Hello Trap17 This is an introduction to the world of Jack
Mich replied to jack_flamer's topic in Introductions
Hello jack_flamer and welcome to Trap 17 from Mich, in Michigan, USA. I am a native Californian, but not gay. You can use the links just above my sig to learn all about Trap 17. You will need to know all this stuff to function in the forum. Just make sure you don't post a lot of one-liners, they are considered spam. It is not the number of posts you make, but the quality that earns you credits. If you came here for the hosting, you have come to the right place. Trap 17 has the best hosting packages on the web and is probably one of the most reliable. Very little down time, if any. Hope you enjoy your time with us. See you around the boards. -
Thanks people. Did finally get around to refilling my ink cartridge today, but the darn printer still won't auto feed. I guess it is time for a new printer as well as a new puter. Leaving for Las Vegas day after tomorrow. We are going out and back via Amtrak. Just love trail travel. ***Choo, Choo**** Was in Florida for 2 1/2 weeks end of January and into February. Guess you didn't miss me much , cause nobody seemed to take notice. If you want me to put a quarter in a slot for you, yell. Of course it will cost you 25 credits (just kidding). Keep the SOTM from getting buried while I am gone.

Grr. I just have to vent some since my day has been one of those days. Got up this morning to rain and snow combined. The temperature is wavering so much that the weather doesn't really know what to do. Booted up my puter to do some printing. In the middle of things the printer decided that it doesn't know how to auto feed anymore. Sooo, I had to hand feed each page. Guess what. While I was hand feeding it, it ran out of ink!!!! In total frustration I gave up at that point. I was not really in the mood for refilling an ink cartridge. Then I realize that I needed to get my driver license renewed before I go on a trip this Friday, because it will expire the day before I leave. So I had to go out in the yucky weather. As I stepped out the door, the eave dripped on my head and water ran down my face. That takes one's breath away. Got to the license bureau to find they were closed from 12:30 to 1:30. :fart: So I went over to Taco Bell and ate lunch; Double Decker Taco Supreme, yum. After going through all the routine at the license bureau, having my eyes tested, mug shot taken, and parting with $35; I went to K-Mart to buy some jeans. Found my size ok, but they didn't have the style I want. Need a cervical collar for my trip (to protect and ruptured disc in my neck), so I went to Rite Aid, Wallgreens, and 2 medical supply stores without any luck. Nobody seems to have them in stock. Since I am leaving Friday, there is no time to order one. Have one more place to check on Wednesday; our local Hospital. Came home having only accomplished renewing the driver license. Was in such a bad mood, I sat and vented while playing solitare on my puter. I still need to refill my ink cartridge before I can try to resolve the auto feed problem. Guess I will try tomorrow when I just might be in a better state of mind. *****Heave a sigh of relief***** Now I feel much better.

Hello Emily and welcome to Trap 17 from Mich, in Michigan, USA. If you become "a good part of this community" you will get your hosting with no trouble. That is what this site is all about. Posting on a regular basis to discuss, enlighten or debate different views. Just make sure you don't post a lot of one-liners, they are considered spam. It is not the number of posts you make, but the quality that earns you credits. You will also need to know how things work here. You can use the links just above my sig to learn all about Trap 17. Trans-sexuality is a quite a subject you have brought up. I don't believe I have seen it discussed on here since I joined 2 years ago. If you don't mind my asking, how long have you been persuing your transition? I understand that the transitional period can be very emotionally painful at times. Maybe discussing things here at Trap 17 can offer some relief. Do you have the support of your family and/or friends? Tell us a little more about yourself like hobbies, likes, dislikes, schooling, where you are located (general area), favorite passtimes, type of activities you enjoy, and etc. Look forward to seeing you around the boards. Edit: St.Michael is right. I do recall discussing things back then. I guess I had a senior moment just now.

Gee, thanks a lot. Now that I know the name I can at least search for it. Even if I have to pay to get it, perhaps I can find it in a collection.
-
Bump so this doesn't get buried!

Hey everybody, I need help identifying the font used in the above letter. I have searched most every font site on the internet and have come up with zilch. Without a name, it seems an impossible task. Does anybody know what the name of this font is?

Saint Michael Vs. Frakture - Voting
Mich replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Darn, I missed the voting. ****hangs head concealing tears of disapointment**** I guess I will have to stop going on so many trips. But then, I don't plan on being joined at the hip with my puter. Especially since it is a desk-top. It is a little heavy to take with me. -

Hello tuxcomputing and welcome to Trap 17 from Mich, in Michigan, USA. Another Techy on board. We can use your knowledge. Duh, then I don't even know what Joomla is. Goes to show how computer illiterate I am. I am here mainly for the graphics interest, but I do dig ecology. You can use the links just above my sig to learn all about Trap 17. You might need to check out how things operate around here. But then, who am I to tell about such things.

Gee, guys and gals, thanks for all the input. The adivce rendered will be ardently heeded. In other words, I will be more careful about such matters in the future. I have tried to keep my passwords unique and clever, but somehow somebody was able to crack it. My mistake did lie in the fact that I used the same password on these 3 accounts. I won't do that again. Again, Thanks to all!

Just a suggestion regardless of how the credit system works. If you are worried about your site going down because you are on vacation and can afford $10, you can buy 6 months worth of credits HERE.
-
Hello Tazr and welcome to Trap 17 from Mich, in Michigan, USA. Where are you" If you mean 10/30 credits, try making your posts longer and interesting to read. Got back from a 3 week trip to Florida to find 2 feet of packed snow ****where is my snow shovel?****, -13 degree temp ****shiver, shiver, shiver**** and that someone had hacked into my eBay, PayPal and Yahoo mail accounts. My PayPal account was attached to my credit union banking. Got an overdraft notice from them that tipped me that something was wrong. While my husband spent all day digging out the driveway ****swish, heave, work up a sweat**** so we could get the car in the garage; I spent all day getting control back for all those accounts. And explaining everything to the credit union. Ugh! They took things well and gave me back the overdraft charges ****ca-ching****. Thank heaven eBay and PayPal were on the ball. They both caught on that a third party had hacked into my accounts and put holds of them. I have to say that their security methods are excellent. PayPal had already reversed the withdrawals from my credit union. Whoever did this had been running illegal auctions under my account at eBay. The eBay on-site customer service chat was in contact with me and took care of everything. Fortunately the hacker doesn't seem to have gotten enough information to use my credit card that is attached to PayPal and eBay. But, I did call them today and had them close that account and send me a new credit card. I do hope that I have gotten everything corrected and things are back to normal, but who knows for sure? And how was your day?
