  2. Where are you located? And, just what is a Mackenzie Valley Wolf? Are you keeping this one as a pet? Are you working with local Wildlife organizations? As Ann Lewis has said, this is a project that should be reserved for Wolf Experts. Or at the very least, be co-ordinated with Wildlife experts.

    Introduction

Mich in Michigan, USA says Hello John aka:jobel602 and welcomes you to Trap 17. This is the best introduction I have read on here. I am the one who wrote the suggested guidelines for an intro; so a good one is really appreciated. I guess I won't have to remind you not to post a lot of one-liners, they are considered spam. It is not the number of posts you make, but the quality that earns you credits. You sound like a good addition to our comunity here at Trap 17. Knowledgeable people are always appreciated. If you do happen to need help, just ask. Someone will either answer you or point you to the answer. People here are very helpful and friendly. It is also good to see a fellow of the more mature persuasion like myself. Not a fellow, but more mature. I am in a remote part of the state of Michigan in the Manistee National Forest. Things here are rather behind the rest of the country. I am on a telephone connection still. Just upgraded my puter to Windows XP, which I am told Microsoft will shortly no longer support since Vista came out. What operating system do you use in your country? You seem to have a rather eclectic variety of merchandise in your business. I hope you do well at it. Yes building a web site will keep you up with the commercial trends these days. Internet sales seems to be where it is at. You can use the links just above my sig to learn anything more you might need to know about Trap 17. See you around the boards. Oh, I am an amatuer photographer. Still learning about how to operate a digital camera. My usual camera is a 35mm Pentax. I have a friend in Port Angeles, Washington who just finished his dark room. Am anxious to see his setup.
  8. I agree, this is a dangerous practice. There is a rhythm system that used to be popular years ago as well. Neither were very good birth control methods. I too am surprised that you have kept from getting pregnant for 4 years with this method. Haven't you heard of condoms? All forms of birth control have their short comings. Only abstinance is 100% effective. But I guess in your case that won't be possible. BTW, how did your test come out.?
  9. Believe it or not, we didn't hear the tornado warnings and it passed by us, thank heaven. We were one of the few that remained upstairs and watched things out our windows. Since we were forced to use our imaginations in our childhoods, we were able to occupy ourselves with other things, like reading and doing puzzles by candlelight. Yeh, when modern conveniences are cut off, things seem to be rough. Especially for those who grew up depending on them. Oh, we did have a battery operated radio.
  10. Why would I want to do this St.Mike? My site has been completely rebuilt by the Support Dept. I would hope that the support people know what they are doing and things have been working well lately. What would creating a new account accomplish? And I have no idea what "unpark your domain" means.
  11. Mich in Michigan, USA says Hello Edd aka:Yoji and welcomes you to Trap 17. Others have already filled you in on how things work around here so I won't be redundant. There are a lot of people from a lot of places on here. See you around the boards.
  12. Somehow I don't think one would ask such a question unless they were sexually active. The real question is have you been using protection or not? Spotting between periods is a common happening and usually doesn't mean a whole lot. However, if you haven't been using any kind of birth control and/or your partner didn't use protection, then you need to consult a doctor. As suggested, and OBGYN is your best bet, however, your family doctor can do a urine pregnancy test. Then of course, there is always the self administered urine tests that you can get at a drugstore. Whatever you decide is up to you, but if you are truely concerned, get tested ASAP.
  13. Can't get to your render. Link seems to be broken or perhaps incorrect. Best try again when you come back.
  14. I never indicated anger with OpaQue, did I? I was venting my frustration with the new Data Center. Everybody at Trap 17 forums, Xisto Live Support and including Shree have been very supportive. I appriciate all they have done to help me out. Each time I asked for help, it was rendered quickly and effectively. It is just that it took so many times to solve whatever was the problem and my site was down so much, that it got my goat. Hey, Support even restored my site from their backup since I am on a telephone line and my backup would take hours. Can't complain about that kind of service. Things seem to be up and running including my homepage site. Thanks for the Ctrl+F5 hint. I didn't know about that one as I am still a bit computer illiterate. I did find it on my handy-dandy Internet Explorer Shortcut List as "Refresh current Web page regardless of time stamps." Unfortunately I didn't understand exactly what that meant. You guys on here are always teaching this old bird new tricks. THANX.

  18. Since I am far from being a tech, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND ANY OF THIS. I don't have and never had any Addon or parked domains. I have 2 sub-domains. I went to my cPanel and recreated the 2 sub-domains. Their respective folders are there. 1 loads and the other doesn't. Why I do not know. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ isn't up from my location. See if you can get there. OpaQue: Maybe if I knew what happened I could explain it to you. All I know is that since the switchover my site has been down 4 times. Each time I contacted Live Support and they supposedly fixed it. Their fix lasted a couple of days and it went down again. I hope this fix 2 days ago does the trick. Sure it is working right now, but for how long?
  19. I am hopping mad. I have had nothing but grief since Trap 17 moved their Data Center (DC). My site has been down more time than it has been up. I have had to contact Live Support at Xisto 4 times now in the last month. This is ridiculous. They fix things, it lasts a few days and my site is down again. I am at my wits end. I have been told my support to contact Shree. I have already communicated with him and he told me that things were solved 6/16, then whatever happened, my site was lost completely and had to be restored from their backup. My whole account had to be recreated. I have been hosted here for 2 1/2 years and have not had any trouble until this change occurred. What the H___ is going on? I for one am not a happy camper.
  20. Thanks for all the kind words of support everybody. Further information on the storm of a more personal concern. My close friend's family had a lot of damage done to their homes. One of her grandsons had been replacing part of his roof during earlier hours of June 12th and had only tarpaper on it. The rains were so furious that the roof leaked, all his ceilings fell into the house in this area. Insulation and water destroyed the interior. They are living with his mother until things get redone. Their kitchen and bathroom were destroyed. The other grandson and his family sought refuge in their basement. When they finally came up they found that the French doors had blown open and there was 3 inches of water on their hardwood floor. My friend, herself, was one of the people that lost power for 3 days. I couldn't contact her, so I drove out to see if she was ok, and found her at her daughters house. She was find, just didn't have power. Her phone was out and she doesn't have a cell. After listening to all this, I feel blessed. We only had a limb down in the backyard. Since we live so close to Lake Michigan, we are down low. Most of the town as you go eastward is uphill (sand dunes) so consequently is higher and that is where the most damage was done. The worst of the winds hit the higher elevation. I guess we were sheltered from the storm down here at beach level. Thank heaven our roof stood up to the heavy rains and no doors blew open. Amen.
  21. Hmm. I caught the Oprah show too. This is a transgender person (female to male) who kept the female reproductive organs in order to be able to reproduce. This blows my mind. If this person truely embraced the desire to be a male, then why didn't she go all the way and become a clearly defined male. Males do not have female reproductive organs. It almost seems to me that this person wanted the attention that would come from the uniqueness of this situation. I truely pray that this child does not get emotionally screwed up by all of this. I cannot imagine the confusion this gender issue will cause in the future.
  22. You need to contact Live Support at Xisto https://support.xisto.com/. There is a box (button) on the lower right side to log into the live support. Good Luck.
  23. Hey, I only had 12 gig before and wasn't used up. I don't have a lot of stuff (programs) on my puter, so this should do me just fine. I have the zip drive and cds for backup of everything. Most of the games will stay on the old puter anyway. This one is for use on line and business. If I ever do need more room the guys at the shop can slave me another drive I am sure.
