This is not a situation that I have personally dealt with, but I ran a search and found the following book: SPEECHLESS: FACILITATING COMMUNICATION FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT VOICES by a Rosemary Crossley. I was a real "goody two shoes" in High School. Got an award for 4 years perfect attendance. When I got to college and was a little more independent, I did skip classes on occasion. Not enough to fail anything, but it did put a dent enough in things that I dropped out of Integrated Trig and Calculus before I did fail. Then, I really think the whole subject was way over my head anyway.

I would like to believe in the Loch Ness Monster or Nessie as it is known. Just like I would like to believe in Big Foot, Sasquatch or Yeti. I do believe it is quite possible for mammals from ages gone by to have continued to survive throughout time. After all we are discovering new species, never before documented, on a regular basis. However, with all the hoaxes going on including this one Picture Hoax. It just sullies things and makes it hard to believe, don't you think?

Thanks for the explanation St. Michael. I found filter effects in my Paint Shop Pro once I understood what you meant by "filter" and went through all the Photoshop plug-in filters by Harry. They are just not listed as filters in PSP. Here is my entry. I did this one using the Glowing Edges.

You know, I have wondered about this as well. I have noticed what seems to have been a loss of more than the days I haven't posted. So starting tonight, I am going to screen shot my credits as I leave and check back, without posting, over the next few days and see how things are subtracting.

A very simple answer to your question; They just don't read the requirements! A lot of people are too lazy to read all the information they need in order to participate on Trap 17 forums and earn their site hosting.

Yeh, you can't get any support for Windows 98 from anybody except fellow users. Microsoft pulled the plug a while back and when I go to their site on my IBM formated puter it tells me I am running Macintosh. Pretty good, huh? I can't get anything downloaded from their site anymore either. Guess Google is an affiliate in this matter. :XD:

Must I draw my own render or does this mean I am free to choose any render subject matter I want?Personally I use Paint Shop Pro and don't own Photoshop. The only "filters" I know about are in my XnView program, one of which I used on my #61 entry, that is a Photoshop Plug-in; Harry's Filters 3.1. I have no idea if this type of filter is what the contest requirements refer to. Perhaps St. Michael could let me know and I will give it a try. However, if there are no other comers, it won't be a contest!!!!! And the deadline is here, unless he sees fit to extend it.

Me thinks perhaps the cycle has run itself out. Interest in this contest has waned almost to a halt. This subject was argued before and changes were made to try to revive it. Participation is down to 3 entries in #61. #62, which was opened over a week ago, has no entries as of today; 1 Sep 2007. Where have all the siggers gone?

Sounds like you know how to chill out ok. Perhaps a little too much sometimes. Exams are hard to prepare for when your mind is on other things like xbox360 and hanging with friends. Where in this big wide world are you? Schools are so different in different locations. Can you perhaps spend some of your time with your friends studying instead of just chatting or messing around? Sometimes it helps to get other peoples input on subjects. Form a group and exchange each other's views of the matters. Everybody can study the same stuff and get different things out of it. This might give you more insentive to apply yourself. Quiz each other to sharpen your knowledge. Good Luck! BTW, your post would be easier to read if you would use some punctuation. :XD:

It is difficult being a teenager in small communities as there are not a lot of interesting activities for you. However, there is not so likely to be a criminal element in smaller towns since everybody knows everybody elses business. Criminals more readily use larger populations to hide their activities. :XD: Get involved in extra curricular activities at school to save yourself from too much boredom.
