On some sites and game, when you hover your mouse's curser on an image or word. A box containing words/pics/stuff appears where your curser is and when you move your curser away from that word/image the box disappears. How do you do that? On a side question: That costs $1.99 USD per month (2$), is it necessary to run simple simple ajax (getting info from server without loading page) or to run what i asked for at the begining of this post. Because i already paid for it twice and iam gona pay for it on 1/1 and i still don't know if its a necessity. Cuz if its not, iam just burning money since iam not using any advanced java functions/applications.

lol i remember one of my friend telling me a similar version of this but its about a 20$ radio with a mother and son paying, then when repaying them a dollar turns out missing. I don't remember the solution but its all a simple math trick or something, i'll try to remember it.

This happens alot, happened to me too. Perhaps when someone tries to post something in tutorial section he should recieve a pop message or so warning him that this is tutorial section and that his post should not be a question and will not be shown till a mod/admin approves it.

=) My english isn't that great too, if you want to improve your english and you can't attend an english class, i suggest reading some grammer books and to improve your conversation and/or chating skills add some people on MSN and talk to them in english, or join a yahoo ro MIRC english chat room. Might be annoying in the begining, but you will get used to it =).

Nice tips, but to make the post a bit more read friendly, perhaps you should rephrase to make the words less =). Also i see you have problems in english, thats ok there isn't a rule that says programers have to know english well. But perhaps you should read or study some english so that you don't face alot of problems communicating and understanding posts on Xisto and other similar sites =)

Just do your share and report all spam posts you see, that will help our mods alot. Iam pretty sure that the spamers are a hand ful of guys if just not one. Probably using a proxy, maybe the admins should try to trace his ip to ban it or so i dunno. But he could be using an internet cafe, if i wanted to spam i would do that :rolleyes:Anyways thx to the mods for the good work. Perhaps people who report posts should be awared, not on every report because then someone would spam and report those posts, but i dunno maybe the admins see who has been alot of help in fightign spam (via reporting) and reward him with something, small so than it can't be abused but worth clicking the button. Maybe 1 cent per reported post? it is easier to get one cent by posting (i dunno 1 word lol) than it is by creating a multi then making a spam post then reporting that post. It would encourage people to report instead of just ignoring spam posts. Incase a post is reported by several people, they all get the 1 cents. Just a thought , i doubt it would ruin the mycents system.

I didn't understand completly, does this mean everytime i get enough credits for a month it automatically pays? that would make it harder to save up. I replied asking about it. Edit: oh now i get it, an invoice is paid 10 days before its due date so that people have a heads up before their time ends. Since my next due date is at 1/1, iam assuming my next invoice will be paid at 21/12 or something. They could have been more clear on this before O.o

I agree, its good but Xisto is a professional site. That logo is great but it doesn't reflect Xisto's professionalism completely =).Mainly because of the background, change its color. Also add free domains near free hosting since well we can get free domains too.

When i first paid, why was the payment only for 5 days , now i have to come up with 3.8$ in less than 8 days? I thought i was getting extra, turns out i was already late in paying Why is it so? some people still havent transfered and i already paid twice , why was the first time i paid considered a payment for 5 days only =(. I am not defending terrorism, iam defending islam from both terrorists and people like you who say islam = terrorism. Some of these terrorists you exterminate happen to be innocents who were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Or simply people who disagree with your government. hm... can you check if Introduction post has post count?Also i come across a very annoying bug. I posted something in TEST, its basicly the word test like 50 times. I didn't get credited (which i was testing). So i edited it and put only plz delete. When i came back, i found out that i had lost about 3 credits. And iam sure iam gona loose equivalent in mycnets. I also noticed this a while ago when i submited my hosting request, i made an error so i edited the request and replaced it with only words please delte, and if i remember correctly i lost about 7 credits. So basicly you don't get credits for posting, but you loose credits for decreasing the size of that post. To test it, post a big post in Test, then edit it into 1 word. Is this suppose to happen?

I waited more than 24 hours and posted in a no post count forum and i got mycents, i also got credits instantly. The subforum i posted in is religion and phylosiphy, and the one i posted in before is introduction. So either both of them are one of the subforums that have post count or there is a glitch.If there is a glitch plz fix it fast before people start counting on mycents earned there.

So basicly you respond to terorism by being more terorists? How would you feel if country x opened its own version of Gwantanamo and filled it up with americans, british and french? Would you check if those were terrorists or would you start world war III on that country and say 'Even if these are heartless rapists and criminals they deserve a just trial and a good treatment' If these events help terrorists, then don't do them. And if these terrorists will do such things to their own people and then blame you for it then let them. Atleast you would be innocent of such accusations. But if truly are doing such things, then those terrorists are right as much as you are. I see both Al-Qaeda and US (government not people) as terrorists. Al-Qaeda with their suidal bombers blowing them selves up inside mosques and churches and US (again government not people) with their secret prisons and their abuse of 'Spreading democracy and human rights' in order to make things run their way. Terrorism is a tactic, you can't start a war on terrorism by following the same tactics because as you said these things encourage and strengthen terrorists, which is happening. And don't believe that anyone actually gives a damn about fighting terrorism outside their borders. Before terrorism there was communism, before that there was nazism, and before that there was spreading civilized way of life. They just need something to make you accept the decisions they make just like terrorists intentionally misinterpret islam to justify suicide bombing of civilians. I dislike any game that you must pay in order to be able to play, but i saw some of my friends playing WOW and it got my attention. However i think they are a waste of money because even if you are having fun, and in many cases its worth the money, you will reach a point where you don't want to play the game anymore but you keep paying for it because you don'y want to see the character you raised and paid alot of $ for get deleted. And in the end you will stop playing the game.There are alot of free games out there, maybe not in the same quality of WOW or Guild wars but good enough for me atm.

