  1. I thought that harvest moon was one of the greatest RPGs I have ever played. I know that the days seem kind of routinely but I like it, its simple but fun. I like how you actually have to interact with other members of the community to have a really successful game. Tending to a garden, animals, and harvesting things from the mountain can be kind of relaxing. There are so many different little secrets that you can go through to get new recipes, money, and friendliness with other girls. It is a great game, and I have tried the different versions such as the N64, playstation, and gameboy; but of the three my favourite would have to be the N64 version. I don't know why but I found it to be the best because it wasn't too complex but not too simple to the point where it was boring. It does take some getting used to, and time is really chasing you in the N64 version so you have to work fast and efficiently. You don't want to let down your grandfather now do you!
  2. This anime has to be one of my favourites. Strangly I don't here many people talk about it! That and not to many downloads with good seeders >_<. Well the story is about a girl, Sora, who wants to join the great Kaleido Stage! A gymnist at heart she trains really hard and soon becomes accepted. Unfortunately it isn't all fun and games and she would think it is. The anime is comical yet dramatic and you really don't know what to expect. It is sadly only 2 seaons! But those were the best 2 seasons of my life . I suggest this anime to anyone really because it is a good one for all ages. You could learn a few things from it XD
  3. Lol I wish that I got requests from other sites to link back to mine! That is besides the point though, I would have to agree with jlhaslip. When you are linking to other people's sites it should be a little bit related with what you do. Because sending links to random sites doesn't look good at all, and people wont really use your links if what they click is random. So really it is no help to whoever it is you were supposed to be helping. The problem with linking sites blindly is that they could be selling bad products, or simply tricking people into giving them their money. The best thing to do is if you are linking sites to people you do not know personally is go to their website and see what they have. Browse around and click the different links. I'm not saying that if they are selling something to buy it, but just see if they look like a legit company. That is the best way to get links from people you don't know. Also about the better 'ranking' sites than yours, yes it is a good thing to have, but having websites that don't as much traffic is good if it seems like a place that SHOULD be getting good traffic. You have to help others get started as well too! Because to those higher rank websites, they are trying to help you too. -Jester
  4. Ah, yes, Resident Evil 4 was awesome. I loved this game so much. I had a great time playing it and it wasn't like any of the other Resident Evils. Although I have to say that it lacked the zombie touch like all the other resident evils, it had its own, new generation "zombies". They were much smarter and much more organized. And they still tried to bite your face off haha. The story line was pretty good, because you had to save the president's daughter from an evil cult, and it was a lot more solid obviously than the other resident evils. Let's be honest people, who really cared about the story? It was all about killing the zombies and seeing how long it would take you to die. For Resident Evil 4 they really dumbed down the puzzles. It is not nearly as hard as they were in Resident Evil 2 (for example) where you had to do the craziest things, and put the pieces in exact spots facing the right way, etc. etc. And on top of all that most of the time in Resident Evil 2 it let you use any item so you didn't even know it was the right one let alone facing the right way. But hey like I said everyone wants to just kill zombies, and in Resident Evil 4 thats all fun because of the actual aiming system. The lack of ammo from the other Resident evils really didn't help considering you couldn't either. Saving for Resident Evil 4 was nice and easy, no need for ink rolls or anything because the typewriter was always ready. The boss fights were also fun and considering you could save right before them made it even better. The chance to buy weapons, upgrades, ammo, and a lot of other nifty things was also a good part about Resident Evil 4. Overall I would have to say this was the best Resident Evil I played. Although it lacked a little bit of the toughness as the other R.E.'s it still had its own little thing. And I still just want to kill 'zombies'!-Jester
  5. Ah yes I know what you are talking about. Some people call this the "Grandpa manuver" don't ask me why. But people use this techinque all the time and it isn't hacking it is just a smart way to use a no scoping method. Some people also try and target someone by putting on "see play names" and when the name occurs they shoot. Why? Because you must obviously be targeting the player! But this is a much faster and more effective way. Though i woudln't draw on my screen, I would probably put a piece of tabe or something on it. Obviously not scotch or else I couldn't see it! Haha. Well cool trick, very fun to use, but I rather not because it takes the fun and pride in a TRUE no scope.
