The Xenosaga Story In A Very Big Nushell SPOILERS
lordofthecynics replied to stifmeister659's topic in Computer Gaming
Try explaining the synopsis for Xenogears, which is the fifth and last part, Episode V. Now that game had one heck of a story, and was twice as long as Xenosaga I and II combined. -
Iframes (and Other Annoyances) Grrrrrr
lordofthecynics replied to lordofthecynics's topic in Web Hosting Support
Wow. I can't believe it was that easy. I added in the underscores and they all worked fine! Now the only problem is getting the "World of Glass" title to reappear when you move the mouse away from a button. Everything else involves change appearance and rearranging things and whatnot. -
Iframes (and Other Annoyances) Grrrrrr
lordofthecynics replied to lordofthecynics's topic in Web Hosting Support
I don't know anything about PHP, so I guess I'm kinda screwed there...I tried naming the frame and putting in the target as you suggestedm but that just makes it open in a new window. -
I'm using Dreamweaver MX 2004 with a combination of design and coding, right? Should be simple to make a rather simplistic but cool-looking web site. Easy, right? Well, when it comes to iframes, it's not. I don't know exactly how I did it in the first place, but I used the iframe tag set (using DW's nice little "insert tag here" feature) and now I'm rather lost on how to get it to work right. Anyway, I'm blathering here, so I'll get to the point. Go to my webpage and take a look. You'll notice that the news.html file properly displays within the iframe. Well, click on any of the links on the side, and you get my temporary pages, only they don't open within the frame. What gives? Anyone know how to get them to open in it like the news file does? Also, if you highlight a link on the left side, then move the mouse away, the title bar goes blank, rather than showing the main title again (those are images, by the way). So how do I fix that? Thanks ahead of time to anyone who contributes any info or comments on this issue. ~Andy

Drawn Together Animated Characters in a reality show
lordofthecynics replied to EJay's topic in General Discussion
I love the show. Especially the one where they poop on the pizza, the one with Bleh, and the first episode. That show rocks my socks. I literally piss my pants laughing every time. -
According to Gamespot.com: WiFi covers a MUCH larger area, and most likely will allow the PSP web access from just about anywhere.

And here I was reading the subject, thinking it was gonna be a annoying little fart, like a chihuaha or something... Either way, big or small, that's a disturbance. You can call the police (or animal control, I think) and report them.

Member Levels what are they and how do they work?

So the Level system really has no use other than post count then? -
The PSP has WiFi multiplayer capability... Mmmm... WiFi... *drools*

Yeah, even the old Pentiums had to have a heatsink-and-fan combination on them to keep them cool. Heck, the some of the PII/PII MMX chips required a HUGE heatsink. A motherboard with one of those sometimes could only accomodate a specific CPU. I've seen CPUs that looked like a stick of RAM. Really odd.

Linux is awesome, I just wish I knew how to use it.

Wow, you've been quite busy for these two weeks. I've been here longer and hardly post more than once a day. -
I got some rocking fonts, if you want some.

Sounds awesome. I wonder how much they're gonna cost.

Yes, Norton is a MAJOR resource hog. I couldn't stand how slow my computer was when I was running it. And Avast didn't help much either. That one was slow as heck. I'm trying to find one that's pretty fast and reliable.

Crazy. Instant ASCII art! Awesome! Too bad you can't just stick in an image of your own and make it into ASCII art of your choice.. :|

What Do You Think soulnetwork.tk
lordofthecynics replied to alexwhin's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I think it's cool. The animations are pretty cool. The ads are just... ick. Perhaps you can edit the source file in Notepad and remove them? I think it's odd that it's got Yahoo ads when it's on a .tk site. Maybe because you had the site previously hosted on Geocities? Poor you. -

A good question would be.... why does it have Yahoo ads when it's not on Yahoo? -
I got one with two sleeping cats on a bed. One looked up and yawned a BIIIIIIIIIG yawn. Made me yawn, too, and I just realised how tired I am, and it's 5 in the morning. I'm gonna go piss on the back of a dumpster and officially declare it to be MILLER TIME!!
