I like phpnuke just because i have the most experiance with it. My current site im running for a clan is using nuke and its working well...except for the times the site runs slow because of either many db quiries or Xisto is slow because of too many users or something.Heres the site made with phpnuke: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Well I thought it was a sorta unique style and not something everyone else is doing...The backround is all brush work and with imageready I made it lively. Thanks for the comments though everyone, I appriciate them.

"gamer Buys $26,500 Virtual Land" (from Bbc News)
SilentWarrior replied to wonbin's topic in Computer Gaming
OMG! THAT IS SO CRAZY! I knew MMORPs were very popular and tons of people are playing them, but what is the world coming to? People spending real money in a virtual game is the absolute like the biggest thing a nerd could do...why not spend money on a real house than spending money on a house in game that you will eventually quit playing. Things like this I think are just stupid...but people think otherwise. I used to plya PlanetSide MMOFPS...the only fps game that is massively multiplayer, I loved that game and there is no cash system involved and it was still the best game. -
sad thing is...in some of those less developed countries like you said...selling pirated goods is the only way people can support themselves and make some money. The US government should be spending time and resources to find alternative methods of preventing piracy, such as improving the under developed nations. The people dont do it for fun, they sell it cause they need money... get them a real job Much easier said than done, though.

I am curious as to if Xisto has a small affliate button that I can use on my site. I would very much like to advertise Xisto on my site and will do so if someone has made a small button.

There was an excellent article I read in a Wired magazine some months ago that was all about Piracy of media. I believe that normal people like me...who, dare I say, download music etc. from p2ps, ftps, or whatever...are not a real threat to the US government or publishers which is why the government is strickly hunting down the top source and the people who are putting up copyrighted material. If you cut off the "head" of the underground networks than the people under it loose the source and thus this is the most successful way for the U.S. Government to combat Piracy.

Im wondering what the majority of the clan people use here. Shared or dedicated? Dedicated is definitely the best but costs alot per month. What do you guys think are the best hosting for the best price? So far I have found http://ww43.recongamer.com/ really good for shared and i found the best dedicated server deal at http://www.softlayer.com/ on a blowout sale they are having on a few of their servers, with no setup fee.

Can't Install Add-on Scripts - Error Message
SilentWarrior replied to ket's topic in Web Hosting Support
In cpanel the whole addon scripts page looks differant as if it was changed recently. phpnuke and phpbb forums are on the left column under community stuff and on the right is all the other scripts which only about half now work cause it says Sorry, your current hosting plan doesn't support the requested feature. Please contact server admin to upgrade plan. -

Why doesnt he get a cracked vesion ? Because that is illegal and you should know better than posting and suggesting illegal activity, although Im sure more people than less download music, games, etc. It is still something you should not mention in forums because it is against the forums rules 90% of the time. Anyways...I use photoshop CS and it is the best 2d imaging program out there. Ive been using it for about 5 or 6 months now and I dont know where I would be without it! THere are almost unlimited possibilities and greatest features. Now for html/php editing I use Dreamweaver MX 2004 and I will look into PHP Expert editor because Ive been looking for one. Anyways good luck everyone in their making of teh websits

I use both Internet Explorer, and FireFox...the only reason I still use Internet Explorer for some things is that FireFox has errors or cant load some sites properlyOnce Firefox is completly web friendly and so on I would completly uninstall Internet Explorer because it would serve no purpose. But sadly I still need it to open certain sites that FireFox cannot. Luckly I use ZoneAlarms and have various other security programs that will prevent any viruses or anything coming through the dreaded Internet Explorer.

What I dislike about Firfox, even though I use it...Is that there is no true uninstall feature...I had to completly reinstall it a couple of times to try and fix a problem I had, but I noticed that when doing so, It remembered all my bookmarks, cookies, skins, etc. Even though i did a full uninstall and deleted the directory....although I have fixed the problem now, They should really not make it so hard to completely remove it from your system. Oh and here are some good images of FF:

Photoshop CS is the only way to go. It is the most advanced graphic design program and pretty simple to learn and use. I have been using photoshop for over a year and love it!
