  1. Maybe, you can try and show results in here. I am always opened for new technics But I doubt it will suceed in your way. Or maybe I am wrong? Cause you are changing colours in this option and IR is functioning like this.
  2. This my first personal page I have done. Please visit it and give me some feedback. Robert's Place Best regards, Robert
  3. I must agree on this one too. I looked at price for webhosting here in my country and must say this guys at Xisto are darn generous to us. If I wanted 150Megs for one year of webspace I should give to the local hosters half or more of my month salary. So I will stick with Xisto forever and hoping they will not die like all other freewebhosts in known. So thumbs up for Xisto.
  4. I don't see any point for going to Linux operating system at the moment, I have already tried it and must say it is darn good operational system, but I didn't see any operational value for me, since lot of software I use is coded for Windows only. Like poster before me have mentioned, Linux is for Webhost, for ordinary user I would recommend plain Windows XP, since lot of newer programs is coded for XP only (like Adobe PhotoShop CS) and some of hardware can be a problem too, but it is all matter of taste.
  5. Click for enlarged image First we open the image the image that will be converted to infrared mode. It is important that this is image that has lot of sunshined surface. Autumn time with lot of newborn plants and bluming trees are the best object for infrared images. We then make the copy of layer1 with Layer -->Duplicate layer --> OK. we must open afterwards Image -->Adjustments --> Channel Mixer... We check Monochrone, and then push slider for Red color to 200%, slider for Green to -40% and slider for Blue to -60%. Important thing is that sum of red, green and blue is 100% (R200%-G40%-B60%=100%) Click OK. We select upper layer named "Background copy", make right click -->Blending options -->Opacity -->80% -->OK. We decided to use opacity cause we want to have a bit of information on colours of original picture. So opacity will make layer of Background copy a bit transperent. Click for enlarged final result We save image afterwards in desired picture format and enjoying in our first digital infrared (IR) picture. I never have tried what image would have looked like if I used actual infrared filter. But from what I see this is giving good results anyway. A word on channel mixer. Wherever you will decide to make your images IR look, this values will not be correct for every specific image, so R200% is a starter, then we must decide about values on other two colors, this is G and B. Here is result with mixing values of R=-42%, G=200% and B=-58%.
  6. I agree on you here. Agression is totaly useless no matter what is the cause. I guess people have to free up theirs frustration on weaker ones, which is frankly said, the saddest thing people invented in a long time. I don't know why people can't uderstand each other, why lover and married once can't talk about their problems, why so many people are left behind. I guess lot of individuals are frustrated and selfish, which is danger combination.Maybe I am just under influence of losing my loved one.
  7. I made my first website few years ago. I used Miscrosoft Frontpage cause I thought it is good program, well atleast I knew what I am doing. Well I liked result anyway These day I am making new version of my image gallery site, at the moment I have only gallery online, but I am learning php or atleast using a script an so. I made integration of my guestbook , yuppie that a progress for me atleast. Ok , cya tommorow, it is late here.

    I Hate....

Hey, jeli sovra?tvo uistinu rije?enje? Malo me sve zbjegava. But you have right to hate, but this is neverending circle. Sure, I don't like their music and lot of people that are strange I don't like, but I can hate them. Maybe dislike is the answer. You always have ON/OFF button on your TV, where then you can go out instead of listening what you hate.Lijep pozdrav.
  9. Huh, I think this the most touchy subject you can ever bring up. Especially when you put yourself in a position when you must decide about having or not having abortion.Serendib explained and presented us experience from a situation where she/or he witnessed the actuall process of abortion. I must say I still have picture in my head imaging how this X-ray picture may looked like, and I am not pleased with my thoughts, and it hurts. From other point of view someones in here mentioned that woman should pay for her sins . People, this if this is problem of a couple, then they should put their heads together and think over what can they do. I will not moralise or give some catholic preaches to anyone. Lot of issues have to be taken in an account here, like if this is actually a happy couple, if there was a rape involved, if child will be healthy - well here I can't be sure that humans are in a position of deciding if this person may live, cause it is totaly contradictory in my point of view, mostly cause this child may be an artist or a mathematician and so, if it is a loving couple this shouldn't be a barrier for them.So for epilog I will say that this must be regulated by state laws only.
