Okay well I copied all the files to try it this way. I went into the index.html to test it out, took out the "News Part" and replaced it with <!--#include virtual="globalnews.html" -->. I made a new HTML file named "globalnews.html" and put what I took out of the index in there. I then changed the extension of the index to .shtml. Went to the index.shtml and there was nothing in the news... Anything I might have done wrong, or do I need to install apache to see the effects without uploading?

Grrr, I was hoping that it wasn't going to come to that.I will have a look at the tutorial though. I know quite a bit about PHP. But the problem that I was coming up with was that I was told by my adviser that the district will have to do something with the HTML file and convert it to some kind of file with "nuke" in the name, it wasn't "PhpNUKE" though, I know that.So I will have to ask him tomorrow if the server we have will be able to run any PHP.Thanks for the reply I will edit this post with more information when I get any confrimation, and looked through the tutorials.-EDIT-All right! Well it looks quite easy to do after looking through the tutorials but again I will still have to see if they can be PHP files instead of HTML.

I am making a website for my IT Support class and a program called "Cox Connects Kids" for my mid-term assignment. Now I have the whole layout made and I will post a screen shot down lower. My basic problem/question is this: I have a right section of the page(A div) and it is supposed to be a global news part that shows the same on every page(I.e. home, contacts, help) and I was wondering if I can somehow edit my CSS file to have it in there and just change it the one time for all the pages. I am guessing there is some way to do this but I couldn't figure it out. If any of this was unclear please ask me to explain further on any points. A screen shot: (Right part entitled "Global News1/2") Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks!Jenny is so wonderful that I couldn't explain to you!Distance can be a real relationship test and it you shouldn't get down because it didn't work mate.Never give up, never surrender!

I tried the game, TWICE!I never could get past the friggin' training missions. Didn't have enough patience to sit through them all.I suggest Warrock as an alternative.

I haven't been quite active lately.Been really busy with school and stuff with colleges. But I have good news mates!-Cue drum roll-I have a wonderful girlfriend now! I finally asked that lovely someone, Jenny, out after flirting and whatnot for so long.-Funny story of the day I asked her out-When I was in D.C. I got her a necklace that had a heart pendant with her name on it. When I came back, before school, I asked her to come out to the hall with me before class. I told her to shut her eyes, then I went to put the necklace on her. (All good and romantic up till this part right?) Well one end of the necklace slips behind her head and then the pendant falls down her shirt....!!!! LOL. Man we just laughed that off, she found it after a couple minutes of searching, then I put it on her.I can not explain how happy I am and how good it feels to finally not feel lonely and that someone likes you.Hopefully this good karma stays good.To tell you guys the straight truth. This is my first real relationship, and I am 17. I don't think I should be ashamed of that though. I have stayed back for a long time and watched what other people do and figured out why stuff happens to certain relationships. How to not drag out the small things and focus on being happy at the moment.Conversation?! WHAT'S THAT? Nah, I know that all I have to do is lock eyes with her and then I can say whatever I want and she won't care.Hey Damen! What color should we paint the walls?....Erm....what were you gonna use?! Her reply; green!-runs and grabs green paint to cover up the red-ALL RIGHT HUN! lolThe girls are always right, that's lesson number two in the book isn't it? The first being you must reassure her everyday of her beauty, of course. All the authors through out the ages can not explain the feeling of not wanting time to pass when you two are together or the time when your heart jumps on the first kiss. They can only try.

The Glory Days Of Snes Cant quite describe it...
Damen replied to Seidhrith's topic in Computer Gaming
Ah, I know how you feel.I have not lost contact with my good old days of SNES because I have an emulator and play my games at school sometimes.I do love them, but I wouldn't go back to only having them. I love them just as much as I love my awesome Playstation and PC games; just because they are different doesn't mean I can't like them both.Glory days, they are behind AND ahead of us! -
I love the Saw movies!I am not going to waste my time trying to figure out what is going to happen because I am always wrong. Even when I am sitting there watching them! It gets to the last minutes and I am proven wrong!I am going next weekend to see it with my girl, and it better make her scared! lolNo one ruin it for me!

I believe no, at least to me. I do see why most would though. If everyone says that running would kill you and someone ran and just by coincidence died, people would most likely develop a fear of running. It is a bad analogy but I think you get my point.

