I totally agree with tininho, a good hosting plan is not disk space and bandwidth critical. A good service must be stable, reliable and to have a fast responding/resolving troubles support team. I had the opportunity to test some "BIG" hosting companies, Xisto.com seems to be better on many cases. Blessings!

"Official" Messenger clients are a BIG headache!!!. I prefer to use the fast, lightweight, multi-protocol, multi-platform and portable: Gaim Messenger. But when I have an emergency and only a web browser, then I go to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/, is THE SAFE Web Multi Messenger Client!!!. Please don't waste your time using commercial unusable and distracting applications. Blessings!

4 years ago I tried PSXE. I get a lot of fun in an old PIV 1.8 Ghz, 256mb RAM, 128mb Video, Intel Motherboard and Processor. Remember that you must own a PSP and every original disc of the games you want to play.There are many pages that give you help to install a PSP controller on your computer. The key to have a good emulation is to get the right PSP BIOS version and Video plugins, "Pete's video plugin" was great!!Another thing is that there are some tools to extract images, videos, music and sounds from PSP game CD's. Only ask google and be patience.Blessings!

MySQL is the best for web development. MyISAM is really fast and very reliable. I had managed a database with tables of more than 700MB without problems, EVERY LITTLE BIT IS STORED OK. Just put attention on the support. Unstable/Unexperienced hosting is the more dangerous risk.For very large databases Don't forget to use only the needed indexes, fields type&size and well designed/tested structure. Consider database replication and to synchronize your local copies SJA is a nice tool! -

Yes, I love Google!! I would give it a 9/10.Google is the "Well Done" version of web services. In other words: is like the Coca-Cola, and the other are ONLY "Pepsi".My Internet experience has changed drastically since I use Google: probably the best ever search engine, Gmail(beta): If that is a beta, Imagine what will be the stable version!!!. You can chat via Jabber and to have a web messenger(my dream 4 years later). There is also the calendar with reminders, and many other not well know tools to help not only your PIM(Personal Information Management), there are also tools for communities, developers. Very nice personal settings and... and... and... (as said in spanish) "googlea" to know more.Why not a 10/10?, because Google is in that way :ph34r:Anyway, that would be nice to read post about the "bad" of Google.

In Linux you don't necessary need to install a full windows system in a virtual machine to run a DOS game. Wine and Freedos(dosemu) supports many games, i tried many abandonware successfully in my Linux box.
