MY laptop went slow after it was on 15 hrs a day and the problem...to much rubbish i dont use!a lot of spyware working harmfully try to slow it downalso windows XP, a good OS but not for laptops which are not supportive for it!

Hell no its bad!!!!this uses a massive amount of electricity,the parts in site the motors fans ect may ware down but the best thing too do isif you plan to leave it on 24/7remove unused fans to save powerreboot computer every hour to let it release built up energyand alsoremove anything that is not used and also usb remove usbs when on only plug them in when needed, monitor to go on standby every 30 mins, HDD to shut down every 1 hr so ondo this asn you computer should last longer and be as right as rain!

Are you using a BT Router? and router address is http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/? If yes you may need to configure the router setting and firewall As i have 134 Computers and 15 laptops where i work and i had to congifure then all to be allowed to view other files and the "Local Network" this is a simle problem i had to deal with it wight work with you,,, Try also configuring you Laptop/Computer, Check the Network card drivers are installed, Try searching for your router, If none of these work I HAVE NOT A CLUE
