I like it but the font to the left is plain, i'd say use smooth arial or tahoma, just a normal font. Or eduardian scipt. I'd say white text with dark colored (maybe black) outer glow.

I havent been designing thta long, maybe nearly a month in total. Materials and lighting is my main focus but im developing more modelling skills again. And ive decided to explore the effects such as water spray, deflecting etc. I understand it a but more now. Yeh, when it crumples at the bottom it looks weird. I still like it.

Well, this is a gif format of my cloth experiment. I went through some research on the web for looking how to use 3dsmax's cloth effects. It took some work getting the hang of it. I wanted to create a bed and a blanket for a room. Well, i know how to create the blanket now. I'll make a bed soon. What i created now was just as a test: If anybody wants to know how to do the cloth for any object, i can give a link - it really helped me out and really developped my skills

Cinema4d and bryce are used very often for abstract nowadays, i'd like to see them put to use for normal 3d too, but i wouldn't mind trying blender and i have, but i just can't work it, it's annoying.

Reducing opacity? I always thought that it was meant to be done with the material, but this is a new way thanks for the tip! Btw, I made another cool wallpaper, not exactly abstract i was just playing around with reflections and materials and i thought it looked cool: Hope you like it, the paint looks like fluroescent nail varnish now. I am actually pleased with the texture! What do you think?

Yeh, listen to GGG! This isn't abstract like many people do in 3d with pulling random shapes and distorting it, this is um...yeh, but still, it does represent something. I should increase the transparency, now where's that project file...

Well, i was talking to this girl on msn and i raised the subjecty about 3d yadda yadaa, then i talked about my silver motorbike and she was like - you made that? She was pretty amazed. Then i said i have no inspiration left and she said to make water/raindrops, so i made a water droplet which looks frozen. This then looks abstract: I'd like to know how to make water splash off other stuff in 3DS. This is just simple abstract but comments greatly appreciated and also help.

Nice image, you have good knowledge of photoshop (if that's what you used) but grunge is tending to be newbish because everyone does it, grtunge brushes are always the same. If you still like grunge, what i did was select marquee a part of an image and define it as brush, that was grunge not just scratches. I didn't keep myself occupied with grunge too long though.

I like the second one but the last oone is too busy...I've noticed how everybody nowadays uses bryce to create 'abstract' images. I'm botherd to start learning it though but good job!

Aah the things i used to fight when i was a kid, nike is better? It's a brand, sure it's expensive and it makes you feel special, adidas is expensive. But buy the shoe from thailand without the lable and you'll be paying 4cents, but once a lable is printed on, voila 400% profit made by the evil corporation. I really don't agree with any of which brand is better because theyre all the same. Like ralphie said, buy smart, buy what feels nice. Buying nike, nothing special it woould make me feel like a sheep and would have nothing to back me up with saying its better. It would also make my wallet empty.

Bash, i'll have to say i don't really like your splash, but that's my opinion - pixel fonts are best in caps. But i loooove you wallpaper, make that your splash. I just wondered, you're probly using cinema 4d? Because i cannot create abstract like that in 3ds, theres no matrix extrude but hey. I just wonder why people like bryce so much, ive heard a lot about it but don't know it. can anybody help? I like the silver one made by benz1435...

I actually like the abstract an all, but it's a little simple - that's not a bad thing but...you could have left the white shapes away a little and shown what was the original image. Just a suggestion.

You see, those 'things' connecting them I don't know what theyre called but in them are little plasma motors, the bike doesn't need chains. It's driven by um, plasma and nuclear stuff! I like to use my imagination. I know it looks fake but think of plasma and stuff

And several hours later i completed my greatest project - my smooth bike. I tried to get is as sleek as my motorbike before the robot and i did - even better now. The lighting is improving everytime and so is the result. What do you guys give my latest bike?

And only several minutes later i finished something unimpressing; i don't like it, my attempt at a robot:
