Well I totally Agree with you.another problems with consoles are.. you cant upgrade. so while those graphics r astoudin now.. three years from now (when the ps3 xbox 360 whatever.. is still in its original form) PC technology will catch up. then surpass a little bit, then before you know it.. the next console will try take tyhe lead again. if you want to play a PC game..u will need to upgrade it.... A real pain i knw but in the end... looks incredible...So beta PC Gaming is always going to be be more flexible n in my view better! PC Gaming RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!IF U HAVE A GAMING DEVICE(PS2,3,XBOX ETC) YOU ARE NECESSARILY HAVING A PC AT HOME(CUZ ITS THE NEED OF THE HOUR)...BUT IF U HAVE A PC AT HOME ...ITS NOT CONFIRM THAT U HAVE A CONSOLE ALSO.i know why some ppl like console gamingPCs ALREADY HAVE BETTER SOUND AND GRAPHICS THAN ANY GAME CONSOLE OUT THERE.THE ONLY REASON GAMES CONSOLES HAVE MORE FANS IS CUZ THEY ARE CHEAPER.TaLK TO ANY DIE HARD HARDCORE GAMER, AND THEY'LL TELL U WHTS BETTER

I'm trying to install windows vista beta 2 32 bit from the HDD as a clean install on a new, windows formatted partition, and it will go well and restart for the first time, but when the setup loads it will only show the grey scrolling stripe after a while it will give me a page file in nonpage area blue screen. Running an emachines computer with 1 gig of ram, 2 ghz amd processor 32 bit, 120 gig IDE hard drive, Nvidia geforce 4 mex integrated card with geforce 2 chipsets. All RAM tests come back as having no bad ram. I've also tried installing from the DVD and from an .iso using Daemon Tools with the same problem Here's the error I getComputer has detected an error, windows has been shut down to prevent further damage. due to a page fault in nonpage area Check software and hardware to see if installed correctly, blah blah blah. Then at the bottom: STOP 0x00000050 0x00000001 0x86310000 0x00000000 Any insight?one more thing is Vista is not compatable with Nero.. I deleted Nero finally got to probaly a log in screen but the entire screen was black except for the bottom rite corner with Windows Vista and the build number. I'm stuck here, lol. I just found a Nivida driver maybe thats my problem good luck i have got four PCs i have successfully installed Vista on 3 system only one system left. on this PC i am getting this error "Computer has detected an error, windows has been shut down to prevent further damage"whats this About?Any idea?

I've seen many Norton Anti-virus horror stories whilst working on computers. A few months back I saw a business taken down by a worm Norton didn't detect. What kind of reliability is that? As if it isn't enough that the damn thing smothers each and every system..norton has become trash, mcafee has stepped up not only their home solutions but have taken the enterprise market with the foundstone aquisition. With Mcafee shifting to the enterprise sector the microsoft AV software will take a much bigger chunk out of symantec on the consumer level. i am surprise of how long this company lasted. their product stinks!I have quit using Syamtec products about a year ago..

A common request I hear is "How do get rid of 'red eye' in my photographs?" The red eye you sometimes see in peoples eyes in photographs (which is actually becoming less common since many cameras now incorporate an anti-red eye feature) is actually caused by light reflected off the retinas. The best advice I can give you is to avoid red eye from happening entirely. An easy way to do that—besides buying a camera with anti-red eye technology—is to (if you have a detachable flash or an alternate means of lighting) move the flash away from the lens of the camera. That way, if the persons eyes reflect the light from the flash, it'll be reflected back toward the flash and not into the lens of the camera, thereby negating the red eye effect entirely. However, if the picture has already been taken, and you're holding an image of someone that's gazing back at you with those spooky red eyes, how do you get rid of it? Thankfully, Photoshop makes this process very easy:Since you're using the color replacement tool to replace the red in the eyes with another color—black—leave the Mode set to Color. You can specify if the color in an image should be continually replaced as you drag the brush around, or on a click-by-click basis by selecting an option from the Sampling pull-down menu. In this case, specify that you want the colors to be replaced while you're dragging the brush around by clicking the sampling menu and selecting Continuous. You can also set how Photoshop should treat the other colors around where you're clicking by choosing an option from the Limits menu. Because you want Photoshop to change the color of the image that's only right underneath the brush tip, choose Contiguous from the limits pull-down menu.Lastly, you can also specify how sensitive Photoshop is when replacing colors. The higher the Tolerance, the more colors will be replaced as you drag your brush around. Conversely, the lower the tolerance, the fewer colors will be replaced. For this exercise, leave the tolerance set to its default, 30%.Once you've set all of the color replacement tool options, you can start removing that red eye.As you can see in the following image, it can help your accuracy if you zoom into the image to around 300 to 400%. Then, all you have to do is simply drag the color replacement tool around the red in the red eye.Theres a Software Fireworks MX 2004 it has a new tool for removing the "red-eye effect" on photographs. The Red-eye Removal tool works by removing all the shades of red within a certain range that are within the selected area. These shades of red will be replaced by a neutral color range of gray and black. There are Options in it like size shape Tolerence strength.Size: The size setting controls the size of the tool cursor. You can set the size of the cursor between 1 - 100 via the slider. The default size for the Red-eye Removal tool is 13. Shape: The shape setting controls the shape of the tools cursor. Choose between square or round. The default shape for the Red-eye Removal tool is round. Tolerance: The tolerance setting determines the range of hues to be replaced (0 replaces only red; 255 replaces all hues that contains red). The default tolerance for the Red-eye Removal tool is 32. Strength: The strength setting determines the darkness of the colors that replace the red pixels. The default strength for the Red-eye Removal tool is 25.

