Is there any particular reason why you'd need a TV tuner card? I mean, watching TV on your computer seems kinda pointless to me, anyway. The only good reason for it is if you had the means to record TV shows or movies onto your harddrive, kinda like TiVo, and burn them onto DVDs. But that's too much of a hassle, and almost not worth it. The monitor wouldn't look much better than a TV screen, anyway. In some cases it looks worse. Digital cable looks bad enough on a TV screen as it is (my parents have a 38" TV, and you can SEE the pixels in the image), so imagine how pixellated it will look on a monitor. Ugh.

Games like Panzer Dragoon Orta and Mech Assault: Lone Wolf make me wish I had an XBox. I've only played Crimson Skies, Sudeki, Halo 1 & 2, and a few other games I can't remember, on XBox. Do you know if Morrowind and Fable are any good? I heard Fable was really short. Damn Peter Molyneux. His games are always awesome (Prince of Persia, Black and White, etc), but so so short.

Tripod is lame either way you look at it. I mean, any site that offers free web space but limits what you can do with it, plasters ads all over it, throws pop-ups everytime you go to a new page, and doesn't even allow FTP transfer is crap in my book. This includes Angelfire, Homestead, Geocities, AOL Hometown, and MSN.

I think it's amusing how some people react to my odd behaviour, me being 22 and all. Sometimes I act really silly, other times I'm just sarcastic. Either way, most of the time when people guess my age, it's either 17-19, or 24-26. Just depends on the day and my mood, I guess. I don't think I look 22, though. I'm not sure what age I look.

Try Coheed and Cambria. They rock.

You're correct on that part. So far the only game I've been compelled to play on the DS at all is Super Mario 64 DS, only for nostalgia's sake. I owned the DS for not even a week, and I returned it. I kept Mario DS, though, because I'm rather fond of the game, but the DS is crap. It has promise, (though having a few pixels die in the top screen within days of buying wasn't very promising) but come on, Nintendo! Take a hint from Sony and cater to adults and teens for once! Sure, GameCube has Resident Evil games and Eternal Darkness and Metroid Prime 1 & 2, but that still doesn't make up for the overwhelming abundance of children's games as opposed to the few games for older audiences.

Nintendo Ds Coming To The Uk On March 11

I'd wait on buying the DS for a while. I dunno if anyone else had this problem, but I had a few dead pixels on my top screen. Ya remember what happened with the Advance/SP thingy? Well, chances are, they're gonna find something wrong or say "Hey! Let's make a better version!" and re-release a newer version of the DS. -
I'm 22, and drinking & smoking lost it's fun once I turned 21. I guess it's no longer fun when they're no longer illegal.

I have a 40 gig iPod which cost $300 (ouch), but I don't EVER regret buying it. I've got over 75 albums (most of them I own on CD) on it, and I can use it as an external hard disk. Photos CAN be stored on it, but not viewed. One nice feature is the ability to store and view small text files, so you can put in reminders or even lyrics. The battery lasts up to 12 hours (though it seems less sometimes), and I've got over 1500 songs on it. The software I use with it, iTunes, is awesome. It's got customisable playlists, shuffle, radio, and equaliser settings. My only gripe is this (and this applies to almost every mp3 player I've used): no seamless playback. You have a live recording on CD, and you rip it to the player. Well, even with no 2-second pause like some CDs have, there's always those gaps in between tracks, no matter what. The only format that's bypassed that limitation is Sony's OpenMG format, also known as ATRAC3(plus), which is pretty crappy anyway.Which brings me to my next point. Another nice little player is the Sony NetMD Walkman. It's a little more pricey, but NICE. It's small, sleek, fast, and smart. Although I have to gripe about their SonicStage software. I don't know how to work it very well....I also have some advice for you: Stay away from RCA/Thompson's LYRA player!! It is a HORRIBLE abomination of technology that should be exorcised and burned at the stake! It freezes A LOT, has poor battery life, and loads extremely slow. Bad, bad RCA. No cookie for you.
