afetr reading all the posts i cannot be sure bout wheather this discussion is about IM protocols or their generic clients so im gonna talk bout both: protocols - my personal favorite is GG most of you havent even heard bout it . i also use MSN and ICQ couse the are more poplular among vast communities. In theory most protocols are the same with small differences i have MSN couse its from microsoft and i love icq for being the pionier in IMP's and i will never quit using it. clients - generic is crap -- that a known theory and Instant messageing is no exception. The original apps like icq on msn *BLEEP* big time. The are alternatives that give more options or cut down on the ones that are useless and give a opportunity of using a couple of networks at once: - commercial - trilian - great app 100% bug free but it has a price - miranda(my pick) is an open source multi protocol messanger developed by 1000 of ppl round the globe. If there is a way to communicate name it and miranda has support for it. Its buggy more complicaded the normal but has loads of thing to choose from and loads and loads of plugs to use = just great

i agree that this time the error is not the fault of the DB Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/scioper/public_html/1/install/step1.php on line 444so it seem that teh scpipt is getting stuck some place ill double check on that but i ran yet an another test on a linux server this time and everythig went perfect so i dont know if the thing aint the foutl of the Xisto srever. During the install the process has to examine a big file and i guess thatt he time out (30s) is aint enough fot it. take care

as said before php is executed on the server so you need apache(as said Spectre) but the genreric pack need to be configured as well as the php binary and this can be difficult for a newbie so... i recomend a easier solution there is a thing called xampp aka apache friends its a full package including apache http server php 5 and 4 perl ....... and everything preconfigured all you need to do is unpack and install it download link: https://sourceforge.net/publish/ try google with xampp for more details btw. its all free under gnu

number one th thing is made is flash technology loads of programs generating swf animations but only one comprehensive -FLASH. To make sth good in it you gatta have skill and thattakes time - it took me a year to grasp the thing numer two what you are asking for is pure plagiarism the thing that can take you to the top is originality and further more if you wanna modifie flash ... well you gatta have skill to even know how to do it so make you own develop your own style and be significant or copy sth so nobody would notice

did you get a error message? dont now bout ver5 but 6 and 7 can import avis mpgs mov ...... with out any problem using the sorenson codec but be advised that this brings down quality wanna do it the good way: use virtualdub to turn the movie into bitmaps and than import them onto the scene

sorry that was a typeO i ment NOObies and i still uphold that NAV is good but the fact is that i was made for a ...users that were not into pcs so much i lets thru lots (mostly troyans) Kaspersky(KAV) is the best but not for a NOOB. and to be honest if one wants to be 99% virus safe i would suggest intalling both (lost cpu power needed)

for all those who didny enjoy this game : i feel sorry for YOU guyz this is the best game ever the only game with a 100% fullfilling story to it the best atmosphere i have seen so far in games and probably the best for many years to come to back my opinon up i will add that : im a big game"pirat" so i dont purchase em but those czech guyz who progammed it made such an impression on me that I'm looking out for the time that the original cds will be affordable (im poor)
