It sounds like a hoax. Making an alarm clock like that would be so expensive that it wouldn't be worth it IF the technology to do it even exists. Where did you get this information from?

George W. Bush, president of the United States of America revealed this last weekend that he authorized the National Security Agency to listen to the phone calls and incercept the emails of United States citizens suspected of having links to terrorists organizations. George Bush backed by Secreatary of State Condelezza Rice and Attorney General Alberto Gonzales continues in isist that what he did was well withen the limits of the law and constitution. Bush has yet to cite a specific law. Wow! Thats a ton of memory! It dons't really matter ot me on my 512MB memory computer but on my older ones... I really hope Mozilla can fix this problem because Firefox 1.5 is GREAT in every other way.

Example: "ping http://forums.xisto.com/;(without quotes) 5) Wait for text to finish appearing on the screen. 6) The text on the screen should look something like this: Ping geocities.com/ [66.218.77.68] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 66.218.77.68: bytes=32 time=79ms Reply from 66.218.77.68: bytes=32 time=78ms Reply from 66.218.77.68: bytes=32 time=78ms Reply from 66.218.77.68: bytes=32 time=78ms Reply from 66.218.77.68: bytes=32 time=78ms Reply from 66.218.77.68: bytes=32 time=78ms Ping statistics for 66.218.77.68: Packets: Sent = 6,Received = 6, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 78ms, Maximum = 79ms, Average = 78ms The thing that we are intrested in is the very last number (shown in bold above). That number shows the average number of milliseconds it took the host to respond to your computers ping request. Note 1: Note that the response time is not limited to server's connection, but the Internet itself, and and user's connection. Note 2: The ping request works for checking the speed of all websitesm not just web hosts.
