  1. First of all...I don't remember Hamtaro replacing Sailor Moon. I thought it was cancelled way before then. Quite honestly, I didn't care much for it, although I know that quite a few people liked it (and I think a lot still do). I'm not really as angry at Cartoon Network as I was in that first post, so I'm now dealing with it better. As I've already said, I can't find anymore DVDs around here.. Anyway, I'm not complaining anymore. I can do other Hamtaro-realted things online (thank goodness there are a lot of Hamtaro fansites out there!). I can also watch all of season 1 online (in low-quality, though, since I have dial-up). I don't watch Cartoon Network very much now. Just about the only time I will watch it is during Adult Swim, because there's some anime on there that I like (not as much as Hamtaro, though).

  2. Yeah, I remember Invader Zim. I watched it some, and it seemed like a pretty good show. I also know a lot of people trying to bring it back on.I don't really know why I'm obsessed over it....Anyway, if there's something I like a lot, it's hard NOT to become obsessed. There could be a few things that caused Hamtaro to be cancelled...It may not have necessarily been the ratings (back in 2002, Hamtaro was the SECOND best new show that year), plus there are many other things I could defend that over. However, I don't think they were making much money from ads from Hamtaro. Honestly, a lot (if not most) of the ads shown during Hamtaro were Cartoon Network's own ads. Although, they still show Hamtaro on their list of shows (along with many other cancelled shows). However, almost one year ago (and Hamtaro was still cancelled), they showed THREE HOURS of Hamtaro (including a new one-hour special) during their "Saturday Block Party" thing. I'm now starting to think that they will start showing it again, but I'm not quite sure. I'm going to try to wait for it to come back, but I'm not counting on it.

  3. Well, I'm glad to know that there are people around my age (more than what I though) that like (or previously liked) Hamtaro. Anyway, I check Cartoon Network's schedule online to see if Hamtaro comes on (still nothing) about every week. Although, that first post I made helped me out...a lot! I feel a little less angrier now. Even though Hamtaro has been cancelled, I'm going to continue to get any Hamtaro merchandise I possibly can. Basically all I ever watch on Cartoon Network anymore is the anime on Adult Swim. The rest of their schedule I don't really care much for.

  4. Ok, well first, I have all the DVD's that I can possibly get around here (Hamtaro stuff is extremely hard to find around here). I can only find 3 of the DVD's, and I have heard that there are 6 of them. Also, no Hamtaro is not awful. Honestly, two minutes isn't long enough to judge something, but I do respect your opinion on it.

I think I've seen Gundam Seed. It seemed pretty interesting. Anyway, yes, Hamtaro is one of those few shows that are relaxing (non-violent). I doubt moving my website and petition over there'd help. Anyway, I've heard some rumors saying Hamtaro will be back on the air sometime this summer (I can only hope!).

  5. I don't think ratings had anything to do with it...but it may have. Still, though, it had 100's if millions of viewers. Oh, and you're telling me to go outside? Ha! I'm too much of a computer nerd to go outside. It's not brainwashing me at all...though I suppose it would seem like it is. Anyway, now that it's cancelled, I don't watch TV as much.

  6. As you can tell, I like Hamtaro (should I say, I'm obsessed with it), and Cartoon Network cancelled it from their regular schedule over a year ago! I've sent in many feedbacks with their feedback form (so has many other fans), but still nothing!!! I've sent in some nice ones, too. I've also started an online petition at my website....still nothing!!! I'm just so fed up with waiting!! I have no idea what to do about it anymore!!! It's like Cartoon Network doesn't even read our feedbacks that we send in! It's also impossible to find a mailing address so I can send them a letter in writing (It won't be hate mail)! I don't actually hate them, but they're just annoying me so much! Hamtaro was aired for a little over 2 years on it when it was cancelled!!! I know, it's just a show, but as I said, I'm basically obsessed over it (even though I'm a boy). I just don't know what to do about it anymore...I've seen other shows that were popular get cancelled, but they'd been on for more than just 2 stinking years! There's also only 104 episodes (not counting the specials...I think therre's 3 or 4 of those) that were releasaed, and there's well over 250 in Japan! A while back I actually quit watching Cartoon Network for about 3 months because of this!

  7. I'm not going to show a screenshot, but I have 29 icons on my desktop. I'd say I use..oh, about 2-4 of them. However, they're used occasionly, so I do keep them on there, that way I don't have to go through the Start Menu. Oh, and I have also seen a desktop that was covered in shortcuts (and I would assume that most weren't even used).

  8. Yeah, I agree. Pop-ups may be annoying, but they are a way for advertisers to make money. As long as they are making money from pop-ups, they will continue them. I have never seen any pop-up worth clicking (and most are blocked, thanks to Firefox), so they aren't making any because of me. However, most sites that I go to don't even use pop-ups anymore.

  9. If that's not what you're looking for, then try this:

You would have to add this to .htaccess (The PHP Manual says httpd.conf, but it should work in .htaccess):

    <Location /index>    ForceType application/x-httpd-php</Location>

That would make it run as a PHP script. Also, if you want that to be the index, you would also have to add this to .htaccess

    DirectoryIndex index

I hope that helped you. I don't quite know that much about this, though.

  10. Wow! You sure have a lot open! I wouldn't consider that a nightmare. Anyway, the computers that I am usually on couldn't handle having that many open at once. I do, however, usually keep about 10 programs open at once (slows down my computer and others that I use A LOT). Also, I normally have about 2-5 Firefox tabs open.

  11. I don't think that this theme is "geeky" at all. I'm not a geek, either, so that's not why. I think the theme has a professional look to it, and it certainly looks better than the old theme. Honestly, I don't see why you could possibly think this theme is "geeky." Anyway, by the looks of it, I'd say that a lot of work was put into it. I know I definitly don't want the theme changed.

  12. I do see what you are saying. However, it may be because those intelligent people are becoming lazy, and may not want to speak in correct grammar. I've seen plenty of places, and chatted with many people on an instant messenger, whose grammar isn't too great. Sometimes, I may not think, and I end up using some bad grammar. For some reason, that's just the way people are becoming online (and I've heard people speak bad grammar, as well). I guess it's just the way people are wanting to be.

  13. I originally started learning it on the internet. There was a site that I went to (I can't remember it now) that taught me some basic HTML. After that, I began looking at some of my favorite sites' source code. After that, I got an hTML book and learned most of what I know from it. Now, I continue to learn more HTML code by looking at other people's HTML. I also just messed around with some HTML code in Notepad some and learned a little there.
