Im running an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ right now, im upgrading soon to an AMD Athlon FX 3400+ with 2mb cache, its gonna fly man also people talkin about pentiume being better, quite frankly its not. Overall the AMD Athlon gives power and better game performance than the Pentium at a more than cheap price. But on the other hand the Pentium 4, especially with hyperthreading is pretty sweet for running multiple apps, also the P4 is just quicker at running apps tho too. Just hard to get over its steep price, I have been lookin for a cpu for this p4 board i was given a while back and its the gay socket 423 one that was made for only god knows why cause it isnt the standard but ne ways the cpu's on ebay are still running US$100+ even for a lame 1.4ghz or so so i still dislike pentium and give AMD a big thumbs up for being such a great company.

PC Beats mac any day, im not biased but it simple beats the mac because it is the norm for the pc world. On the other hand the Mac is great for photo editing and graphics altho the cpu is physcially slower, it is faster than any pc at running PS and other gfx editing programs i give the mac a big Thumbs Up for that, altho i loath them, and they are so goofy with a 1 button mouse, even tho i know you can right click, and you can also purchase a 2 button mouse for it. just goofy . I grew up with macs in gradeschool and have had all but good experiences with them, maybe that is why i hate them so? ne ways I dont think its possible to build a mac yourself, i dont think apple sells the parts. Ne ways, if you want to have a mac type evnironment just use SuSe Linux or something.

Ditch ms firewall, dont use nortan cause its friggin gay, and zonealarm is needlessy complicated. Go to https://www.symantec.com/, they have a great free software firewall for download I use it, i reccomend to all my friends and family to use it and i can safely say that i have NEVER been hacked even when i have asked people to try (**Note, im behind a router as well) and I have NEVER gotten a worm or virus just from being online so I give Sygate Personal Firewall 2 Thunmbs Up

Is there much diference in performance from 8x to 4x?. My motherboard also runs at 4x. I have feeling that it will crash performance at least by 30% if 8x card is in 4x slot.

didnt quite fully read your post, there is a difference between 8x and 4x, for one 8x is mathematically twice as fast and it allows for more complex texturing to be done also no your computer will NOT crash with an 8x card in a 4x slot, all agp video cards are backwards compatible it will simply run at 4x in a 4x slot.

$200? well for that price i would reccommend getting the ATi Radeon 9600 pro, because it is a very powerful card and now with all the new cards out its price has gone down alot and would be a very nice gaming card at a reasonable price. If your looking for even cheaper then i'd reccommend a Radeon 9550 or a GeForce FX 5700. Good luck and happy gaming ^^

LOLOLOL, proscripters? hmm cant be too damn pro when a newb like me that knows *BLEEP* about javascript and such but yes you CAN disaable both mouse buttons or just the right/left lolololo, proscripters hahahaha. When I moved out my parent's house I had to buy a ps2. Thats when I found out about it. I reserved it and got it about 3 weeks ago now. Its almost exactly the same. The port for the hardrive is missing (not sure how it hooks in) it has the modem built in, and theres an infared port on the bottom right (remote maybe?) Its quieter, it opens like the ps1. 0.o

ROFLMFAO, opens like the ps1? wow thats gay man one of the best parts of the pst is that it has a tray, not the gay pop-top on the old ps1. I also agree the new ps2 is a complete waste of money and is just a stupid money grab bringing 0 new features and actually losing 1 by using the pop-top... . Ill stick with my old ps2 it works fine still.

Lol, I only agree somewhat as to the fact that rm2k3 is easier but you cant over look the fact that rmxp is so much better lookin with PERFECT font, none of that run together crap like in 2k/2k3 and the scripting in xp makes it so versataile. You can basically change anything you want in your game using the scripting, such as menus, battles, just how the game works. I give RMXP a thumbs up, and RM2K3 get the thumbs down because the only draw to it is that it's easier to use and you cant script. Just my opinion ^^.

It would take alot of coding and time to explain to you how to do this, the best thing to do would be to find a free vb tutorial website that offers free source code, and im hoping that you know your way around vb and winsock cause without that knowledge then your not going to get very far. On another note, if you dont make it yourself then why even bother somone else to make the code, there are many free websites that offer a blocking utility in which you type the other persons email address that you tihnk is blocking you and it will tell you whether or not they are online, hope this helps.

you answered your own question there tasty , go to http://www.dot.tk/en/index.html?lang=en and you can signup for free .tk domains, you will get 3 free and if you want more then you can pay for them i guess, also http://www.namezero.com/ used to offer free domain names and by that i mean like http://www.yourdomain.com/ ^^, I think they may still offer it, they like to hide it tho, but maybe they stopped offering it. But i can vouxh that they gave me a free domain a while ago and it was wicked, now i need a place to host it and well, this is post #1/50 so im on my way. Hope that helped.
