Hey whats the best way to get some traffic? some visiters to at least come visit my site? where should i advertise? becuase i really want to get my site up n running to be very useful and i really want it to grow..please help a bro out =D need some advice from my Xisto peeps =)

hey you seem to know alot about php coding, how long did it take for you to learn as much as you do now? did you just learn it by yourself or did you take a class?? because i myself would like to know how to set up phpscripts myself becuase i dont really understand much at all. i can only edit stuff i can understand abit.

I have a phpnuke site...and i want to put up the ad onto a block that i can put up on the side...but i have to set up the right php code block with the code they give me for adsense. so i went to a site where they have a block creator and i pasted the adsense code and created the block which is now in php code...so i created a block called block-Adsense.php and added it from my administration panel on the phpnuke, and once i did that i went to check if it work and on the block nothing shows up...i just the block with the title "Adsense" but theres nothing under it...no ad or nothing..what did i do wrong??

Well i started a site for the breakdance community, i created it where people can upload their music or video file to an upload site such as quicksharing.com and put the link of their uploaded file onto mine where the visiters can download from. i think its a good way to share music and help the people increase their music library with the kinds of music that they want. hopefully i can get much more visiters to come to my site. becuase without them this may be pretty much useless. i think its good for the visiters to contribute and interact with the site. please check it out My Webpage Notice from mayank: Edited topic title. In order to add a download onto the website up mine you have to upload it or get it linked from another place. There is a form that asks you for Program Name, File Link, Author's Name, Author's Email, Filesize: (in bytes), Version, and HomePage. Now im using phpnuke and i want to change some parts of the form like Program Name to Artist - Title, or perhaps just take some of the stuff out like Authors Name. And where it says "(in bytes)" id like to change it to "(in MB)" instead. what do i have to do to edit these? help please i want this to work please reply if you know...thanks

YES nvm i got it working....instead i just made myself a Xisto.com email account and change my administrator email in my preferences to it. and then i retried entering a feedback n then tried checkin my Xisto.com account and there wus my feedback haha that so funny....

I only have a problem loging into my site if i enter it with http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ i enter with that url and log in, i login and they take me back to the sign in window again...its so annoying its definately becuase of the url i believe...but when i try using http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ i login and it works i can go on with what i want to do in that site...its weird i dont know i guess by how i enter the site changes the path of the links after i login...its stupid how can i fix it?

Well i tested by tryin to send myself a feedback and i receieved nothing in the mail about my feedback...i have no clue how to figure this out...i checked in my preferences and put down the right email address for myself im not sure wut else to do...do i have to get into any of the php files?? help me out ive had this problem ever since i started hosting a long time ago

hmm uh oh there really catching up on this stuff now huh. well anyways i heard that kazaa really sucks so i dont have to worry about me trying to install that, but limewire is another thing..there are just so many people that use it thou, i find it VERY RARE that id be caught and fined...but i too have bittorrent and bitcomet. but life is a full of risks and this is just one of mine

yeah Xisto IS REALLY KOOL, i joined awhile ago, and i cant believe im still here visiting and posting on it. I dont think ive ever registered on a forums even for my own and stick with it for this long haha...There arejust so many people that visit here and post up so many interesting things, there always seems to be something to talk about and respond to. its so useful, you can just learn so many things you wouldnt learn anywhere else, what a community

hmm good tutorial, thanks alot, although like almost everyone here already has a signature so your tutorial is almost basically worthless =P

the texture look pretty good but the colors needed to be worked on abit..the text dosent really go with the sig at all pretty much lol...just keep workin on it and you'll learn a thing or two as you go on...

i am glad to be drug free =) although ive only takn two puffs from a vanilla dutch which really didnt effect me much at all ill prolly neevr smoke AGAIN lol..i used to look up to this kid who is lke the best breakdancer on the east coast...but once i saw him smoke i began to have less respect for him..like i didnt look up to him as much as i used toalso if i was to see a girl smoke id think that would be disgusting and unattractive...i wouldnt go out with any girl that smoked...it would be very unhealthy for me and my family if we were to have one...i still dont get why people smoke...theres nothing good that comes out of it xcept for being high which only destroys you from being happy...it makes you more depressed which makes you want to smoke more..man....i feel like smoking....lol jk =P

yeah your not the only one kid..our school blocks off so many sites on the internet...it sucks so much weve sometimes found ways to get to certain sites but once you get it and try they block that off also...even if you dont tell anyone and just do it yourself they also manage to find out and block it...it gets harder to find things to do on the internet here...its really a pain in the neck...it blocks off alot of good information that couldve been used for my work...i just think they OD with it way too much

killing and shooting are two different things..he may not have actually killed him but just shot him..but if he did kill him then yeah i would probably turn him in but only if he wont know that it was me that turned him in...if he just shot the guy than nah i wouldnt turn him in..although it was by accident..but you need to tell us if the shot was a kill so we know whether he did kill him or not

im not sure what you mean by hot...by temperature or by how kool it is...but anyways the hotest place ive been has to be Las Vegas...I had such a great time there and got to see so many things...i never thought id ever go to las vegas...i went there for a gymnastics competition so im so lucky to be able to go there to see wut i did...there were so many lights there and it just lit up the night...if you know the place, i stayed at the luxor hotel..a really big pyramid hotel that had a huge lightbeam that shot stright up into the sky at night..if your interested to see more of what im talkn about just look it up luxor hotel las vegas or something..they even had its own casino in the center which was kool and when i went i was under age and i tried out the slots and got caught but we didnt get punished for it luckily..the elevators even went in an incline which was weird but i guess thats lke goiing on an escalator..GOOD TIMES

ima lifeguard so i lifeguard every summer and this will be my second year lifeguarding. i lifeguard at a condominium which consists with alot of old people lol. so i get to see alot of half naked sexy old people lol. but they pay is excellent. i get paid 12 dollars a hour and i think i might be getting a riase too =) work for lke 9 hours straight basically doing nothing becuase nothing ever happens. no saves had to be made last year so its pretty boring =D heh

i found in http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ if you go to the "windows" section on the near bottom left they have like the top 10 ways in tips or whatever on how you can tweak you registry to make your computer perform faster and other possible ways. In there they also gave you a link to download a program called TCP Optimzer for you interenet connection speed...before i downloaded this client my internet connection really sucked heh...around 4000-5000 kbps and after i used it it went up 10000-12000 kbps...pretty big jump huh it really good for me.. so now when i download something like off download.com i download at 1.2 MB per second =)

you know how try to put as much content in your posts to earn as much credits as you can in a post? well not only that i try doing that but i kinda like do the same when im talking to my friends online lol...like i would explain things more and say more than i really have to like i usually try to do here in Xisto lol haha...i dont know i guess Xisto is also helps people to communicate better like it kinda teaches us how to be more detailed and use better vocabulary and type with less abbreviations and slang. what do you think? is what happened to me happen to you, yet?