How To Use MySQL/phpMyAdmin Under Linux Web Development
HeLLRaiSer replied to PoddarWeb's topic in Programming
All major and most minor databases are now available on Linux (with the lone exception of MS-SQL). This is a sea-change compared to summer of 1996, when this list was slim indeed, listing mSQL, Postgres and a handful of others (Solid, Empress, Adabas). But at the end of 1998 and start of 1999, all of the major commercial DB vendors (IBM, Oracle, Informix, Ingres, Sybase) made their wares available on Linux +There are more SQL database systems available for Linux than anyone would expect -

guys lets discuss this issue ... PC or Console?Heyy Guyzz .. the pc will be ahead of the consoles in about a year...dnt Worry the consoles xbox 360 & ps3 will be out dated n over thrown by the pc. the pc is far superb to the consoles and with the new ati x1900 series is already at 775mhz but this has xfire tec which means u can have 1500mhz 3 times the power of the xbox & ps3 and with the amd duel core fx 60 + Intel tech 3.5 Ghz Hyper threadin processors its already ahead of both + th pc does far more than jusy gaming... hehehe..Consoles perform only one task really well.... where PCs can be used for an extremely wide range of things... Some console manufacturers may try to make them a little more flexible, but its unlikely they will ever support near the selection of applications that is available for PCs...One of the biggest advantages the PC has over consoles right now is that there are a lot more games available for the PC than there are for consoles, particularly when it comes to multiplayer online games. Not only are the vast majority of MMOGs designed for the PC, but PC gamers also have the option to play MUDs, Email games, browser games, and a wide variety of titles available as free downloads.Another ANTH adanvatange.. computer monitors look a lot better than TVs... Even with a top-notch television, console hardware is not currently designed to run games at PC resolutions. The Bottom Line..Although consoles are already the best option for some gamers, particularly those looking for something easier and more affordable than the PC, I think it will be a while yet before the PC has any serious rivals when it comes to multiplayer online gaming. The next generation of consoles may offer more inter-connectivity, more cross-platform games, and may even have VGA monitor ports, but until then they have little chance of providing the variety or caliber of game experience currently available to PC users.

Need Info On Cyber Crimes & Cyber Laws
HeLLRaiSer replied to nightfox1405241487's topic in Websites and Web Designing
2004 was a good year for criminals keen to use technology to fleece consumers...Google sometimes seems like half my life. I start my days looking at Google News on the Internet, and often spend hours using the Google search engine to learn more about subjects I am going to write about. Little did I know I was dancing with the devil. It's true. For the sake of this very rich company getting still richer, Google has agreed to collaborate with China in subverting the Internet's promise as an extraordinary means of liberation and in keeping the Chinese people subjugated. More specifically, it is reported, Google will practice Chinese-style censorship, ensuring none of the 100 million Web surfers in China can use Google to find anything by typing in such words as "democracy" or "human rights," or by trying to locate nongovernment information on such topics as Tibetan freedom, Taiwan independence, the Falun Gong religion or atrocities committed by their own officials... -
