genius and decided to look in the cPanel...and behold they have something to do it for you..sorry guys. You know how we have to log in to a little box thing to get into our cPanel? I was wondering if I could set something up like that for a page I have hosted here. The reason why I want to do it is because if too many people go to my web page from our school the webmaster will end up blocking it(Because he is EVIL! lol). I know I might be able to do something like this with some PHP but that wouldn't block people from directly accessing the web page itself. So does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? It would be greatly appreciated! Hmm. It seems that I can try to do this with the .htaccess file. Well so says google. So I am going to look into that but I am still welcoming and suggestions! There was a javascript one I found but it wouldn't stop them from access the page if they typed the url in. Notice from jlhaslip: Merged posts. I understand what you mean Ghost. But considering that it can be done I am sure some gamer has done it somehow, however safe it is.I usually don't run it in window mode because it takes a lot more RAM then full screen.I still use the other monitor to it's full extent, by putting my TS windows, AIM messages, maybe a webpage or two. I can see what's happening just not able to click them. I use them mostly for my Photoshop and Flash stuff.

I kinda knew why it does this, but it is hard to believe that there is no way to get around it. Maybe a app that makes windows think all windows are in "windowed" mode but aren't could help?

Well I am not sure if I am first second or maybe fifty. But that doesn't matter. What does matter is that Xisto is an awesome site! I use it for hosting of coarse but much more than that , I post my art here, websites and questions. Alright folks...I think the intro is done for a while until I want to edit it more.I added some different music, and made it fade out when you click to enter. I also added the ever so helpful "skip intro" buton.On the main site I added a little box that describes the site in a box so people don't have to search to see what the site is about. I also redid the WHOLE gallery thing. I am making it artist based, where you click the artists name to view their specific gallery. I have all the art ready still finishing up getting all the artists pages working.I don't know why only one person has been commenting continuously but thanks for anyone who has looked at it.and again sorry for any mods having to edit my previous posts, I must have been in a hurry.

Well I don't understand everything it says, but make sure you are not redirecting a redirect. If that makes sense? EX. bob.com/index.html redirects to steve.com/index.html that redirects to bob.com/index.html. Get the point?Also make sure all the URLS are entered correctly.

Welcome to Xisto.This is "the" best place for free hosting. I mean you have to post in a friendly forum if you have any problems! Why would anyone want to do that?It doesn't take very long at all to get enough credits to host, two or three days for me.Make sure all of your posts are worth while and have good content.

What version of windows are you using?When does the error come up? When you click to enter your pass? Or does it come up right away?Have you tried going into safe mode?AndHow are you logged on now?Sorry for all the questions, but having had to trouble shoot many times before. You must be very specific with your errors so they can be solved appropiately.

I think we need more information.Who are you?Do you have hosting with this site?What is the exact error?Is this error with logging onto the forums or hosting?Once you answer those I might be able to help.But a big change is that you won't even come back to look at this post.

Dual monitors should not be a problem, I have a newer version of the same card and it works fine with my dual monitors. Good luck, it should have came with a program to help you with the setup called nView.

Thanks for the reply, I should have put that in the first post but forgot.It is not the game, it does it with all full screen games. I know this because A.)It has done it with everyone so far and B.)When I had a game,warrock, it was a game where you could ALT+TAB something and it wouldn't minimize the game and just bring the window up over the game. When I dragged over the the other monitor with that game open nothing happened, by that I mean it didn't minimize.Good suggestion though, thanks.

I have two monitors hooked up on my computer, VIA Geforce 7800 GS, one DVI one VGA.I love having the extra space for my other apps, I put stuff like my IM's and media players over on the other monitor whilst I have my big programs running on my other monitor.The GFX card came with some software for editing how things work but I have a problem that I don't know how to solve.When I am running a fullscreen game and I drag my mouse over to the other monitor and click, it minimizes the full screen game. This really defeats the purpose of having stuff on the other screen if I can't do anything other than see them.I was wondering if there is any software out there that deals with custimizing dual monitors or anything made for them, it doesn't need to be exactly for my problem because I might find something in it to help. It also doesn't need to be free because I have my ways..lolThanks, does anyone else have this problem btw?

Lol, I love to multi-task also. But the problem comes that if I spend too much time on it I might lose the intrest or vision I had for it. I was IM'ing, playing games, and talking the whole way through making it.It is there fault for not enforcing it. I wouldn't mind putting it on if they did but it would make it look tacky.

Yeah, they say that if you don't link back on the front page they will remove your redirection. I have had my other site up for about 5 months now with no link back and they haven't done anything. There is no way for them to check, they actually go by activity on the sites. And even if they did it wouldn't effect the site at all, all .co.nr does is ghost the url from my host here.Yeah two days. I really don't like spending as much time on my stuff as that. I am one who likes to get things done. I had to work both days, and help my bro with some stuff. But I ended having plenty of time.Dial-up...going out with the floppy drives.

The only reason I was considering doing the whole thing is flash is because it is not a professional website, and it would be a good learning experience. -Just a intro so far, updates will come- I am working on starting another website, for a couple reasons. 1. I am back in the mood for one (I can't make one if I don't feel like it.) 2. My close friend asked me too. So, you may be asking yourselves; What makes this any difference? Well here here sweet children gather around! I am trying to make this one with tons of flash!! YAY! Flash is such a cool looking thing to have on your site correct? Basic purpose: A site for all of the artwork made from said person, in this case this is Sabina. A fan site for her some may say. I am going to have a fun facts page, gallery, news, and all the good stuff. Hopefully I can also catch up on my actionscript to get some comment stuff going on also! So here is the intro, mind you I am still very much tweeking and working on.
