  1. That what i'm saying. Im just not sure if we need that capacity right now. I mean yeah its cool and is a huge step forward, but very few things come on more than 1 dvd! So are you willing to pay excessing amount for a non-standard format which isn't really needed right now? Oh well, its still really cool
  2. Well i've actually heard mixed things about these contraptions. Good and bad. One resaid it just didn't work pratically atall and another said they were definitly the way forward in mobile technology. I havn't had any real life encounters with one but I really would like to try one!
  3. Well I was actually just brosing the Uban Dictionary like 5 mins ago! I just like putting random stuff in for comedy value. Because people input their own definitions wiki style, they also tend to put in hilarious dialogue like in a real dictionary to show the application of the word! Seriously come of it makes me laugh out loud! Some very bored times spent seraching it
  4. Well I guess the best thing is prevention really, but a power adapter with a serge protector this time Well luckily you covered and thats good The 2 weeks thing sucks, but bear in mind they probably have hundreds of repairs to do!
  5. Cool, im signing up. Its quite a clever name. Im guessing the "goowy" is a reference to GUI (graphical user interface) and as it is a supposibly improved layout that makes sense. Anyway, 2GB of space and nice functionality, im sold... Notice from Johnny: Fixed accidental double post.
  6. Haha, guess im just too gulible Anyway, I did see a documentary about a suposed "real" case of this as mentioned above...
  7. There is actually another post answering this exactly problem. Check it out here: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/31912-quick-tricks-for-defeating-undeletable-files-may-save-you-some-pain/
  8. Well I played Cokemusic for quite a while and I really enjoyed it. It is VERY similar to habbo (created by the same people) but has coke branding all over it. So as it is kinda one big advertisment, its free to play and get furni and you can make music and earn money from it. After I stopped playing cokemusic I tried habbo and it was cool, but I really wasn't prepared to may fair amounts of money for in game furniture. If I was going to play it lots I guess it would be worth it as you would pay lots of money for a retail game and/or subscriptions to other online games. I would say check it out, its worth a look and hey, you may find yourself playing. Ohhhh..... And on a side note, try out https://www.kingdomofloathing.com/login.php?loginid=0df0b518778840f4b82eb95b7c614440. Its a browser based game made in PHP and its made to be nice and simple on the eyes (black and white). When you first look at it you just think "what the hell" but after playing it for a bit you get totally sucked in! Its really fun and loads of really cool people play. The forums are really nice and friendly and the game itself is deliberatly very comical! Try it out!
  9. Well being a fan of the series and reading what you all said guess I gotta buy it I did really enojy the drifting races tho! I like the idea of the wantedness and trying to keep with the title and make it more "underground", its a good idea I just hope it pays off for me as a player. I will post back what I think of it once I play it for a bit
  10. Im affraid Counter-Strike: Source had to be done, although there are some very good ones to choose from. In fact I have been unable to play CS:S for a while due to computer meltdown Oh well to be sorted shortly I really want to start playing Battlefield 2, so when my new computer arrives I think that will be on the list of games to buy
  11. Oh and some stupidly simple but really quite good free browser-based game thats just made in PHP called Kingdom of Loathing, https://www.kingdomofloathing.com/login.php?loginid=0df0b518778840f4b82eb95b7c614440. Check it out, its suprisingly fun!
  12. Dude sorry to break this to you but AOL really does suck... My friend who is a well known graphic designer just terned them down on an offer to design the new AOL layout. They basically asked her to make it so it was like a money stealing device! She just plain turned 'em down. I fent AOL to be really slow and I really hate their browser... but hey thats just me, some people really like it

    Gay Marriage

Well I actually can speak from experience here. My mother is a lesbian, which is totally cool by me, its completly her choice... A few years ago, before its a considered an actual law binding bond for a *happy* couple to get married, my mother and partner had a marrage cerimony to celebrate their love and feeling for each other and to prove that they devoted enough to swear and takes oaths that they will stay together for the rest of their lives. It was more of a cerimony as neither of them are religious at all. However, it was really nice to see the celebration and to know that everyone there had accepted it included every member of both families! I think that anyone who is against *happy* marriages doesn't quite understand what it means to some people! I think that now it is legal in the UK by law, it help bring couples closer together and help breaks stupid stereotypes and helps the intergration between the straight and *happy* community!LoTech
  15. I've seen something about this before with some kid who is supposed to be some new massia to some religion or another who supposedly fills out all the criterior including a tail. Now seeing that 12 mellion people have one doesn't seem quite so impressive... Anyway still quite strange indeed!
  16. Downtime? If won't let me access it...LoTech
  17. Well fraid to say the story behind mine is fairly boring. Aquired money throught xmas and recent birthday and bought myself a ncie ?1250 computer off meshcomputers.com. Their computers are pretty damn cheap for what they are! So yeah, just a simple internet order really...LoTech
  18. Well unfortunatly I live the middle of nowhere in the English country side... Well here because of the old crappy phone lines we can only get a max of 512k broadband connection which sucks. Only 2 miles away they can get 8+ meg which kinda irrates me as the price difference isn't really that much from say 512k to 2meg. Oh well, just gotta enjoy my rural upbringing and accept it LoTech
  19. Uses for my computer (not in order) :- Gaming- Graphic Design- Web Design- Homework- Music- More Gaming - Suring the old Internet And well thats most of it really, probably most of the uses there are for a computer, minus paperweight :ph34r:LoTech
  20. yeah, things that pop into my mind are how much they will cost before the world starts to implement the transaction to next-gen mediums and what the first applications for these disc will be... I mean the specs and everthing are incredible and of course you would have to be stupid to not appreciate what these technological advance means but how long before we start seeing them around! Soon I hope!LoTech
  21. Well I'm just about to recieve my nice new computer with a nice AMD 4400+ X2 core I hope it runs as good and they say it does I do lots of image and video editing and I find my current computer being so damn slow and buggy while running so many applications that are power crazy, so the 2x cores and the 2gig ram should help If you can't tell I really am looking forward to this computer and also, a little more on topic, AMD are the way to go for gaming aswel, another hobby of mine
  22. Okay so let me start out by saying I have nothing against religion and this is strictly my view and I NEVER impose my views on other people, I mearly express them because otherwise that would be plain hypocritical now wouldn't it! No offence ment, purly a rant and again, just my opinion so don't feel like it is nessisarily right, just that I do get a little annoyed sometimes (if you couldn't tell). Thanks, LoTech Notice from BuffaloHELP: We don't have BBcode called RANT. Copied from http://www.huffingtonpost.com/cenk-uygur/if-youre-a-christian-musl_b_9349.html next time you use incorrect code will result in warning.
  23. Good luck getting it fixed. If its under warenty it just depends on what is in your warenty. I dunno if power surges count as your fault as I suppose it is nothing you could control therefore, as it was not you who caused the damage it should be under warenty. Anyway, good luck!
  24. Ease of use: MotorolaFunctionality: SamsungHATE!: Sony Erricsons! (contraversial )