  6. Yeah good job on the forum I like it. Though may I make a suggestion? You might want to capitalize the names that you put for the different categories. It just makes it look nicer. Good work on the different subjects that people can talk about though. I'm sure people can find something new to post on the forum. Especially since it is so big! Hehe. Keep it up, and get some members and it will be awesome. Love the skin.-Jester
  7. Wow I like that wetpaint.com. It has a lot of idfferent things to it where you can some cool information about TV shows and games. Really easy to use and a very nice colour scheme. It was realy easy on the eyes and I love the logo. I actually might book mark that site and browse around a little bit later. As for your site, it is also a pretty cool website, although I am not much of a cricket fan it is still good. I like the scheme that you did on the wetpaint site, the black/blue looks very nice. You don't really have much on it but I'm sure that will change in the future. Though I think that i will stick with Xisto as my host because it is a great host and I like how you get a lot of free "roaming" when making your site. Thanks for the cool site link though :XD:
  8. Well the website is pretty cool, and I like the colour scheme. It is very soothing on the eyes which is a good thing. Though I have to say a few comments, but just my opinion on upgrades. For one you don't really need some of the categories that you have. Some seem rather uneccisary. For example the "Register Now" isn't really needed because there is a link right about the forum that allows people to register. Also the "Forum Review" and "website review" are basically the same thing. If anything you should use a hack for invision to create sub forums. Then move some of the main categories you have to sub forums. It will make your forum look a lot nicer, and a little more advanced. Also, there are a lot of game forums out there. So you might want to ask yourself what really makes your forum unique compared to everyone elses. So maybe try adding things if possible? Well good luck, doing good right now :XD:
  9. I know the people you are talking about, and I frankly agree that people shouldn't go out of their way to make fun of, or negatively criticize something just for the sake of it. It is one thing if someone asks their opinion about a certain subject but to go out of your way is just sad. It really is. I even know people in my school who make fun of just about, or say some sort of comment about, everyone who walks by. It is really disgusting to know that people like that even exist. I don't understand why people can't simple calm down, or keep their mouths shut. Have none of them heard of the saying "If you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all."? I mean honestly is it really that hard not to say anything! It makes me cringe knowing that people like that often to seem get "back up" from others. I know in my school if you make fun of someone usually there will be at least five other people behind you to back you up on that comment. Even if the person you made fun of has done nothing wrong except be caught by your jerk-radar. But like a lot of people say, what can you do? The best you can do if something like this happens is ignore it, or stand up and do something about it. At least tell them what they are doing is wrong, if they still continue doing it, then let them. If they wont stop then, they wont stop later. I am just hoping that they get taught there lesson when that kind of attitude doesn't work in the "real world" (grown up years). Also to the support they get from their friends isn't exactly helping much either. So to them I am also very disappointed at.-Jester
  10. Yeah I agree, I tend not like to smokers. However, I don't mind that people really smoke because it is their choice. I don't think that I will ever be a smoker because I can't stand the smell, bad breath, and horid yellow teeth. Plus it is proven that smoking is bad for you, so why do it? Well that is a personal opinion, but I also respect the choice that people had made to smoke. My dad is a smoker, and he smokes a pipe for the most part. My friends come over and say they love the smell of his pipe, but I think to everyone out there, other than smokers, the smell may smell good at first but soon it becomes disgusting. Thankfully though my dad is not a person who would smoke infront of those who don't like the 2nd hand smoke, and does make sure he is in the correct area to smoke. So for that I am thankful. But there are people as you said who decide to smoke in the wrong sections and smoke infront of you during a conversation. Some don't even turn toward the other way to blow out the smoke which makes it even worse. Hopfully the ones you know who do that will at least put it out if you ask them too. I have never had to worry about that becase none of my friends are smokers, at least not public ones, and my dad will make sure the smoke is blowing away from me.But yes, I agree, I tend not to like 2nd hand smoke mostly because of the smell rather than the heatlh damage.
  11. I don't think the answer is to "get back at them" because the only thing that will cause is a mini-war. If people just got back at one another for every thing someone did, then it would just never stop till something really horribly happened. I agree with what people say about ignoring them and just leaving them alone. Because if you want to really just end it, then that would be the best way. Personally I would kind of want to know why such things went down if it happened to me but sometimes that just can't happen. So simply try to walk away from them. You can't really do much else. What I'm trying to say overrall is don't seek out revenge because that will only make things worse. The best thign to do is just leave it be and walk away from it. Some people think that this is just a way to run away from your problems, but to me its a way to solve it. I'm sorry that things like this happened, and betrayel is probably the worst that could happen between two friends.
  12. I would have to say that a lot of people do tend to feel as though they need to think that there is something more out there. Even when it doesn't have to do with "God" or a "Supreme being" people like to explain things through supernatural activity if it cannot be explained scientifically. So in that sense I do feel that people are afraid to be atheist. Some doubt themselves, thinking "what if there is someone or something". Others just want to feel as though they can believe they will be somewhere else after death, and not simply have everything go "blank" so to speak. Overrall what I'm trying to say is that in my opinion people are afraid to be atheist for the most part. Because to me people created God, and God did not create people. People simply wanted to believe there is something more. Although I am not atheist, and I do believe in Supreme beings, that doesn't mean I am afraid of believeing in nothing.
