A couple of problems have been spotted.1. Some members are running stuff like PHPProxy off their account - which allows them to connect to it and bounce to other sites using Xisto IP. This eats up a bunch of resources.2. Quite a few run mass mailing scripts - which again is a terrible resource consumer.More problematic scripts are being spotted. Little problem here Vujsa - this tutorial needs reviewing. Half the functions you told to replace have become deprecated in Mambo 4.5.3 - and so are a bunch of files.So this won't work on it anymore. I couldn't find a good part in the new one.

Not really - where most people go wrong is they try to make short posts everyday. Instead, if you plan your posts out carefully, you can get upto 10 credits in one shot - so just make 2-3 such posts in one day in a week and that'll see you through more than 2 weeks.. It's just that you need to find a topic of your interest and make a good informative post. So I say, invest time only once a week - but invest it well... instead of wasting it everyday. Also - you don't need to be popular to make posts - you can very well start off with any topic of your choice - which of course, can fit into one of our forums. Have you defined/created mail accounts and mysql databases yet ? That might be one of the reasons it's saying invalid user/pass - coz such accounts don't exist at all. By default there's no mysql database created when you setup your account.

Can you try using firefox instead once ? None of us are having the problem with firefox. In case you can't use anything other than IE, let me know, I'll see what can be done. Also try accessing it through: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and see if it works.

We've already implemented this quite sometime back, although you won't find a separate forum for it. The requests can be made in any of the relevant forums. But first, here's what you need to do: Goto https://support.xisto.com/ - here you'll find two options - number 6 and 7, which are titled, Transfer Credits and Award Credits. What you're seeking to do can be achieved by using a combination of both.Fig. 1 To announce a reward for a particular job, you need to transfer that much amount of credits into our BANK first. That can be done with option number 6 - Transfer Credits. You need to hand us over the amount you want to announce as reward for safekeeping. This is done in order to prevent scams, where one gets a work done but never pays. In this screen you enter: a. your forum username/password, b. the amount of credits to reserve AND c. the recipient as BANK. Fig. 2 Once you get your job done, you go back to the Process screen again and choose option number 7. With this you can again move out the reserved credits in Bank into one of the member's account. Fig. 3 NOTE: Everytime you make a transfer, 3% of the transferred amount is charged as Transfer Fee - which in reality isn't much (for example, for 10 credits, you get 0.3 credits added as transfer charge). ????[/tab]In case you want to bypass the BANK and transfer directly to somebody, you still can - using the same Transfer Screen. Instead of entering BANK as the recipient, you enter the other member's nickname directly. A 3% charge is levied in this case too. In case of announced rewards in lieu of a particular job, this can be done ONLY BY REPUTED & LONG ESTABLISHED MEMBERS - who won't create a scam by running off with the work and NOT PAYING. ????Under all other circumstances, one has to go through the BANK when announcing a reward for a job. ????For each transfer, you'll receive an automated mail acknowledging the receipt of the transfer. I hope you went to the page: https://support.xisto.com/ - right ? If you're getting this message there - no problem - once you reach this message, press ok and wait. It might take upto 15minutes to finish everything regarding creation of your account. Xisto and Xisto - both use the same scripts for these operations. New scripts are first tested in trap and then used here. Quite often, you'll find the messages relating to trap haven't been changed - but it's not really of any significance. It'll work just fine. Try and let me know.

Since I got no further reports here, I believe it was only two members whose accounts were affected. Their accounts have been fixed and credits restored. Anyone else with similar problems should report back immediately.Regards,m^e

Oh ho ho - what can I say - real nice and classy Damn, you're good man.Okay, I'd definitely need a watermark free copy to showcase it on an IPB skin.. but not right now. Am setting up a dummy board so we can test all the skins there. I don't think there's any other skinning GDK that enables you to plug all this in - at least I'm not aware of it. So what I intend to do is take the standard skin and replace all the elements.. The standard skin is fast loading and with changed elements will look real cool.So whenever the dummy board is ready, I'll get the watermark free copies from you and put them up there.. So will it be for other entries .. and then we can take an opinion poll there.PSD filesize wouldn't really matter, coz in the end it'll be all individual small bits of graphics.Regards,m^e

Haha yeah.. the whole endless-cycle thing about that animation is mindblowing.. I infact made it into a wallpaper and put it up on my desktop - so I could play around with it whenever I liked. It looks even cooler when it spans the whole desktop. You should try it. Best is to move the mouse somewhere towards middle right - so your animation's smooth but not too fast.. then just sit back and keep watching it..

This problem is NOT related to the problem soleimanian stated. What you say is a quite a common occurence, and it arises out of PHP being NOT COMPILED with the --with-mysqli suffix, which doesn't allow it to communicated properly with mysql 4.1.x. The only fix it to compile PHP again with that suffix and all will be fine.

No problem with posting links, as long you do it for review by other members. If it's a link on a related topic and you want a review mostly by people who share an interest in that kind of stuff, it can be done in a particular interest group sub-forum. For reviews by general public, you can use the Website Review forum. Only prohibition is against advertising other sites/hosting. If it's your own site, you can always put it up for review.
