    I think, installing xampp will be easier that going thru all these steps!

    The problem can be solved by using the new sitemaps feature from Google Sitemaps Itself!

     

    Now, we can see one extra option, if we click the dmain name inside the sitemaps!

    Select any domain name and go to >> prefered Domain from options!

    So that, we can give the default domain name to be displayed in the search results

    and also we can show the bot that its the same stuff we are using!

    Hi all,

     

    I'm having one Gogle Adsense account!

    I'm using that for my funny Pictures forum:

    I was using the code on the file:

    root/templates/myTemplate/overall_header.tpl

     

    Somebody told me that, its illegal to use adsense code in the overall_header.tpl file!

    Is it true? :) I'm not aware of the matter!

    If anybody having a clear idea about the adsense program, please help me!

     

    Anyway, I'm not going to try my luck,

    Just removed my code from the overall_header.tpl file and added it to individual files like:

     

    root/templates/myTemplate/faq_body.tpl (to 1st line)

    root/templates/myTemplate/index_body.tpl (to 1st line)

    root/templates/myTemplate/viewforum_body.tpl (to 1st line)

    root/templates/myTemplate/viewtopic_body.tpl (tot 1st line)

     

    Is it acceptable now?

    Please help me friends!

    You can create one Google Account ( Not Gmail Account) from here:

    But, If you need to get gmail, you need to get one invitation from an existing user!

     

    US, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Newzealand, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey persons can get gmail accounts without an invitation!

    they can join there by using SMS!

    Yes, you can do that. You can either change your default domain name (subdomain -> domain), which costs credits, or park the new domain name. Either way, you have to set the domain nameservers to ns1.astahost.com and ns2.astahost.com

     


    But the problem is whther Xisto provides the options to change the MX records? / Managed DNS service

    Because I need to use Google Hosted as my email service provider! :)

     

    My present server does not provide that option!

    But they are giving one IP for the hosting!

     

    So (presently) instead of changing the Name servers at my domain registrar,

    I had changed only Address (A) Records to poing to the hosting server,

    so that I can use Google hosted for my mails by editing MX records at domain registrar!

    Since you are not asking about the forums, there is no difference. Both services offer the same plans, and the only difference are the forums. Here at Xisto, we deal with a wider range of technical topics, and some people might find it difficult to post.

    Google Hosted is now renamed to:

    Google Apps for Your Domain

     

    and the link also changed to:

    https://www.google.com/enterprise/apps/business/

     

    So, if you need to use Google Apps services ( includes: Gmail, Google Talk, Google CValender, Google Page Creator ) for you domain,

    just setup at: https://www.google.com/enterprise/apps/business/ and the address for that will be:

    Hai friends,

    Statscounter.com is now rocking with Recent Visitors Map on a Google Map!

     

    Click on a marker and you will be given all that user's details. This can be found under "Recent Visitor Map" in the left side menu with the rest of the stats options.

     

    Nice new feature from them!

    (google Analytics is already having the same feature )

    I cant access "Frequently Asked Questions" area! :)

    ( Which is redirecting to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ )

     

    By clicking that, it shows one error message as:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '<' in /home/faqedit/public_html/index.php on line 300

    Whats the problems with that?

    Is it for me only?

    or for all members??

    Orkut recently changed the codes for avoiding spam!

    So many of the old scrapping softwares wont work!

    I got another software named Orkut Cute

    Download it from here (Latest Version 7.5)