  13. Yeah I personally don't quite agree with you because I don't believe in the "What one doesn't know wont hurt them". Sure I suppose that they might stay happy that you are true to them (or so they think) but really you are just hurting them in the end. I mean what if the breakup gets bad and you mention that you were cheating on them the whole time, that could just make it much worse, and they could just break down completely. I feel that you shouldn't cheat on anyone if you are exculisive with them. Though I know that in some cases people let their boyfriends or girlfriends, or even husband/wife have sex with other people as long as they run it buy their partner first. And to make sure they are carful of course of STDs. Though I don't really find anything wrong with this, I personally would not have sex with another even if permission was granted. But again, that is a personal thing. I don't know many people who see cheating as the way you do. And there is nothing wrong with your view of cheating just a bit contriversial. Anyway, there are my two cents, spend it how you wish-Jester
  14. Wow that really sounds like you didn't have a very fun time with your Xbox 360. I personally have one and I like it. I enjoy playing things like Oblivion and on the occassion Halo. Though the bannings weren't really a problem with the Xbox 360. Xbox Live did ban you for a legit reason, and you did accept it which was a good thing. As for changing your name people probably find that offensive in some way. You can't really have names like that anymore because it seems if one person is offended than just about everyone is. At least according to the company. Though at least you got over that as well. As for your Xbox breaking down that really sucks. I know that my Xbox actually broke down too and I actually just shipped it in yesterday for repairs. So hopfully that will work out all right. Though like I said the bans were kind of on you and wasn't really a problem with the Xbox. So maybe you should just think of it as a "Well that sucked but oh well" situation haha. Instead of putting it in your pile of "Why Xbox is frustrating". I know that I find the Wii's selection screen a little annoying because half the time I click the wrong thing or I can't find my cursor. But its just an "oh well" to me.Just a little helpful tip that might make you enjoy your Xbox 360 a little more rather than being frustrated by it. And again, it's still a new system so as for your console breaking down that sucks but its bound to happen. I know that the PS3 and Wii I'm sure have their share of problems. No I can't name any right off the bat but just an assumption. I personally have not had any problems with Xbox Live and I don't think I ever will long as if you just play smart and don't do anything might be against the Rules of Condec. As for discs scratching? No I don't have discs scratch for no reason, however one did scratch when my brother had the Xbox on and he accidently knocked it over and scratched it up really bad because the disc shifted. But that is understandable. Other than that, no I haven't had a problem at all with it. And as for the red lights of death? Like I said above, its a new console, and a very expensive piece of equipment at that. All the new generation consoles are trying to bring out new technology so there will be kinks and bugs to go along with it. The rings usually just appear with the "old" Xbox 360s, the ones people bought that JUST came out. But same happened to the PS2. The consoles that just came out had a problem playing discs that were made later on because they could not read them. Anyway, I hope that you try to look at your Xbox 360 and Xbox Live a little more positively but I can understand if you don't. Better luck to you.-Jester
  15. Your design is really neat and I like it a lot! It is very simple but not too simple so it is still interesting. I am glad you picked this theme I can't wait to see some more content on the site! Great work
  16. I loved all of the "Age of..." games. They were so fun, and probably my favourite of the RTS that I have played. Though I have not played many I liked this because the difficulty settings actually made sense. If you put it on easy it was easy, and if you put it on difficult it was difficult. Most games like Warcraft III (at least for me) seemed to be hard no matter what setting you put it on. So I never took much interest in the game and just decided to quit. This game really did have it all too. I loved the different things you could make, advancing in technology, and of course being able to actually build a fortress. I personally used walls a lot to keep the enemy out. It worked very well, and I would build a Wonder sometimes if I was bored. The fighting in the game was also pretty fun. Using priests to convert, and sending in large amounts of foot soldiers to charge into another group. The game seemed pretty balanced out so no one "race" was overpowered, or had any advantage what so ever. The maps were also very easy to adapt to and you didn't need to change your strategy completely because of how the terrain was situated. I also liked making my own maps and setting players, it was a great deal of fun. I do miss this game and I really need to get it back! Thanks for the reminder -Jester
  17. The Best thing you can do is really just be there for her! Like people have said, the best you probably can do is just talk to her. The emotions she bottles up can't be a good thing, so you got to help her with that! I know that I'm not a very open person but hey I let my steam out some other way. I just know that there always has to be some way for someone to let out whats inside them. If you stick by her, the best thing you can really do is hope for the best, and hope that everything turns out ok for her. I know that a lot of my friends always seem to get in a rut, and always seems like its really only going down hill. But I have to say that a lot of them are a lot better now. They really need an ear to listen to them. So there you go! My advice, just stop, sit, and listen. Trust me, it might not seem like it is doing much but it is actually helping a lot.-Jester
