dear odomike, You can't register for gmail like yahoo mail and hotmail . You have to get a gmail invite from a already registered gmail user. I currently have an invite .If you want to get it just PM me your email and I will send it to you.

For pop up blocking simply use Mozilla Firefox browser. And for spyware spybot is correct choice but I think you should also use Lavasoft Ad-aware which is Free like spybot and firefox.

Dreamweaer is very hard to use for me. NVU is easy to use. But my favourite is 1stPage.

It has a option in which we can select that the editor will use CSS or it will use html tags for coding of the page.