Unfortunatly most of the things you said are ture, yes Islam had better times ofcourse, the time of the prophet and Imams (for shiaas). After the death of mohammad and Imams there were some who came out with wrong conclusions and started tricking muslims for their own benefits. Personally iam against any religous rule wheter it was islamic, christian or jewish. A religion is supposed to be perfect, free of any flaws otherwise its not a religion. Any political system using islam as a front is damaging islam because there is no ruling in the world without flaws, whether its America, Briton, France.... All have flaws in their systems(bribes, dirty tricks...). So when anyone uses any religiousity as a front it damages it. Inshort, Islam didn't change, some of its followers did. Depends on who you are talking about, there are muslims who will kill non-muslims (Al-Qaeda), muslims who ignore non-muslims and live isolated from them (they don't like or hurt you). And there are muslims who are open minded and treat non-muslims the same way they treat muslims. There are many terorists that you don't see them as terrorists. Ones who aren't muslims, you don't here about them because either they exist in small groups in some 3rd world countries that noone knows about or you don't hear about them because of biased media coverage. I dunno about you but i see giving an order to turn a muslim cemetary into a museum qualifies as terrorism. Isolating a country because you didn't like the election's outcome qualifies as terrorism. kidnapping people and torturing them to death with no trial or any respectful treatment just because you think they are gona hurt you qualifies as terrorism. Here is a question, if muslims took over half your country and kicked you out of your house because muslims used to live their 1000 years ago, wouldn't you call that terrorism? Prior to that day i only posted once, and i got credited for it. So iam guessing it was a litch. I'll post only this today after i get credited for it i'll wait for tomorow and then post in a No Post Count form and if happens again i'll contact a mod. Edit: It happened again, i contacted a mod (yordan) and recieved: So he will address an admin with the matter, i already earned about 1$ from posts in no post count forums, what i advice you guys is to keep posting theire to the minimun or if you post make sure not to count the mycents you get there in your acount because when,assuming its a bug, it is fixed, alot of $ will be lost.

When i saw the No post count near some forums i assumed that they don't give credits but i never checked, today ,before this post, i only posted in the introduction forum which is no post count. But i recieved mycents, i didn't check for credits. Is this supposed to happen? cuz then someone would do alot of 'Testing' in the Test forum and earn alot of mycents.

Why flash?,I still haven't done alot of java ajax scripting, i only did one script. But from what i know it sends and retreaves info from the server without refreshing the page. So what you can do is first create a table in your database to hold the chat inputs.Then make a php script that shows the latest 20 inputs for example. Finally make a java function and ajax to view those latest inputs everytime chat is pushed by the user, also you wouldn't want your user to click chat to keep reading new inputs, so you can make an automated 5 second updater or so. Is this better or should i search for flash chat too?

While i rather stay out of religious debates on the internet, some flames here were too much to accept. First of all Islam doesn't mean submission t comes from the word Salam in arabic meaning peace. As for all the terrorists which happen to be muslims, thats not islam. Every religiousity has extremets and since Islam is the punching bag of politicians atm you only hear about Muslim extremests. There are christian, Jewish as well as non-religious terrorists and extremists but you don't hear about them as much.Also in Islam you don't have to be a muslim to enter heaven, i dont' think alot of religiousities say the same thing...People who were born in africa or before islam came couldn't be judged for islamic religious duties because well they don't know about them. If you are a non-muslim you will be judged, according to islam, for things you did in life. For example you don't need a messenger from God to know that killing,stealing or hurting others is bad. In other words, you can pretty much die fighting muslims and still enter heaven. Example, some american soldiers in Iraq died while killing muslim resistors, not muslims terrorists, muslims who were defending Iraq from the american invasion. If those soldiers were good in their life, they enter heaven.You might find it hard to accept the view of islam iam offering, especially with all the ****s claiming to be followers of islams and going 'All americans will burn in hell' or 'All non believers in islam must convert or die'... thats not islam.What you see on the news is not Islam, its a bad version of islam, the version of extremists and flamers.Also i hope that the starter of this topic didn't believe the flames without doing some research, because from his main post he said he understood. I played it on NES too, played 2 versions one was pretty easy since the special moves' combinations were very obvious to figure out. And the other version was a bit harder since it took me longer to figure out the moves. And well if you don't know the moves you can't win anything, especially versus computer. I remember i played with Rio i think, the guy in white who can jump and spin around . Good days...Any ways after that i played it on PS one and then... well i stopped playing it, i played mortal combat after wards but Street fighter was the best.Edit: this is an old topic, why are you guys resurecting it:P?

I doubt its an unnamed folder, the alt +255 have to mean something. Maybe its an ascii code for a character that can't be viewed on the screen or something i dunno lol. But i doubt its unnamed, cuz i dunno alot about memory and such but iam assuming each folder has place in memory. And well when you are entering this 'unnamed' folder, how do you find the contents in it? cuz if it isn't called anything, you can't find it on the hard disk.