I like your other sigs, but not this so much. The hair of the girl is not solid and looks bad in my opinion. The top left image has a very low resolution in comparison to the other ones, and the flower just doesn't seem to fit well even though I realize that the girl has one in her hand.

I don't want to talk about weather! lolI just got back from a trip to D.C. and dear lord it was so nice there! It got up to 90! Good 'ol days! Now I am back here at home with a jacket on constantly! Freaking 35 lows and 56 highs. And I hate the winter...it is gonna get freezing! I want my summer back!

My all time favorite movie is "A night at the roxbury". It was one of the first funny movies I saw a long time ago, and actually got the jokes. Me and my cousin have the whole movie memorized and we quote the movie all the time without anyone knowing what the heck we are talking about. Doesn't really matter to us though.

Does Practice Really Make Perfect? Heres my thought...
Damen replied to Seidhrith's topic in General Discussion
I don't believe that it does.I think practice makes you "closer" to perfect. But perfection itself is relative to the translator. What to one person may be perfect is not to another. So maybe there is no such things as perfect anyways? -

Dear lord,How the heck could anyone have that much time! But man is it entertaining or what!Great find! -
I like most all of them, they all have a same sense of style to them. Do you do any other kinds? It would also be cool to see the original renders to see how much you actually changed them from the original. But overall I like them all!Good job, keep it up.

Well if it doesn't show up in google I would suppose it isn't really a good way of getting money online anyway. Just look at all the stuff here about Adsense and stuff like that I am sure they would be glad to help you with those.

I am usually on the other side of that situation. I have a problem with becoming friends with girls that I like because they might have a boyfriend at the time then later on when they don't have a boyfriend I try to tell them how I feel but I just can't.It really sucks.I say that if you think about him and you smile to yourself that you should give it a shot! You just have to make sure that if it doesn't work out that you guys stay friends!Good luck! Hope I was of help to you.

Yeah, I think the version they say they made for Vista is still in BETA so that would most likely explain it all. Glad you got it all worked out though mate! Maybe you should send in a report about your problem to them!

I have quite a few favorites according to what mood I am in during that time of the year.I have Diablo II with the expansion, Conquer Online, and Guild Wars.During the different times of the year I go between them interchangeably. I usually play Diablo and Conquer during the school year because they are open ended games with a core style of grinding your characters. During the summer I play Guild Wars because I don't have enough time to allow my guild to schedule me for our events. So during the summer I can play a lot with them.So all in all it really depends what time of year it is for me.Anyone else this way?

Well that sounds stupid. I hate hearing accounts of stuff like this happening because it makes me not want to get vista. It accordance to your problem; I am not sure what would have done it. Browsing the web gives a lot of security risk even with vista being so strict. Having downloaded something that could have opened a hole for something to come in. I don't think running the game has anything to do with it though. I would say just run some more scans and try to get windows restore to open again also. Other than that you might have to just bring it into a shop at a last resort.Good luck in resolving your problem mate.

Well I live in Omaha Nebraska. The weather here is much different at this time of year that everyone else's. In the time between fall and winter is very volatile. One day it can be jacket weather, the next can be tee shirt. It really is just a gamble until we are full blown winter. Right now it just got done raining all night so it is quite chilly, but that may change!

Well if you want an application I would recommend Coreftp. There is a pay version but also a version called "lite" and that one is free. It was my first ftp program and I haven't gone to a different one although I have tried many others.BUTIf you use firefox I strongly recommend "FireFTP" it is an add-on for fire fox that acts like a FTP program but it just runs in one of your other tabs. Take a little getting used to at first but after a while it was very efficient for my because I could do everything right in firefox.Hope this helps ya out!

Shirt Design I need some opinions on it,
Damen replied to Damen's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Thanks, I am not sure if I have stated this yet. This is also just a rough draft. I am presenting it to my mates at school this Thursday to see what they think of it and what changes they want. Because in the end this is going to be what they are wearing. I just wanted to get some preliminary changes in before they saw it. Thanks for everyones help. -
Lovely thing you have made here SM.One thing I don't like in it is that you used that same galaxy brush twice. That is just about the only thing though.Good work!