  10. Yes, I know how you feel. Exactly. Well, I also had my car parked infront girl's house and at the night some crazy people got lose their frustration out on my car, so the broke my front mirror and scratch paint on my car. You can imagine the express on my face at the morning ....... Not to mention the police, we call then lot a times, cause that street is very busy at nights, but they don't do *BLEEP*.
  11. Hulunes, thanx, well actually I am still learning things about photography and stuff. I am using Canon G3 camera, which will be replaced by Canon 20D, but G3 will be staying home cause of its good performance, especially in picture quality. Well for all you that are seeking knowledge in photography, visit this sites: Photo.net DPReview Luminous Landscape
  12. I have never thought pictures from REM would came out so great, I was suprised too, cause of using ISO 200 on my Canon G3 camera, but thanx god lightning at the concert arena was really great so ratio signal/noise e.g. bright spot vs. dark spot at arena was really high and contrast, so picture was really low noise.Well I just take pictures and once in a while I get good results, I also have one project picture, that is flute with notes which was taken for a brass band.I need to carry my camera with me all the time :PThanx for nice words about my work, Caveman.
  13. My Webpage OK, here is my updated image gallery. There are some new pictures from R.E.M. concert in Slovenia. I have also used new script for gallery. Please visit it. Best regards, Robert
  14. I would consider Matrox videocards which are having really good reutation about 2D graphics and true fullscreen video output. For more information go here. Parhelia Series of videocards supports also 3 outputs, which is really great, but price for them is kinda high
  15. I would definitly suggest PhotoShop CS to you, if you can afford it. Photoshop has good RAW files support which I am using for my Canon G3 camera. Ok, you always have alternetives like Gimp, which is free software, IrfanView and ACDSee. For a starter Gimp should suite you just fine, or you can also download trail version of PhotoShop and you will see what is the best for you. Gimp
  16. Well in your situation I would decide for a laptop, since you are becoming big schoolar guy, you will be needing portable computer e.g. laptop for your presentations at school, or making some work on a field, taking pictures with digital camera and using USB for donwloading pictures to your laptop. Laptop will make you flexible in your school projects and studying overall. If you are thinking buying computer for gaming, then decision is clear, desktop.
  17. This might also be Windows XP or Service pack problems, since you didn't list details of your computer I can only guess you are using Windows XP. Try using System Restore function to restore your software configuration to earlier date, or Deleting some strange programs that could be causing hangs of your antivirus software. Try using firewall and Adwatch programs too. I suggest you should be using this programs: HijackThis Lavasoft Spybot
  18. Ok, I see you have missed really great antivirus softwarecalled Kaspersky Antivirus. I really like it cause it always finds viruses if there some is try to escape on my computer. That happened few times being on the net. I dislike AVG and Norton Antivirus cause its lack in finding downloaded virures, this two programs let viruses to be downloaded to your computer while Kaspersky doesn't. I also heard NOD32 is really good piece of software and someday I will try to use it. Kaspersky has frequent update of virus database, like 10 times a day, while Norton or Symantec has 1-2 day, or more. Kaspersky Lab
  19. Horizontal scrollbar is due to image on location http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and it is 1037px width and then if you have some padding and margins added, it result in scroll bar. You can have dynamic width but you must take into account the smaller resolution you will be supporting.
  20. LOL, I have been working for 10 years now. Since 1994. In the same time I am visiting vocational college and I have girl which lives 100 km away from me. And I still find time to visit Xisto, have some parties with buddies and making some websites and my favorite photography. BTW, i am working in microwave department in some tellecomunication company, which includes working on mast in hard winter condition e.g. the only thing I really hate about my job.
  21. I find this little gizmos to be very dangerous, but EM radiation is very unexplored area. But testing on myself, when talking on cellular phone for 5 hours in the row, next day my head was really sore and my ear was all red. Especially G3 generation has variable power output, depending on a speed you are achiving on the net.
  22. In slovenian:Srecne bozicne praznike.Best regards, and merry christmas.
  23. Atleast your site will not suffer from incorrect choice of non-internet color. Oke, spice it up a bit with some cool graphic and making some CSS navbar and your site will become better looking in instance. Good site for webdesigners is Alistapart Best regards.