  18. I can't really decide it is a tough choice! I have played the Wii yet but I heard it was pretty awesome and I like the control concept of movement. The games seems pretty neat, but I was never much of a nintendo fan personally xD. It seems like a console which you would have at a party because it seems really cool to play with friends. Though I do have an Xbox 360 (though it is a little pooped out right now) and I love the games on it, I can't really pick it if I have never played theWii! I like the cool action games on it and the shooters. Wii seems a little lax on shooting games and the controls would seem hard for them too haha. But we'll see! So as for my vote: Undecided
  19. Hey there, just wanted to stop by and leave my two cents or so. You seem like a nice guy and I'm very sorry for what happened. You know some peopel find it easier to talk to people they don't know or have never met before rather than someone they are close to. So it's natural nothing to worry about! As for the situation. Like other people said before you should remain the way you are and try to see what happens. Though I find it a little strange to feel differently as "quick" as she did. Though you never know and the definition of quick can be thought of differently by different people. I just feel that if she did care deeply about you than they would possibly have lasted longer. That is not saying she doesn't, perhaps she still does. Just be nice to her and hang with her, maybe she'll re-realize she likes you xD! Stay positive, even whenit seems like relationships have hit rock bottom they haven't. They are simply going through a dip. Life's a fairy tale I say. And when you hit a rough spot it is simply the plot making a twist. Up to you, the hero of the story to change it and make it better! -Jester
  20. That really sucks man. I know what you mean though, a lot of people seem like they are just out to poke at others. You can't really help it sadly, and it ticks me off so much ~_~. I have seen it around my school, and in fact the people I "hang out with" generally seem to do that. Sometimes I feel like they make fun of our have to put their input on EVERYONE who walks by. It really makes me angry and I am sure the people they talk about don't exactly find it too flattering either. I suppose some people really just get their kicks off or are compensating for their own lives by pushing other's down. The best thing to really do is when it happens to you is try not to let it get to you. You have to remember that people are probably doing it because they are probably trying to comfort themselves by making others feel uncomfortable. Cruel. I know. But that is what people do sometimes. I wish I could change it for all the innocent people out there. -Jester
  21. Awesome website and I like the website. I enjoyed the videos also! The layout is nice and the colors go very well for the theme of the site. Navigation is easy and the forum looks pretty nice. I love the flash that you made for the "Team" link. I can't tell you how to really make it much better because I don't exactly airsoft much (though I do have an airsoft gun! ). Good luck on it, great images btw (banner and such what).-Jester
  22. I agree with what you are saying and that people shouldn't be forcing on their beliefs on whether there is a superior being or not. No one should be telling others that they are right or wrong about the topic because they can't 100% prove that they are right. Sure people say "Well how could the earth have been created? The odds are too small so someone must have done SOMETHING." And some atheists say "But there is still a chance for it all to happen. And the world was built on chance." I think that if you have the ability to think for yourself then you should think for yourself! Don't tell people what they should believe in.As for the debate whether "atheism" should be considered a religion or not, does it really matter? Whether you classify it as a religion or not people are still going to believe in what they want to.Well there are my 2 cents.
  23. Hey man that's great to hear that you have been going for a year! I know it can be really hard to have a long distance realationship because of the physical contact also (hold hands, snuggling, things like that) can be pretty luring. I'm glad you guys have been doing well and I hope that you can keep on going. Hopfully you will not have to keep it a long distance relationship. I'm sure if you guys keep in touch at least and stay in love you will be perfectly fine . Just make sure you keep on doing what you are doing and you will be fine . Good luck with everything and many blessings.-Jester
  24. Yeah I play this game on the occasion when I feel like shooting people to death ! I love the maps that peopel have come up with since the start of the game with only the regular maps such as dust, aztec, etc. Now they have new variations of old maps like cs_assault. I love the weaponary also, I generally play 1.6 because you can use custom skins which just make it look better hehe. I think a lot of people play this because sometimes it does give you a bit of an adrenaline rush, and everyone knows first person shooters are pretty addictive such as Halo, Call of Duty, and many others. And come on people, who doesn't want to just go out and reek havick on the occasion
  25. I have also used tables at first but after a certain amount of time I have tried to move away from it. Once you get the technique down to using non-table web design then it looks amazing, easier to handle, and its just overrall neater. But like said above a lot of developers are comfortable with tables and wish to stay with them... But if that is what they like, than more power to them I say. Great threat, post, and information serverph!
