Here is the signature I made using the blending technique shown in this tutorial. I used the same render that is in my current signature but I brushed a background to give it a different look, I also changed the color and text.

Yeh after I made my first post I had already changed my mind that I wanted Michigan to win... I still figured Ohio State would win but that is irrelevant now... Ohio State defeated Michigan 42 - 39. Despite Michigan losing they played way better than I thought they would.

I also made another version with a little bit of a pattern... what about this one?

I just finished making a Scion tC signature for this forum and I would like for you guys to rate it from 1-10. Also tell me which one you like better. Scion tC WITHOUT Emblem OR Scion tC WITH Emblem OR Scion tC WITH Outlined Emblem NEW OR Scion tC WITH More Contrast + Pattern Personally, I like it better without the emblem, to me the emblem just doesnt look right, I tried almost 45 minutes trying to get the emblem to look just right & thats as good as I could get it to look. Maybe you guys might have a different opinion about it though.

When I made this thread I didnt intend for it to give anyone sick idea but im sure anyone who wants to cause tons of problems has probably already thought of something such as that. Personally I think its a very interesting topic & if it is actually possible to block all computers from each other then the government really needs a backup plan, at least for all the financial parts of the internet.

When I was creating this topic I was thinking about something like that but I couldn't really come up with the right words to explain it and it still sound correct but that is another thing I have thought about before. If all computers are connected somehow there could always just be a way to block each computer at once right?

I can understand that completely but what I'm trying to say is that many people here have a favorite section of theres. For instance there are one or two people who make up tons of poems and post them, yes they are good at it and yes it helps them build up their credits. Other people are very smart and makes topics daily in the "What Is..." section, they still get the credits and they fill the section up with interesting topics. Now in my case I think I am a little above average with photoshop & I like to make sigs, even though when you post a sig in the showoff section you don't get credits I still do it, but I am doing that for the forum, not one bit for myself. Now in the other peoples' cases when they post a poem or an interesting "What Is..." topic they are not only helping out the forum but they are also helping out theirself. I can easily see where you are coming from and I'm sure you can see where I am coming from. Each side can make strong case but I think there needs to be just a little bit of a change.

The only parts that give credits are the Tutorials, Resources, Graphics Crew, GFXTrap.com Updates, & the Other section. There are also just a few parts of the "Sigs" section that give credits, the Gifts, SOTW, and Tournaments sections.. I could see where people could be taking advantage of it but that is the reason for there being moderators on here, to give them warnings. It seems to me like this website has great moderators and I think that if you would make the credits count under showoff they could definately handle the very few people who would be taking advantage of it.

I have always wondered if it is impossible to destroy the internet all together... is this even possible?If it is possible to destroy the internet what would you have to do? Would you have to destroy all the Internet companys like comcast and aol? Or would that not even take care of it? Just think, if someone took down the entire internet not only would our lives be boring but it would basically destroy the U.S. & other big countries all at once.

I really find all that Roswell stuff very interesting, I don't know much about it at all but it's something that I actually wouldnt mind learning about, same goes for Area 51.

I think posting in the Showoff thread under the GFX Section should be counted for credits. That is probably my favorite section. I am not making this suggestion for myself but the Showoff section is really one of the major parts of the GFX section and it doesnt even count credits.I dont want anyone to get mad at me for making this suggestion so if you dont like it then just leave it be.

Very well said, that was one point I forgot to make. That is probably why I like the green one a lot better than the others. The white curves on the green one looks more transparent, probably just because of the color green but if you lowered it on the others they might look a little better also.

Who is your favorite college football team & why?My favorite college football team has to be the West Virginia Mountaineers. Mostly because i'm from West Virginia & I grew up watching them. Whenever they are playing I always have this wierd adrenaline from watching them. No other sports team ever gives me that kind of feeling, if any team comes close to doing that to me it would have to be the Cincinnati Reds. I guess it might just be because thats the only team I love to watch & can't miss a game.I also love going to the West Virginia Mountaineers football games. I always have tons of fun. Even though im only sixteen every time I go it seems like we will be parked beside a group of college kids and everytime I end up playing the drinking games. Morgantown is one of the coolest places & I can't wait to go to college there.

Yeah I don't really prefer any of these teams but I will probably want Ohio State to win since Michigan is ranked third. Im a Mountaineer fan so if Michigan loses maybe West Virginia can move up ahead of them in the polls and if everything else falls in place like Florida, Arkansas, Notre Dame, & USC getting beat then just maybe we have another chance to play for the National Championship.... thats highly unlikely but I gotta hope for the best lol.

I just looked at Area 51 on google earth and found something really interesting... I cant really tell what these things are in this picture. I found this location just a tiny bit west of Area 51, I think its still part of area 51 because its probably not even a mile away from the airplanes. Do any of you have any idea what they are?

Well, I cant really tell you how secure Mcafee was when I had it but I never had any viruses that I knew of. One thing about Mcafee I liked was the feature that showed the blocked viruses or attempts to access your computer. When Mcafee would block something it would show a detailed report about it, it would even show the exact location where the attack was sent from. If you are looking for a free firewall I would go with just looking on http://download.cnet.com/windows/ for one. But if you are looking for a paid one I would go with AVG. Not much of a contest but Gmail is definately better than hotmail. The main reason is the space, with as much space as gmail gives you there is virtually no way to run out. I also like how Gmail has invites, I think that eliminates people getting multiple accounts for no reason, even though there is still a way it makes it a little more difficult. I also like the way Gmail is set up, I like the way you navigate through your email and the search features they have. When Gmail first came out it was the email service out there, but now that they have been out for a while other email services are starting to give out a little more to try and compete with Gmail.

They look good but they are very basic. Your first one is your best, it blends in with the background the best and the transparent white part at the top goes good with the green. These would be very good images to give to someone so they could put their name on them.

Yes, I agree. When I was doing this template I was messing with that emblem for a long time trying to get it to look cool & I just couldn't do it. If I remember right I think it was just a letter on some sort of font that I have and I just used some settings to make it look cool but sometime today or tomorrow I am going to try and do something a little better with it to make it look a little less blurry.

Here is a graphics portfolio template I made a few months ago and never did anything with. What needs improved on this template? What are some of the good things on this template? I think I know the reason. It might just be possible that its a lie... I think if this whole thing was true everyone in the world would be millionaires by now.

It looks alright. I think it will look a lot better when you have more content to look through but its a decent start. I woud suggest having a little bit more creative links on the left side of the main page something like some buttons that say Home, Forums, Downloads, Tutorials just to give it a little more color and creativity.
