Hi, everyone. Do you ever came across any FREE pixel fonts for flash? I need to use them for small type faces as flash is not able to display small text clearly.I know that fonts for flash offer a few free ones but I need more. can anyone direct a link to download the fonts, thanks a lot.

You are paying for something which is not what you get. E.g Buy a porsche, go and hit 200km/h after 10 min... the speed drops to 100km/h. A noraml car with 100km/h will overtake you soon. All the software cateogry, games included copy ideas from one another and apply it differently. I am glad that Bill gates did Windows. can you imagine if Apple is the only company that sell an easy to use GUI? Our computers today would not be so cheap. Macs are good but over-priced. Apple is holding on to the monoploy of manufacturing Mac machines and controlling prices. The market share for Macs worldwide is sliding. With the advancement of software, PC could do what Macs does. P.S = Apple used to advertised themselves having an egde over PC in graphic design. This is not so with the invention of Adobe Acrobat and Open Type Fonts. (read and install on Mac and PC platform)

Do you mean edit swf? If so, there are a few available. sothink swf decompiler is one of them. It supports flash 7 and is able to resave the swf to fla format. I suspect it will not be totally reversible... but then you are abe to edit in flash again, why not! While editing and resaving swf to fla may be good if you have lost the source file. The better way out is still to learn the software.

I have came across people making a living by selling stuff on ebay. They just work from home. Maybe if you got interesting stuffs you can set up an account to sell it. It's the easiest way for a start. If you do web portals... then your content must be solidly good before you get people visit your site again and again. try to concentrate on only 1 or 2 area with a target audience in mind, e.g kids, games, dating.... etc.

To me it is in fact a waste of time. After playing, I get addicted and skip lunch, dinner and meeting with friends. I loose sleep and keep playing and playing. I think the games companies are the ones making profits and it is inly good for them. Furthermore I read that playing too much games make you stupid and stuff like that. So when my computer crash. I stop installing all my games and get on with my "normal" life.

Rollback the driver and use the old driver. The new driver may have a conflict with your system. Anyway if your system is working properly why do you need to update it? I have bad experience updating drivers and wasting a whole lot of time. Does it have to do with your refresh rate? Try it out.

I use Dreamweaver MX 2004 with Fireworks MX 2004. It's fast and easy especially when editing graphics. For ftp I using Dreamweaver bulit in FTP. Nowadays I seldom use Photoshop for graphics unless I am resizing very big images as Fireworks is just to slow when working on big graphics.For motion, I use Flash MX 2004. Hardly work create gif animations since flash grown very popular. Maybe someday, someone will write a software handle most task in web instead of using so many stuffs. I simply to lazy to switch back and fro all the time.

windows messenger... it just comes with any windows OS and it's widely available. Everyone using windows will have one and you can chat right away. No need to ask your friends to download from certain website and trouble installing it, wasting time and money. Furthermore, they may not know how to intall and configure all thses technical stuff.I hate installing too many softwares on the computer.

Heard about that, any linux user there also use it? How the the speed like when you are using emulating software like CrossOver Office or Wine? For Mac, using emulator to run Windows is actually quite slow. If it's slow.. it defeats the purpose of running it in a professional, critical environment. It's best to run in the native code i think.. hope macromedia and adobe will come out with linux version of their flagged application. Especially for Adobe... since Apple had been eating into their share in fonts manager, video editing and effects software. Linux maybe another door for them. Till then I refrain from using it.

The fonts looks nice, but i am wondering if there are any sites that provide FREE flash font besides fonts for flash? Small font doesn't look nice on screen especially on laptop. I hope Macromedia will do something about it in the next version. It reall defeats the propose of design the whole website in flash if the fonts are barely visible.
