I have actually heard this rumor too, but to be honest, I think that Photoshop owns all other digital art software, but then again if Paint2 is default with the new Windows Vista, it could bring some improvements for default programs on the computers that run on Windows.

How To Make Image To Highlight When It`s Mouseovered
arcalypse replied to tempest's topic in General Discussion
This is pretty basic. It is good though because you'd be suprised how many people are olivious to this type of scripting. There is also a form of HTML that I use of the many. All it really does is take 1 image, and convert it to another when your mouse hovers over it, but if you have 1 picture that is dark, and another of the same picture just lightened a bit, it truly looks like it is highlighted. If you want the code just PM me. It is pretty useful.I perfer HTML over scripting because HTML is a bit easier to understand a lot of the time, but I wouldn't just blow this off because it can have some advantages some of the time, but like I said, it can get complicated sometimes, and a lot of the time if you make 1 mistake with Javascript, it not only ruins the whole script, but it also is HARD as HECK to fix sometimes, where as HTML is a lot easier to modify and looks a bit clearer to the inexperienced. -
Welcome back. I was pretty much in the same predicament so I can honestly say that I know what you are feeling.

No theres nothing wrong with being ambitious, also if I may congratulate you on your idea (which to be honest, is a very simple one I'm surprised no one else has thought of it before). I must also admit that I have a very limited knowledge of how LASER's, but I sincerly hope that you manage to perfect this technique and further refine it so that it can be used to provide a large protion of the power we need.I agree with this. I think it's a good idea.

Windows Vista Beta Available? There is one going around
arcalypse replied to scab_dog's topic in Science and Technology
I havent heard a lot about this, but I have heard the name so it rings a bell. What is up with it anyways? I mean I know it is going to bee badass but what is the scoop on it? I hope it's better than I expect it to be. It needs to be userfriendly. -
I disagree with that review. I do think that there are some immature characters at DeviantArt.com, but it truly is a revolutionary art system. I love looking through people's art and tutorials. DeviantArt.com has value. HIGH value at that. It would not have as many members as it does had their not been some little teeny wierdos there in the first place.

I dont really have a use for things like that, because I try not to make enemies so no one really want's my passwords. I mean, I don't exactly have an easy password either, but still. I don't think that anyone should be all that worried unless they are a *BLEEP* of some sort. Notice from Dooga: Please watch the language. Even if it's censored, it would be much better to practice a good use of language instead of having a machine do it for you.

Using Fingers Instead Of Credit Cards
arcalypse replied to Plenoptic's topic in Science and Technology
Well I agree people without hands would have other methods probably, but still, those ATM's could get dirtier if they used a method like toe prints or something like that. I mean that is the only other alternative that I see so... -
Welcome back. I don't really know you but hey...

Do You Believe In Ghosts? In the Spirit of Halloween.
arcalypse replied to LeAnn Rimes My Angel's topic in General Discussion
I don't believe in them. There is not enoug hardcore and tangible evidence. I am sure that there is "something" out there other than human lifeforms undiscovered, but I cannot be sure till I see it.I cannot say that I don't get freaked out about "coincidential" events though because I have had crazy things happen to me. Like when I was walking home one day, I have to pass this highway, and everything was quiet till I got passed it, then everytime I would walk I could swear I heard screaming in this house.Wel...Come to find out, the house owner was trying to sell the house for a couple of months, and no one was in the house, and apparently no one liked the fact that a woman was murdered in that house. It only happened one day, but it was enough to keep me looking over my shoulder. -

arcalypse replied to OpaQue's topic in Alerts, News & Announcements
Well, I think that the upgrade is worth it because I have been hearing nothing but talk of it's features and easy-to-use iinterface. Hope it is true in Trap's case. -
The Worst Way or best way to die pick one or give an example
arcalypse replied to kevlar557's topic in General Discussion
I think tat burning would be the worst, that or drowning, I mean nothing hurts more than those two. I would rather get killed with a gun which is wuick and painless than any of those. -
I think that they all look pretty nice Mike. You did a very good job on the logo. Keep up the good work your renders are so crazy.

I Got This Problem With My Girl I need a good advice
arcalypse replied to Rufus's topic in Dating And Relationships
I think that it's safe to say that you have a problem of great proportion. I am not sure if this is good advice, but I suggest trying to get her alone SOMEHOW, I know that there has to be a way to do it. -
I am a decently sizeable Harry Potter fan, but I don't think that I could go to a forum that is so widely huge as that one.
