Yeah I hear you out haslip, but I have been working on another forum software that is about to be released. It's just that it wasn't going in the direction I wanted it to, so I've gone out trying to make my own. And like demonfire said, I have some other coders backing me up, so I'm hoping this all goes well.

I'm going to start a big venture, and try and build my very own forum software. This is so I can use on all of my sites, and have it the way I want it to. What I want to be able to create is something similar to punbb, with the social features of IPB. It's a difficult task, some I'm need of some people to help me. Well the software I'm using, Mybb, will only support php 5, so I'm out of look. Plus, it's going to be released pretty soon as well.

This what you do, Do not upload any videos to your site. Instead upload videos to places like youtube, and embed them to your website. It will save valuable bw, as to uploading it to your hosting account.

Well most people now of rapidshare.com or rapidshare.deYou also got http://www.2shared.com/ and I think http://www.gigasize.com/ But, I'm not too fond for these sites, as they're mostly used to distribute warez files. There's not too many people that actually use them for legal purposes.

Listen, I'm all for Xisto and if bringing back the ads if it means more money towards Xisto, then I'm all for it. The ads didn't bother me, and I clicked them every once in awhile, so did a lot of other members. I think other members will agree with me on this, and I think it's for the better of Xisto and Xisto

You could put ads on your site like adsense, or adbrite. But, unless your sites getting a large number of people, your probably not going to make much. There are a couple sites that you give you money for doing surveys and such, I don't personally use them but I know a couple of people who do. Another way is if you sold a particular service like web designs, or skin designs something like that.

Welcome to Xisto, before you do anything you probably would want to read this. It's the Xisto readme, and states all the forum rules, privacy policy, and introduces you to the credit system, which is how you achieve free web hosting. Anyway, you follow those, everything here will go smoothly.

Is there any chance for Xisto - Web Hosting to upgrade to php 5.2.4, since we're currently using a much older version. I'm just wondering because some software is coming out, and can only be used with php 5.2.4.

Wow, 32 bucks for those features. And doesn't Xisto - Web Hosting charge roughly that amount for one year of hosting, plus features that 110mb wouldn't think of having? Yeah, that's what I call a big time scam, as you can see 110mb is struggling, so there forced to do something, but I cannot see how that helps.
